Long ago, the creatures of myth-the elves, and the elementals, and the vampires, and the werewolves, and the wizards, and the centaurs, and the mermaids, were all hated and feared by the humans. As the humans spread through out the land, it became clearer and clearer that the Earth was no longer a safe home for them. So, they joined their power together, and created an entirely new land for them to inhabit, seperate from the Earth. They called this new world Aquion, and sealed a magical barrier to keep the two apart.
Now, many hundreds of years later, the Earth is as much myth to the inhabitants as they are to the humans, the true history of their world believed to be naught but a legend. But the barrier has begun to weaken. Humans-called "crossers" by the locals-have begaun to find themselves in Aquion, with neither themselves or the locals having any idea of how they got there.
Many are friendly to these 'Crossers', as they have begun to call them. Some, however, are not, choosing to outcast them. Either way, with no way to return home, the crossers must find a new life in Aquion and adjust to living in a entirely new world.
