Appearance: Fairly standard-sized she-wolf with bright red fur, fiery orange eyes, no wings. She has an alternate human form which she acquired in the Dream-Realm, but she can only transform if the need is dire (so far she has only had to do so once). But as a human/anthro/whatever, she has slightly tanned skin, orange eyes, red-orange hair, and she's wearing a brown-red huntress's outfit. Her weapon of choice is a long, coiling whip made of fire. The features that distinguish her from a true human are the bright red wolf-ears in her hair, and her long, curled nails like wolven claws.

Magic: Chief Element: Fire

Spells:

Flame Spikes: The ability to grow flaming spikes all over her body and fire them off at enemies. She doesn't have much control over where they go, however, so anyone in the vicinity should take cover.

Burning Touch: The ability to burn, melt, disintegrate, or boil anything at her touch. It takes a long time and a lot of energy to warm up, though.

Fireself: When she's really pissed off, Solarfyre can become pure fire. She's more vulnerable in this state—a dip in the ocean would kill her—but short of that, she can kick some real ass. This is her ultimate ability and she'll only use it if she's truly furious; it's hard for her to revert back to normal form.

Personality: Kind of sarcastic and snappish, especially to those she doesn't like; she used to be a lone wolf, so excuse her if she's rude, she never learned proper manners; she's got a fiery determined spirit, ready and willing to fight, all that jazz. But there is a softer side to her: she is utterly and completely in love with her mate Shawn, and has that same love for her children, Shaoki and Ember. She even had a strange, sorrowful affection for the angel-creation Astarael, whom Ghost both created and destroyed with Sol's blood. By the same token, she can hate: she totally abhors Loki and Ghost, for instance. To the random stranger, she's standoffish and aloof, not betraying the passion she can feel.

History: She was a lone wolf for a while 'til she stumbled onto Shinkou Ookami, where she was greeted by a conceited prig. So she got off on a bad start to living the life of a pack wolf, but that was smoothed over when she met good ol' Shawn. They fell in love, mated, it was cute, but then they began to run into troubles in their relationship: mainly, Loki, the demon who occasionally possesses Shawn's body. So they had a couple of adventures with him, and they fought in the war against Giaku, and other such "bonding" activities.

But then Sol suddenly became the victim of Amnesia, who's not very nice, and so she and Shawn started running away from Amnesia. They fled to this weird place called the dream world. Then Shawn realized that he didn't want to be Beta anymore, so they came back to SO and chose Metalvash to take his place. And then Shawn got killed by Ghost, Solarfyre was frickin' PISSED, she went to avenge her mate's death, stuff happened...but Shawn was able to be restored to life thanks to Loki's sacrifice, and they were able to settle down somewhat and start raising a family.

Now Sol is the proud mother of Shaoki, who shows all the promise of taking back his father's former Beta status, but who unfortunately has inherited Loki as well; and of Ember, who is not quite as blessed as her brother, but is showing promise of having some real solid spunk behind her somewhat nervous surface. Sol loves them both equally and without hesitation and would easily die for either of them.

Unfortunately, as a family with such sordid ties to the past as they are, there's no way they can escape drama and danger...
