Appearance: Her main form is a cute little mockingbird: her body has gray-silver feathers, her wings and mostly black with some white, and her black forked tail sticks out behind her. Something like:
Magic: She can change into any animal, real or imaginary, and retain their abilities too—but she is always the same size. If she becomes, say, an ant, she will be a rather large, mockingbird-sized ant; if she becomes an elephant, she will be a tiny, mockingbird-sized elephant. Still, this is a pretty potent ability, since she retains all the natural skills and instincts of that other form. Her favorite alternate form is the dragon (yes, mythological creatures are included). One drawback is that she cannot become a human and she cannot speak in any of her forms (unless she becomes a parrot or myna or any other animal that can imitate human speech).
Personality: She's a mischievous creature, very clever and adventurous. She'll stick by December, her half-human, half-seraph companion, through thick and thin. She's wily and intelligent, but she loves to take risks and pull pranks on people. Some find her irritating, others irresistible.
History: All mockingbirds from the Dream-Realm have her ability to transform, but remain the same size. What makes Imi special is that she is the first mockingbird to venture forth from the Dream-Realm to the mortal realm. She met December in the Dream-Realm after a ferocious fight with a chameleon, which Imi barely won. December named her and invited her to travel with her, and Imi excitedly went along. While December was a mercenary, serving in a war, Imi sometimes went to battle with her (usually in her protective and powerful dragon-form), but most of the time stayed behind. Imi has stayed by December as long as they've known each other; they're completely inseparable.
