Name: Reisha Rage
(Nickname- Ray)
Gender: Female
Race: Wolf
Sub-race: N/A
Breed: Timber (Berserk Wolf Lineage)
Pack: Akeru
Rank: Roan
Appearance:
Reisha's fur is a mixture of rusty red and orange all over, becoming a more solid rust as it moves up to her back and face. The lower areas of all four paws and beneath her tail are speckled white, with a small fringe of the same coloring along her lips. Covering the top part of her head is a silver colored, metallic forehead plate, strange because it is the only piece of armor that she wears. The edges curve around her eyes and ears, leaving enough room for mobility and does not hinder her sight. Traditional to her pack's heritage, there is an area of fur just beneath her left eye that is marked in red, stained into the fur through a process known only by her family. Reisha's mark is similar to her brothers', a single line that runs along the bottom of her eye and ends at a point above her muzzle. There are three smaller slashes spread out behind that one.
Personality:
Reisha's way of thinking tends to throw others for a loop as her carefree and innocence about the world is unusual for a wolf of her age. She is curious about the things she does not understand and anyone unfortunate enough to be within range will find themselves bombarded by her endless questions. She enjoys meeting others and is enthusiastic about making lasting friendships. She lacks greatly in any form of common sense but has a good memory, though she does tend to remember the most unusual and random tidbits of information. She idolizes her father and tends to bring him up constantly in conversation, mainly referencing back to bits of wisdom, albeit strange, that he had often preached to her.
Magic: Berserk
-Spells:
Berserker- A trait passed on through the Berserker wolves' lineage, it is a loss of sense and self being as Reisha literally goes berserk. It is almost like her mind goes into momentary hibernation, leaving only the instincts to kill, fight and survive. Rational judgments are erased and the body simply becomes a whirlwind of instincts. Berserker wolves never remember what goes on while experiencing this rage and pain or wounds inflicted during the experience will only register after the Berserker state fades. Wounds however, are twice as painful when it is over because of the sudden realization of the mind that they've been wounded. It is not unusual for Berserker wolves to go into shock once the state of mindlessness has been severed.
Biography:
Reisha was born to a small, nomadic pack far to the west that consisted mainly of her parents, brothers and a few other close relatives. Out of seven siblings, Reisha was the only female born but was raised as a fighter same as all of her brothers. This training was helped by the fact that her family, even through previous generations, do not see females to be any different from males aside from the fact that they have the possibility to give birth. Berserk wolves, as they have been called over the centuries by those who have witnessed their berserker ways of fighting, live mostly peaceful and carefree lives as long as participation in battle is not necessary. The Berserker clan never saw any reason to fight other creatures, unless it was to hunt down prey for their next meal.
In the past, Berserk wolves had often been sought for their strength and unique fighting skills and were recruited as a type of mercenary. Around Reisha's generation, this practice had long been abolished and the Berserk clan preferred the idea of carrying out the rest of their days without battle. However, around when Reisha reached the age of one year, they were approached by a dragon who was intrigued by their history and berserker means of fighting. Selrein offered them a permanent home in her own territory on the condition that they help to guard her lands. Interested in the idea of relinquishing their nomadic ways, the Berserker wolves agreed and for a time lived happily on a land for once that they could call their home.
Only a few years had passed before Selrein became greedy, acting not as a dragon should, she sought out the treasures and territories of her own species, creating chaos with thievery and territory disputes. Conflict between the Berserker wolves arose when the family's ideals became divided between their loyalty to Selrein and their home. The dragons who had become victims of Selrein's treachery blamed the Berserker wolves for their influence because of the clan's bloody past. Tempers began to rise and eventually snapped when one of the Berserk wolves, through Selrein's provocation, attacked one of the accusing dragons. This eruption brought on more fierce disagreements between the wolves and dragons and even between the Berserker clan itself. As the anger peaked, the Berserker wolves finally separated and disappeared when a bloody dispute broke out between one of the elders and younger members. With the dragons and Selrein hovering over their shoulders and the conflicts among their own family, the Berserker wolves separated and fled the land they had finally been able to call home. Reisha, in the midst of fear and confusion, became lost to her family and could only wonder where on earth they were.
Some years passed before Reisha, traveling across the dry, barren lands of the Hiagaru wastes, finally found her place in the large family of Akeru; where despite her unknown past and lineage she could hope to become happy and live carefree.
