Appearance: At 3'8", Kruor doesn't seem to be too imposing—at least not compared to a number of wolves walking around. Certainly he's not as big and massive as Goth. And indeed, his body is more streamlined and toned rather than purely muscled; Kruor relies more on agility than strength, although he has plenty of that too. He is pure black, from the tips of his ears to the tip of his tail and including the large, imposing bat wings that he sports. His eyes are deep blue, which is the only trait he has received from his mother. He is dark enough that he can easily melt into the shadows. Sakky's drawing, the inspiration <3
Magic: Chief Element: Sound/Sonar
-Spells: Echolocation: Kruor can subtly shift his body so that his hearing is far more advanced, although his sight is much dimmed. Then, like a bat or a dolphin, he can beam virtually silent (very high frequency) sounds against objects. This will give him a rough picture of what the area looks like around him due to the distance of the objects that the sound bounces off of. This is useful for when there is very little light around or in a fight; Kru can better predict what his opponent might do with echolocation rather than plain sight.
Surround: Kruor can take all the sounds in a given area, condense them, amplify them, and fling them at his opponent. This might throw his opponent off or even drive them crazy. If he focuses really hard, he can make the sound so amplified that it could destroy someone's eardrums. In any case, he will often use this ability to overwhelm someone, distracting them while he attacks. Kruor can also take sound and form it into a bubble around himself and maybe one or two others; if anyone come close, they will hear nothing but a loud buzz or boom and have difficulty concentrating. The closer they get, the more likely their ears will bleed.
Deadly Pitch: Kruor's most powerful spell and one he cannot afford to use often. It requires him transforming into a bat-like creature, or shrinking down to almost complete physical vulnerability. In this form, he can emit a pitch so high in frequency and so piercing that it could literally make one's brain explode if they are exposed to it for too long. It can be weakening even if you only listen to it for a short amount of time. This takes all of Kruor's mental concentration and physical energy, so he literally has to stay in one place the entire time. Obviously, then, anyone can take him out. But it is difficult to concentrate, for the sound is so loud that blood will seep out of every pore—even eyeballs.
Skills: Kruor may not look like the most imposing opponent, but he is not to be underestimated. Like a fox, he is quick and agile. His dark coat makes it easier for him to hide and be stealthy as well. Beyond that, he is nimble and hard to catch in a fight. If you can land a blow, make it a good one, because you might not get very many other chances to actually get him again. He's a decent flier too, though he claims it takes more effort than it's really worth.
Personality: He has a rebellious attitude, something you would expect from a teenager. He was raised for vengeance but isn't really cut out for that much hardcore feeling. Kruor is more of an apathetic sort, although he's totally into fights. He can't get motivated enough to fight in a battle alongside others, but he will duel others over and over again to improve himself. He went through a "Robin Hood" phase, beating up the bullies of the animal world to protect the weak, but it was more because he wanted to and to prove that he could. But all of this apathy could be an act in order to hide true emotions. He likes to keep himself mysterious, though more to tick people off and keep them wondering. If anything, Kruor loves to make a lasting impression on as many people in the world as he can. He has yet to find passion, something or someone he can commit himself to completely. And as of now...he's okay with that.
History: An abbreviated history...may fill out more later. Kruor was born to a she-wolf named Icecrystal who had been a loner. She had briefly traveled with a demonic wolf she knew as "The Dark Soldier" for protection. He was a very moody sort and they never did get along much, but one night he was feeling...reproductive. Icecrystal welcomed the temporary company and not much long after, the Dark Soldier left her, disgusted with the closeness he had allowed himself.
Unfortunately, Icecrystal became pregnant from this one union and the result of that was Kruor. To her further disappointment, he looked exactly like his father, except for her own eyes. She bred him to hate his father and to one day take revenge on him, but she was so harsh and rough a mother that Kruor ended up hating her too. He imagined that his father had to be a pretty cool guy, the opposite of everything Icecrystal told him. One day, Kruor was kidnapped by a bunch of icky demons. He fought his way out of them and decided he really liked kicking other people's butts. So he never went back to his mother, never even knew if she lived or died.
He wandered the world, improving his fighting skills, and sort of looking for his father, but he wasn't too pressed to. He lasted through four centuries this way, glad that he at least had inherited his father's Mutatio ability to be reborn. Further details of his adventures may be added later...as stated before, he went through a "beat up the strong, protect the weak" phase. And just now he is ending up in the Shinkou territories, though he's not sure if he wants to commit to join the pack, long-lost father or not.
