Ora Form - This is the form that Exitus is most commonly seen in. Standing at a whooping fifteen and a half feet, this dragon puts on an impressive form. The majority of his long, serpentine figure is covered in a mixture of black and dark green scales. Odd swirls and designs cover those scales, the hue of those designs being a brighter shade of green than that which his scales hold. Along the length of his spine sprouts a matted and thin mane of long, wispy black and green fur. Sections of that mane and the flesh and meat beneath it are torn from the very bone, leaving the ivory structure of the spine revealed in several places. From his rear sprouts a long tail with curves spikes, which is completely devoid of flesh or muscle until the very tip where a plume of black and green fur sprouts forth. His forepaws are shaped and scaled like the rest of his breed, however several chunks and portions of the flesh, like on the rest of his body, has been torn away to reveal the bones beneath. The scales at the front of his chest twist and curve around scars hidden beneath their hard, protective exterior. From the center of the dragon's forehead sprouts a long, spiraled horn, which, like his scales, is a swirled mixture of black and dark green. This creature glares out at the world from black eyes that have near-neon green, cat-like pupils. The only portions of his face missing flesh are his cheek bones and brows, which protrude from his scales in a subliminal, but surprising manner. Ivory, curved fangs stick slightly out from beneath the lips of the dragon. Similar to his long, sinister claws, the dragon's fangs are usually stained in blood.
Ulu Form - Exitus is rarely seen in his Ulu form. When he does take this form, however, it is more like a smaller form of his Ora form than anything. The sections of missing flesh are the same, as are his scales and markings. The spikes are removed from his tail and his horn shrinks down to a dark emerald jewel upon his forehead.
~Known Magic~ Dark Matter Demolition
DMF- Dark Matter Flame, an attack in which a dark-blue jet or ball of flames is sprayed from the mouth of the user. The flames burn at intense heats and spread easily as nearly anything can become fuel. Dark Matter Flame can either be used in a jet form with a range of 15-20 feet, or it can be used in a ball form which can travel 25-50 feet. A DMF ball thrown a long distance is weaker than one thrown a short distance.
DMG- Dark Matter Grenade, a simple magical attack in which an opaque, black sphere is formed in the claws or mouth of the caster. When thrown, it explodes upon impact with a blast radius of 5-10 feet. The blast range is dependent on the frequency of use.
DMH- Dark Matter Hellfire, a medium-skill magical attack in which a barrage of DMG-like spheres is launched. The spheres are about a third the size and strength of an actual DMG. A prolonged barrage will have a significant drain on the energy of the user. ((Ora Form Only))
DMI- Dark Matter Imploder, a high-skill magical attack in which the user forms a semi-clear black sphere. The sphere is around twice the size of a DMG and takes around thirty seconds to conjure. It is thrown, and upon contact, anything within a 5 ft radius is imploded into nothing but dust. This attack has a heavy drain on the user. ((Ora Form Only))
((Exitus can not sacrifice his life to bring back that of another.))
~Personality~ Exitus is very much the loner sort of creature. He has only been friends with one creature, who has been dead for a great deal of time. He has been known to kill complete strangers, or even their entire area, just for looking at him. The most prominent reason for such actions is his hatred for all things living. Over the years he has relaxed from his uptight early years. Still ever the lethal killer, he reserves all out war for the select few. Manners were never taught to him, as he had only to respect one creature. This dragon rarely feels fear, as he sees himself as already dead. Often that lack of fear makes him seem over-confident.
~Weaknesses~ He can go into blind rages in which he acts before thinking.
~Strengths~ His anger can give him a second wind.
~Kin~ None
~History~ When Exitus hatched from his egg, it was to find himself in the home of a strange man who seemed to be more than a mere human. The young dragon naturally grew attached to this curious being, learning much over the years from the only parent figure he had ever known. His charge was an accomplished sorcerer, who had many enemies. Many a time Exitus fought off groups of attackers, protecting his master at all costs. For a few hundred years the two waited on the fringes of society. At the time Exitus did not know why he was made to wait, but he eventually learned it was so that he could grow to his potential. His master was a spiteful man, which Exitus had learned from the several disciplinary actions he had suffered. Rather than rebel against his master in these times of discipline, Exitus instead did his best to take what was allotted to him. He wished to impress his master, to make them proud.
When Exitus grew to his full size, his master told him the past. The dragon learned why he and the one he had protected for so long had remained in hiding. His master had tried to overthrow a kingdom, and had failed in doing so. As the man painted the picture, Exitus saw his protectee as one who had failed to rid the lands of a tyrant. He was still young and ignorant as to the truth. Somehow his master had managed to escape with his egg, and that was how things had come to be. Exitus felt a swell of purpose, as if it was destiny it was his egg that had been chosen. He resolved to his master to do his best to help overthrow the 'wicked' ruler once and for all.
The two made an attack on several villages first, Exitus' protectee telling him that they needed to starve the king and his men first to make things as peaceful as possible. However, the dragon found himself destroying the homes and livelihoods and very families of countless innocents. Soon he began to hear the shouts of "Destroyer!" when he and his charge marched in on an attack. His master assured him that these were truly evil people, the pawns of the enemy. However, Exitus could not quite grasp how so many could be so loyal. Yet the part of him that wanted to stop, was over-ruled by the part of him that felt a rush in battle. There was the pure adrenaline which made his mind reel with excitement, and then the satisfaction of having made the only creature he had ever really known proud.
For nearly a year they waged their magical war. At last the day came to attack the head of the serpent. After a gruesome and bloody attack, Exitus and his protectee were face to face with their goal. However, the ruler of the lands struck Exitus' master down. Quickly the ruler tried to tell Exitus that the one he had been protecting all these years was the true evil, and that he had been to be an instrument of that evil as well. Overcome with rage, Exitus slew the ruler, tearing his body limb from limb. Afterward, he clutched onto the lifeless form of his charge and wept. Using the final ability all his specie has, Exitus traded his life for that of his master's.
The one that Exitus had protected for so long was determined though. He preserved the dragon's body using his magics and began to try and discover a way to bring back to life his most loyal body-guard. After many long years of studying mixed with ruling a kingdom, the sorcerer discovered a way to raise the dead. However, the spell reversed on the sorcerer, killing him as Exitus was brought back to life. The re-awakened dragon was unaware of all this of course. The last memory he had was of clutching his protectee's dead body in his claws. He saw before him his charge, dead on the ground, and several robed men watching them. Thinking he was still in hostile territory, Exitus was overcome with rage. The undead dragon razed the entire surrounding area to the ground, killing everything and leaving nothing. Overcome with grief, the dragon disappeared into the horizon.
For centuries there were many stories of unknowing creatures wandering into mysterious caves filled with bones. These creatures supposedly all saw a monster stuck between life and death. All of them were allowed to return to their homes, being met with ridicule and doubt. Always the night after such a sighting, the Destroyer would come to bring upon destruction. Myths began to be whispered about a horrible monstrosity living in the mountains. These myths spoke of Exitus, who during this time lost his grasp on right and wrong. Without his protectee, his only friend, the dragon lost himself to the harsh emotions of rage and hatred.
After much time of exiling himself into the mountains, Exitus eventually set off to wander aimless about the world. Usually he stayed away from others, as he felt an over-powering rage take him when in the presence of another creature. He knew what he looked like, knew that he was not what he had once been. Instead he was a nightmarish perversion of that image, no longer a protector of life, but a bringer of death. He accepted his new identity, burying his sorrow for the past deep inside himself. For that moment on, Exitus truly became the Destroyer.
