Appearance: Solace, is a Dakkan. In lemans terms, a wolf spirit merged with a suit of armour. The armour glimmers lightlessly in a sea of black metal. Mysterious as it is protective. The suit of armour is Full plate armour, encasing solace's spirit easily, Along with Keils body...
The armour grew with the new soul entrapped within it, and thus has adapted slightly. A Long metal spiked tail fans out across his back. And the metal in the armour has indeed changed and adapted also, in the form of fur. Or more 'Bristles and needles' of metal growing in a furlike manner from the black plates. From his paws grow Moderate sized knifelike metal claws, and a pair of Serrated Metal teeth accompany both upper and lower jaw of his faceplate. Either set of the metal protrusions, being his teeth and jaw, are not to be taken lightly. They're not there for decoration, When angered, the brutal maw of solace glows with an infernal darkness(the shadow energy) seething through his cruel metal teeth and claws.
Solace's metal body encases keil's dead corpse, locking it away in a dark sea of spiked barbaric black fel iron. The mass of such metal is almost beyond comprehension, wheying almost a ton. This heavy Dakkan suit of armour keeps keil locked away. Solace's mind is a similar prison, Keeping the spirit of Keil locked within it, The teenage wolf's screaming is barely a drop in the dark ocean that is solace's mind.
His most Distinguishable feature is his Sparkleing mercury/pewter coloured iris's, which seem to loom out of the sea of black metal that is solace's new form, They are the only part of keil Solace took with him, that hasnt changed, even if they do burn with a darkened fire. Second to that, is a rather strange black van helsing style hat Solace wears cocked over one eye. Almost as if he were human, In a tribute to how Keil used to wear it. After all, the stupid wolf allowed him into being. Thirdly, He is Litteraly the smell of Death incarnate. His very armours being, Houses the rotting corpse of Keil.
Personality: As a pup Keil had a loving and playfull nature, but As he Grew his spirit magic took over. Granting him shadow powers, But no access to his soul. Instead, he is a vessel for Solace. Or was. Since ressurection, Keil is lost. Solace the shadowweaver is Risen.Keil tended to dabble in the shadow arts for silly and unnessisary ways, as his curiosity lead him to a shadow spirit which playfully floated around him, As a teenager, the novelty of this magic had worn off, but he loved to have fun with it. And that proved his Undoing....
-Spells:(1) A fully fledged shadowmancer can summon anything from shadow, if he tries hard enough. He does know several techniques he has used in the past (Pre death). Environmental spells are quite possible with shadow magic, However, they do not last long due to Solace, already foccussing on staying in his body, and thus in this world, and being shadow magic, the spells do not effect the environment drasticly, or "beyond repair."
Infectious Darkness (2)-
A possible killing move. The casters teeth and claws envelope in shadow energy, and upon an attack has no effect on its target, Aside from a scratch or bite. This is because the shadow energy doesn't hurt the target, merely sinks into their body, waiting for the casters whim to do something. It is quick to summon, yet when successfully used, it takes time for the shadow to pass through the targets circulatory system, at the normal rate of blood. This can lead to Oxygen starvation, as the shadow literally forces oxygen of the victims bloodflow due to shadow in their system, AND/OR it can lead to a gruesome death, involving the shadow energy trying to rip out of the victims body, through veins and arteries.
Whim Of Fur (3)-
Solace, being a Dakkan is entirely made of Fel Iron, including the fur adorning over his plates, as mentioned in his description it is sharp and bristly. At the chanting of a shadow littanny his coat shimmers with a black/purple energy, detaching itself from his body with a mind of its own. Each individual strand of metal fur is barblike, crude and black as the armour which holds it. Upon detachment the fur flurries around, similar to a plague of tiny metal locusts, making Solace harder to attack, or the flock of shadow infused metal fur flies at its target, nipping and scratching at Solace's enemy. Individual cuts are miniscule scratches, but with the sheer amount of fur involved, becomes a rending move, tearing into its target bit by bit, the sheer mass of fur at once is almost devastating, when thinking of each individual strand of fur a wolf should have on his body.
Will Of The Dead(4)- Solace, being dead himself Fascinates in the art of necromancy as a second magic. Occasionaly he will use shadow energy, in a cocktail of necromancy in order to re-animate a dead body for a short period of time.
Breath Of The Dakkan (5)
As an undead creature, Solace's body is in itself a hive of rot and disease, Harbouring infections, bacteria and virus's in high quantity. Thus his bodily fluids and body itself cause infection, fevers, Vomiting, and various symptoms of sickness. Upon the exhaltion of his dead breath into another, the attacked would become infected in some form or another. The following features may cause infection:
His breath, his corpse's flesh, and his bodily fluids within that corpse.
Shadowportation(6)
A simple spell involving the teleportation of small objects from one shadow to another. It can be used in various different ways. Solace is unable to teleport anything bigger than a rabbit however, and definately cannot teleport anything bigger. It requires two shadows, One to send the object into, and another for the object to emerge. If in darkness the spell is still useable, as the dark is still the absence of light, as is a shadow.
Dakkan Destruction (7)
As a Dakkan is merely held together by the spirits whim, It can be separated and manipulated by said spirit in many ways. Dakkans are notorious for controlling armour, but some Dakkan study the grotesque magic further, learning how tohave better control over their own metal body's moreso than a living creature could its own. It is this reason that Dakkans have been known to dissasemble themselves on a molecular level, before pulling themselves back together in the form of other objects.
Skills & natural perks:
Tenacity(1)- The Dakkan's are entirely made of metal, they are not 'Physicly' Damage Dealers, but are built to take damage in high quantity. Thus they are a tenacious race.
Coat Of Iron(2)- Solace's artificial fur is made of black iron, the tiny hairs covering his entire body, such as a normal wolf. However because of the metalic properties of these thin hairs, they tend to cut and scratch on contact, causing very minor damage to attackers.
Dakkan Determination(3)- The Entire purpose of a Dakkan is its will to remain in body within the mortal realm, (as a dakkan is a possessed object.) Thus Aslong as the spirit wills to survive in the mortal realm, it shall not depart from it, Or its body. This makes Dakkan's Unkillable in the sence of not dying, HOWEVER they can be destructed, as an object may be. Eventualy the will of the spirit will pull the object in question (in this case armour) back together over a period of time. THIS IS NOT instant. It would take a period of half hour Shinkou time AND/OR a minimum of Four posts for the Dakkan in question to re-assemble. My race is far too hardy even for my liking, Thus restrictions to Dakkans are put into play to make roleplaying more enjoyable for others.
Biography: Keil was sharp witted, But lacked alot of common sence. It is this factor that got him lost from his pack and family, As he chased a shadow orb into the woods, loosing his family, he has reason to beleive his old family are dead.
His mother was a Dire wolf, And his father a Demon wolf/dire Hybrid, thus giving him magical abilities, yet looking like a harmless canine. Being young and naiive however he didn't like to fight much. Allthough when he did fight, he considered it playing.
As a pup Keil was raised by a strange creature, a large behemothic green being named Adastros. Keil had already forgotten his name, however he taught him wolfish, and the ways of the wild. Addy raised him, attemting to teach the pup manners and morals. Keil has alot of morals, yet manners arnt one of his strong points.
As a teen Keil was extremely attracted to she-wolves, his hormones out of controll at this stage. Now he tends to be witty, slightly sarcastic, and very egotistical in his pride and good looks. Since solace is using his body, he is Very similar.
Solace is a self motivated perfectionist. Not to mention a corrupt spitefull being. If he does a Good deed, he means not to please others, Merely a peice in place toward his own self obsessed goal.
Keils Tragic Death was indeed not his own doing. It was His magic spirit, Solace, who had him killed, By possessing him and killing him By agrovating another, more powerfull being.
Now all that remains of Keil, is his rotting Corpse. Held in motion merely by solace, and the armours movements.
Solace may be impure, mysterious and dark, However he is not pure evil. Most of his compassion is indeed dead, But the flare of keil at the back of his soul gives him slight goodness. A shred of light in a sea of evil. Occasionly Keil may rise and take his body back, but it is short lived. Solace's power tends to overwhelm Keils soul in comparison, meaning Solace is in control nearly all of the time. Keil barely being a blip in solaces mind.
