Name: Kyaneos Other names: Neo, Secret Deathbringer God of: Poison and toxins Abilities: He is the one who taints herbs to bring them a poisonous and toxic bite. He is also the one that gave some such creatures the ability to poison others, for he is the father of the Poison spirits that one can absorb and harness the magik of. Personality: Being the malicious father of poison, he is cold and unforgiving. He is the friend to a murderer and a teacher to a herbalist or healer. He is quiet for the most part, stalking those doomed for death by poison and watching them slowly agonize due to his father, the God of Agony. Appearance: Kyaneos is a large wolf, black in color with long flowing green markings that look like that of veins on his pelt. He has large teeth that drip with a green acidic looking substance and the same holds true for his sharp claws. His eyes are a fierce dark blue color and it matches the likes of the contents in the vial around his neck. Story: Born long ago from the mating of the Goddess of Sorrow and his father, Agony, Kyaneos was full grown in only an hour. But as he played for an hour as a pup, he tained the plants and animals with the touch of his paw or nose, and so became the poisonous and toxic plants and animals of the world.
He quickly became friends to murderers, offering them an easier way to kill those they wanted dead and so came his fathers idea to make the poisons and toxins agonizing to the victim. Later those who sought his knowledge on poisonous herbs and what not came to him to attain his knowledge and they then passed it on to their young. Misc: Often in hopes of gaining Kyaneos' knowledge, people will crush bitter almonds and spread them around their home, for the smell attracts him since it smells of cyanide. Those that wish to ward him off often will spread salt if they fear poisoning.

The gods of Envy, Beauty, the Sea, and the Moon have been deleted and are now free for grabs. They were deleted due to failure to write information on them. Sorry Kiroro Dx The god of Light and Good Will has been deleted due to lack of completion... sorry Redwolf ): Light and Good Will is now up for grabs! (Light and Goodwill go together, think of holy powers and not actual light as in the sun) Chaos & Discord has been deleted due to lack of completion. Sorry Twilly! >< Chaos and Discord are now up for grabs. Mischief has been deleted due to lack of completion. Sorry Monkey! ): Mischief is free for grabs. I will be deleting more if people don't finish their Gods. Dx Sorry but... I'd like to get this done. I understand people are busy, but it's been months and months since this has been up. For those that lost their gods MAY claim them back if nobody else has claimed them after deletion, but only if they haven't been claimed yet. IMPORTANT NOTE-- If you haven't made a profile for the God yet (example, if you just say you claim a god but don't set up a profile for it), you automatically lose claim over said god. You can claim it back by making a profile for it. Also I'd like to add that soon I will make a type of Wiki for all the gods.

NEW RULE!
Since creating Gods is going kind of slowly, instead of making four gods, you guys can go ahead and make FIVE TOTAL. I might up it more if it continues to go slowly. I'd like to have all the gods finished by September 30th if possible. Have fun!

I'm calling Light and Goodwill, Wisdom/Strategy/Knowledge, and Envy! =)
Name: Aila Other names: Orfae God of: Light and Goodwill Abilities: She brings light in a darkened place and with her presence, creatures will feel hopeful and happy. Also, she is the bringer of good things, not fortune or luck, which comes by chance, but rather the simple or grand things which individuals might work for and earn. Personality: Aila is an optimistic goddess, believing in the good in most creatures. She is often understanding and helpful, though she favors those with an honest and hardworking heart rather than lazy creatures. She helps those who are willing to help themselves. She is eager to offer a hand to those who have a good heart and are simply lost and seeking the way to go, and is encouraging. Appearance: She is said to be one of various animals somewhat humanoid shaped with angelic features. She has a lioness' face and body with a long, peacock-like tail. Her limbs have both golden fur and feathers and extend to human-like hands. She has brilliant golden feathers across her body that grow paler to stark white as they fan along her large wings. She has soft eyes, a creamy color and seems to emanate a certain glow. Story: In the beginning, Etanus created her for the sake of those lost whether in literal or figurative darkness. He sent her so that when she spreads her wings and flies, she will shine light for those lost to follow or to reward those who work for a goal. Misc: It is said that if one is lost in the dark, such as a deep cave or other such area, they can call her name and she will appear to guide them out.
Name: Ganesh Other names: The Great Owl, Sage God of: Wisdom, Strategy, and Knowledge Abilities: He can give someone insight or direction and also grant a greater span of knowledge/wisdom in order to enhance someone's mind. Personality: He is a rather reserved god, in some ways believing himself to be superior to others though also rather helpful to seekers of knowledge. He is not one to go out of his way or on his own accord to find others, but prefers they come to him. Nevertheless, for those who find him and are found worthy, he has been said to give them much. Appearance: Said to take the form of an owl, he has brown feathers, rimmed in a silvery color. He has large purple eyes, deep and knowing. Story: In the early days, Etanus felt he needed someone he might discuss things with and thus made from one of his feathers, Ganesh, a wise and knowledgeable owl. At first, they spent much time talking and learning from each other, Ganesh often giving Etanus new ideas for things to create or suggestions of possible things to happen in the world. However, one day, Ganesh was flying and discovered he could also grant knowledge and wisdom to others and help different races progress and grow. At times, he will go on such flights in order to advance the world, but he still spends much of his time with Etanus. Misc: Creatures will often burn various types of herbs in his honor and in hopes of finding him or drawing him near. Also, it is said that when he flies, should one of his feathers fall over your head, or you catch one, you will be granted knowledge and learning in some way.
Name: Jadeth Other names: Jade, Green Monster Goddess of: Envy Abilities: To create feelings of envy within creatures toward others. She is known to pit creatures against each other and create destructive results. Personality: True to her reign, she is an envious goddess, easily angered over petty or greater things and also unforgiving. She is a seductress, often pulling others into her lull of promises in order to destroy them for whatever they might have. She is selfish and unsatisfied, always wishing for more no matter what she has. Other gods have sometimes made deals with her for aid in something which they ended up regretting. She will aid as long as she sees fit or amusing, and then will seek to destroy the other and have all the gain for herself. Appearance: She is said to be a shapeshifter, taking on the form of different reptilian creatures, sometimes a dragon, sometimes a large lizzard, and sometimes a great serpent. Also, she can take on the form of a human with scales running along her body. On some occassions, she can take on other forms, such as a wolf, though these are quite rare. Most often, she prefers the form of the dragon. In whatever form she takes, she is black with streaks of green down her body. She has pupilless green eyes and other various green markings. Also, her tongue is green. Story: Originally, Jadeth was somewhat of a peaceful goddess, created in the beginning by Etanus as a goddess of equality and justice. However, she fell madly in love with Leviathon, the sea god, and after being first rejected, she grew insanely jealous when he then turned to Tallara, goddess of rain, and expressed a certain love for her and even became mated with her. Thus, Jadeth changed and rather than working for equality, she worked for only self gain in the balance. At first, she tried to break Leviathon and Tallara apart, but when that failed, she set to the creatures of the world, spreading envy wherever she felt creatures lost something or did not have something they wanted. Misc: It is said that when one feels gloom or other negative feelings during the rain, Jadeth is near.

NOTICE: I'm compiling a kind of wiki for all of the gods currently made. If you do not provide enough information, or have not provided much information yet (unless they were made recently then I'll leave them alone), I'm going to make up some information for you (for example, the history of the gods, and how they were created by Etanus, because he created all the gods). If you don't want me doing that, please let me know!
Also I want to let everyone know that with some, I'm copy/pasting the information. With others, I'm rewriting, but please don't take offense to that! I'm rewriting it to better fit the standards of which I'm compiling the information.

EDITED.
Name: Xixho (Pronounced shee-shoh)
Other names: God of Rage, The Mad and Blind, The Blur, The Whisperer
God of: Wrath
Abilities: Xixho visits the homes of the weak and the wounded, the hallowed ground of the recently-fallen, stands by the sides of the betrayed, the heart-broken, the lonely. With naught but a suggestive, angry whisper, he can sway even the most good-willed of creatures to seek destruction in some form or fashion. It is said that Xixho leaves a definitive layer of blue and purple mesh and lace over the eyes and ears of the affected mortal. This cloth--the Veil of the Enraged--is said to be one of the most stubborn "curses" to ever afflict the world. Good-willed creatures can attempt to fight this "curse" off of their companions by shaking them with the phrase "Close your eyes to the Veil, rip the cloth, return to me!", but success is never guaranteed.
Personality: When first seen, he is quiet and calculating. Always offended, always on guard. As he continues to speak to those subject to becoming Enraged, his voice will grow into an irritated, vengeful growl, the insanity of his own Wrath enveloping him. He takes joy in watching as those around him drown in Wrath along with him, and mourns those who refuse his company. He normally calls his victims "The Drowning" and takes pride whenever he speaks of them as his army to "rid the land of offenses great and small."
Appearance: Normally seen as a cowering wolverine, small and young, its tail normally tucked between its legs, its head held low. Its volumnous pelt is a deep purple with ever-flowing highlights of blue--it gives the illusion of a thick muck writhing and boiling over Xixho's body. The entirety of his eyes are a bright, raging green, hollow and unforgiving, saddened yet angry. His claws are long and a bright silver, normally seen digging themselves into whatever surface he decides to stand upon. His teeth--also silver--are normally seen when he speaks, as he always speaks through gritted, grinding teeth (in his teeth, he is seen holding his new Veil for the afflicted being). His tail is wrapped tightly in the blue and purple mesh-and-lace, as are his ears and his legs. His eyes are covered by small amounts of the cloth. Xixho normally shakes all over, his rage shaking the flora he stands among, the ground he stands upon. His shaking is so violent that, most times, he is seen as naught but a blur. His voice shudders as anyone overcome with anger would sound. His voice is that of the many souls still bound under his Veils, distorted and frightening, almost insane, but speaking as one unit.
Story: (Work In Progress)
Misc: Many claim that if you call Xixho's name five times while standing alone in the dark with an Enraged victim, he will appear from the depths of the darkness to heed your call. He is known to stand at a distance from the one who summons him, sizing up the situation before him before venturing out any farther. One can request their afflicted companions to be relieved of their Veils, however Xixho is a stubborn character, taking joy in watching others suffer. Be forewarned that if you lose your temper with the Mad and Blind, he may see an opportunity to shackle you underneath your very own Veil.

Name: Leviathon Other names: Oceanis, Poseidon, Big Blue God of: The Sea Abilities: Levi's main purpose is to protect the sea, no matter the cost. He controls the multitude of currents beneath the surface of the sea, can create any size of whirl pools and/or waves, controls the populations of all ocean-dwellers, and may create and call sea creatures to do his bidding. He is also able to create tsunamis from the great reaches of his home, although this may only happen when he is made very angry for any reason. Personality: Leviathon is usually always in a state of some kind of bliss. He's very calm most of the time and mostly minds his own business, preferring to spend 90% of his time in the seas he calls home. However, Levi's moods are not easily foreshadowed, and if anything were to cause his temper to rise... The sea is always unpredictable. Appearance: Leviathon may take the form of any ocean-dwelling beast, but can usually be seen as a Great White Shark with unusual red double-stripe markings from the corners of his large mouth, along his sides, and to the tip of his tail fin. If not, he will normally take the form of the great and majestic Blue whale, the largest animal on the planet. His true form in which he spends the other 10% of the time, he may take to the sky or sea as a bluish-purple dragon with wings that link to his tail and serve as fins as well as four legs with webbed feet. Since dragons are so uncommon these days, Levi only takes this form when he seeks time out of the sea- which is never very often or for very long- and stays on an uninhabited island whose location only he is aware of amidst one of the vast oceans. He may also take this form to meet or convene with the other gods/goddesses.
Story: WIP Misc: Levi's body was made mostly for the sea, and although he is able to fly, he cannot take to the sky for very long distances.
Name: Tallara Other names: Tally, Rain Goddess Goddess of: The Rain Abilities: Can create rain and/or storms and release water from the heavens to replenish the earth and its water sources, especially the sea, so that all of the world's occupants may receive its nourishment. In anger of the land being abused, she may call upon Seranthia to create a great storm such as a hurricane, from her mate's home. If conditions are right, she may turn her rain to hail. She may also cause floods, or even keep rain from falling for any period of time. Often times the amount of rainfall may be directly related to an intense emotion, ie: if she undergoes a prolonged period of sadness, a flood may occur. Personality: Tally is a very generous and caring goddess. Her moods often depend on how much the land requires her gift, although it is argued that they are more correlated to the seasons. Mostly, Tally stays happy so long as the earth is hydrated. During Autumn and Winter, Tally sheds less rain from the sky and prefers to stay near her mate, Leviathon. She may surface time and again to check on the wildlife and vegetation, but during those months, her heart belongs to the sea. Appearance: Tallara is most commonly seen as a pure white bottlenose dolphin, as she does spend as much time as she can in the sea with Leviathon. Her original chosen form, is that of a white hawk.
Story: Ages ago, when a severe drought claimed 75% of the world's vegetation and evaporated much of its water sources, thus claiming many creatures' lives, Etanus created a goddess with two drops of his own blood to control the rain. And so Tallara was born. She has provided the great gift of rain ever since. Naturally, Tallara has a love of water and, as keeping water levels relatively high is one of her priorities, she was bound to love the vast oceans of the world. As often as her limitless time would allow, she would use her purpose as an excuse to fly over or swim in its glorious waters. So, it was inevitable that she should come across the great sea god, Leviathon. It did not take long thereafter for some deeper emotion to spark up between them, and even when their bond was tried by the goddess of equality and justice, Jadeth, it proved its strength. The other goddess had professed her love for the majestic Leviathon, but when he still returned to her, she knew there would never be another to claim her heart. And so, they were mated soon after. Misc: ??
Name: Avarethe Other names: Ava, The Great Healer Goddess of: Good Health and Healing Abilities: Avarethe watches over the good health of all living beings and has power over the healing and betterness of any injury or sickness without prejudice. She does not have the power to take away any terminal diseases, and she may not be able to save a life of any fatal casualty, for the latter usually has everything to do with the will of the injured; She cannot save one that does not want to be saved. Personality: Avarethe is a very peaceful sort and generous beyond imagining. She is quick to give free of herself so that others may live happy and healthy, though how they treat their bodies afterward is their own choice. However, should anyone abuse her generosity too much, she will not take it lightly and may choose to hold back in the future with said abuser. Appearance: Always takes the form of a clouded leopard.
Story: WIP (help?) Misc: ??

I place my claim : D Name: Sumaria (Su-ma-ria)
Other names: Fall, Fay
Goddess of: Harvest
Abilities: With the proper tribute, as well as adequate care and attention given to the earth, Sumaria can and will ensure a good harvest. Some say that if you stay up late enough and look out over a flat plain under a harvest moon, you can see the figure of a woman dancing around, or little sparkles of orange light that trail over the horizon. This is Sumaria blessing the stores of all creatures with her special soil which she cultivates herself. She also has the ability to aide the gently changing of the seasons from summer to fall to winter, as well shape-shift.
Personality: Sumaria is a neutral being. She is neither Excessively kind, nor overly vengeful. She has, at times, been mistaken for an Earth Goddess, and at those times, she has a tendency to become angered. She is strong willed and despises being mistaken or confused with other deities. So long as those who believe in her are respectful and give the earth what it needs, she will bless them. If they do not, she will pass over their caches and let the elements wither them away, if they so will it.
Appearance: Sumaria does no have a single form, as there are many forms of harvest, although she is commonly represented in stories by an acorn, or an ancient oak tree laden with nuts and fruits that, even in darkness, gives off an aura of orange, gold, and yellow light. This form of Sumaria is said to be upon an hill far from mortal reach. Her trunk is supposed to be so big around, it would take twenty minutes just to walk around it, and so tall that she breaches the heavens and that is where some of the gods get their food from.
One other form of this Goddess is said to be a fairy. She can be either very small, easily mistaken for a butterfly, or the size of a human woman. Her hair is a deep black, as are her wings, but with orange ends. Upon her head there is a wreath of autumn ripened grains, and her dress is of splendid red satin.
Story: Long ago, the Goddess Mitanee discovered she could make a gradual change to the weather. In doing so, she created the season know as Fall, or Autumn. Soon after this, Sumaria was born from an acorn that had grown to maturity in the new season. The acorn cracked open to reveal a slumbering little fairy. She was found there by Mitaniee soon after, and taken into her care. The dragon let Sumaria help in the turning of the season, in that she would watch over the food stores of all the creatures who put away sustenance for winters long, harsh bite, or even for short term storage.
Misc: The acorn from which she was born is also the acorn from which her tree form grew from. To those who wish to have their food stores kept safe and/or blessed by Sumaria, they will give offerings of various fruits and nuts such as apples and acorns.
One legend says that if a mortal were to find Sumaria's tree, and take a leaf or acorn from it, they would be able store anything for however long they had it, but they must have the momento on them always. One other legend says that the only way to kill her is to cut down her tree.

Mitaniee the Dragon is goddess of Autumn. n.n
I haven't read all the new ones yet, but I noticed that for the god of the Cosmos... We already have a god of the stars, and keep in mind that Etanus is the supreme god and creator of all things. He could have made the Cosmos god to make the planets and the space, but the stars belong to that one goddess... I forgot the names, sorry Dx
But I am enjoying what I've read so far! n_n Keep it up!

So...Wait...then what is the god of Space/Cosmos in charge of, if he can't be in charge of the stars...? I thought the cosmos included...
With all due respect, I think there are so many gods right now that it's conflicting a lot of things together. Why not have just one god for the cosmos, one for the sky, etc.? It makes it too difficult to remember that this god ONLY controls planets and this god ONLY controls stars. Why can't they control them all?
Not trying to cause problems, just...trying to make sense of all of this. It's kind of much...

Because even in Greek mythology there are gods that co-exsist too. For example: you have Aurora the goddess of the dawn then you have Apollo the god of the sun. Etc. If you hve a problem with it, pick a new god. Simple as that. She was only pointing out that someone has already claimed the Stars already. And besides, if we limited it down to one god ruling over something in its entirity then there wouldn't be many gods to pass around.
With all due respect, if you don't want to participate then you don't have to. This is a fun activity meant for ALL members, not just those who feel they are privileged to it.

I'm going to be a stick in the mud and point out that according to the Etanus origin story there's only one planet. xD Cause unless the wolves have telescopes and can see the other planets over vast distances, they don't know enough to create a god of planets. Maybe of vast space, but that kinda ties in with the night sky from their limited view.
