Appearance: Her fur resembles a strange deep turquoise color, and her eyes are bright golden. She has a pair of flimsy gossamer wings, which are only good for gliding for short distances. She is a rather petite female.
Personality: Echo's singing is her life; she loves to make both wordless and lyrical songs of life, love, nature, anything she cares to sing about. There had been a "hole in her heart" where she endured the agonies of the people she sang for, but that was partially mended by finding love in her mate ShadowKnight DarkBane. Now that ShadowKnight is gone, Echo's heart-hole seems to have expanded, and she wanders aimlessly, having nothing but her music to keep her going. She is extremely compassionate, understanding, and kind, almost to a fault. She is also something of a pacifist.
Magic: Chief Element / Gift: Music
Spells:
Empathy: Echo can sing others' pain away, healing them from their troubles, but must in return bear the others' agony herself. Thus, she is sometimes known as the Keeper of Sorrows, for their pain is transferred to her. Her healing is more on a psychological level than a physical level, but is nevertheless just as effective -- in some cases, even more so. (Note: this is her one Gift, as an Astran. But the other two "spells" are simply side effects of this power.)
Peacebringing: When Echo sings on her own, without any particular one target, anyone and anything that hears her benefits from it. Plants perk up, animals become more carefree and happy, and everything in her immediate vicinity seems at peace.
Pain Return: A not-very-explored branch of Echo's ability. If she lets the pain and anger of her own heart overwhelm her, she can throw that agony onto someone else with an irate burst of song. Unexpected, it can be dangerous; the person who receives all that psychological pain will most likely be overwhelmed and distracted. But Echo never wants to hurt anyone, so she does not realize how much potential for damage she has.
Skills: Well, she's a darned good singer. Nature loves it.

Age: Around 5 years old
Echo was born in Shinkou, the sister of Novawing. She has not had a very adventurous life, but she was always there during battles and fights to heal the combatants' physical and mental pain. She was once called the Keeper of Sorrows by someone unknown, and the name has stuck somewhat. She met a wolf named ShadowKnight, who would become her beloved mate. But he has since died of an unfortunate disease. Struck with grief, Echo still sings for him, though she still hopes that someone like him with come and fill her poor heart with love again.
Recently, during an attack of the mountain-demons, Echo has become acquainted with Oblivionic, Akeru's Gamma Male. While spending a night together, they both witnessed the crashing of a great meteorite in the Asanagi Ocean. This meteorite bore two strange wolf-like creatures: aliens from a distant galaxy, called Glaezestern.
Beyond that, Echo has been supporting her sister, Novawing. Now that Nova is the Alpha Female, Echo is certain that her sister will need her and her talents more than ever. Echo has also mourned the departure of Oblivionic, though they were never officially mates. But she is intrigued by Exodus, a strong, dark creature with a bloody past. Oooh, what might go on there...
