Heres the pitch:
A group of demons/creature have dwelled for many eons beneath the fritile soil of Shinkou and Akeru. In the past, their numbers were small and enough to keep them happy. Now however, their population has grown to numbers beyond belief and their system of underground tunnels and caverns is seeming so small. With a new generation about to hatch, these creatures have finally moved above ground to lay their young. Though they are blinded by the light of day, these creatures move at night to better insure their own security and survival, yet their eggs are far from being easily destroyed. Traps had been laid out, not to mention the natural posion that comes from the eggs themselves.
Will the pack members of Shinkou and Akeru let these monsters fester and thrive? I hope not..

This plot wil be put on by Fely and myself, however we are asking people to volunteer for a small commitee that will help monitor threads and push them along. The leaders of the small threads will have to make sure that the thread continues on and doesn't stop, and follows orders for key land mark happenins (such as diving into the underground tunnels, destroying the bosses, playing the mini-bosses, etc..) if interested in the plot for SO please post so. All members are welcome!

I'm definately interested in this plot ^_^
Quick quesiton for Fefe though. Are these creatures in any relation to the Cave-Demons? Cause I was thinkin, Hawk sure does spend a lot of time in those tunnels. Perhaps at some point in the plot, that knowledge he's gained from studying hyroglyphs on the cave walls could come in handy? *shrug*
Either way, you can bet I'm in ^_^

Just so everyone else who reads this is up to speed, the cave-demons Monkey's talking about are my original species, here: shinkouookami.com/index.cgi?board=species&action=display&thread=5584Now, I don't want to reveal too much about what Z and I have in mind, but it's possible that this new threat -- the ones with the venomous eggs that insist on taking over Shinkou -- are a species related to the cave-demons. But the cave-demons are generally a peaceful clan ruled by a king and queen. These new demons would be much more savage and violent, and they will kill wolves in order to take over the land. Even though I answered Ave's question, I don't mind reiterating it for anyone else who's interested. These new demons (we'll come up with a name for this species to make it less confusing xD) want to expand to the land of Shinkou and Akeru, which is flush with resources and magic. These demons don't really have politics and their numbers are growing very, very rapidly. They are unpredictable and they are dangerous. It might even be possible that they need to feed wolves to their offspring in order for them to grow. There is a LOT of room for more intricate plot developments -- in other words, there's a lot of space to welcome in a variety of characters. We need victims, leaders, reckless loners, mercenaries, traitors -- you think you can add something to the plot, that's great! As Z said, we're looking for people who want to "lead" threads, i.e., monitor them to make sure they head in a certain direction just to keep the plot going and interesting. You don't have to be an oldie, a staffer, or even high ranked to volunteer! We just need to trust that you'll be able to stay active in threads so you don't leave people hanging. |

ps: Oblivionic (along with Deko, Nova, Echo have all had interactions with underground dwelling demons, yus? |

hmm...well it sounds interesting but with how fickle my muse is being at the moment i think i shall at least be a bystander for now n.n; -breaks out pompoms- GO TEAM!

Eh... well I'm extremely interested but I have my senior year in high school starting next week and I'm not sure how active I will be able to be. We'll see how things start playing out for homework and then I'll try and be on as much as possible. Also, I'm going to send a pm to Fely and Z about the species thing cause it's really ironic with something I was thinking... its about this species I recently invented but haven't posted yet and it sounds weirdly like the demons y'all were thinking of. If you aren't interested let me know but I'll still pm their demon bio thingie XDD

To clarify: when I say "active," I just mean active enough to move things along. We just don't want threads sitting there not moving because the "leader" hasn't posted for several days. We understand that people have schedules...heck, I know I won't on all day. But signing on and posting every couple of days is fine. And that's why we're trying to get a lot of people involved, so that even if one or two people have to drop out for whatever reason, we can keep trucking along with the overall plot. It's not the end of the world xD

that's kinda what I meant, Fely, haha ^^; in the past couple years during school I'll end up disappearing for a couple months or whatever. I'm really hoping that doesn't happen this year but I won't really know until it gets started haha xD Probably I can get on during the weekends so that'll knock out the month disappearance... we'll see ^^

Well it seems like a lot of people are interested, and I am pretty sure there is going to be a lot more joining when we start this thing. Speaking of which, when are we gonna start this up? And when are we going to establish everything else?
