Name: Lloyd William von Blucher
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Rank: N/A
Appearance:
Lloyd, for a human, stands out in a crowd... Along with him being about 6' 5" Lloyd has silver-white hair. His face is almost perfectly shaped almost as if cast that way and his haunting blue eyes belay a sense of brilliance, lone-wolfish (no pun intended), haunted, and sadness. Lloyd’s physical features are truly interesting. His body is well built and lean, but not overly so. He looks to be a runner mostly. His arms are muscular and smooth. His hands are powerful but at the same time soft and relaxed.
On his body, Lloyd weirs gray faded jeans and shin-guards, much like those of a knight. His hands are gauntleted with fingerless gloves, reinforced with metal. On his chest is a sort of tabard under a lightened breastplate. Around his shoulders and down his back is a tattered black cloak, torn slightly and faded in a few spots. On both of his shoulders are gold-carved shoulder guards. Combat boots adorn his feet and a hood, connected to the cloak rests on his head.
Personality:
Lloyd's personality is very contradictory to his appearance. Although he looks forboding because of his height and his clothes, Lloyd is cocky, brilliant and fun to be around. He has a warped sense of humor that an insane person would have (but hey, who isn't insane these days?) but at the same time a darker side. Lloyd has suffered probably the most traumatic losses that any one person could have suffered... the loss of his parents and his brothers. (I'll get into the history of this in the bio)
Lloyd his very intelligent, although he does associate himself with those less fortunate then him, mentally wise that is. He enjoys explaining things to people and especially enjoys the reactions of people after an detailed explanation of his... he also enjoys watching people struggle trying to figure out what he has said... Lloyd loves to hang out, talk with friends, read, swordfight, and over all... sleep. Other then these things, Lloyd prefers being by himself and locks himself away in a library for hours even days at a time, only coming out to alleviate himself and to eat.
Note please:
Lloyd carries a longsword/broadsword hybrid with him at all times. He never really trusts many people and prefers to have something to defend himself with.
Magic: Dark
(Read history for explanation for spells. Please tell me if you want me to fix/get rid of them/ or ask questions about the history. Thanks!)
For the most part, Lloyd has repercussions for his abilities. Also, Lloyd uses portals between the worlds (as you will read in the Bio about them) and takes and manipulates the energy of the Dark World, called Nul energy, and uses it to either attack, defend or support.
-Spells:
Dark World Spear-Rain: Lloyd portals into the Dark World and using the Nul energies around him, channels it around him. Reaching out, Lloyd grasps the Nul energy and forms it into a solid spear. Once his creates the spear, he releases it into the air, which it then floats around him like a shield, for the time being. Lloyd repeatedly creates Dark Energy spears (normally about 30 of them). Once the final one has been made, Lloyd creates a spherical portal in front of him. He then positions the spears around the portal and fires them through it. Once a spear has passed through the portal, Lloyd opens another portal, somewhere around his target in the Light World and has it spear it. He fires the spears very quickly making a pincushion out of the target. The downside to this is that if the target is quick enough, they can dodge the attack. Also, this is physically tiring for Lloyd to do.
Death's Head: Lloyd opens a portal and steps through it, but doesn't close it all the way. Lloyd channels energy around him and fires it in a concentrated mass towards the portal. Once it hits the portal, the portal begins to open wider. The energy takes shape into that of a gigantic fanged skull with tears of fire running out of its empty eyes. The mouth opens and a terrible scream echos up. The head moves forward and closes on the target. Once it is over them, the mouth clamps down on the target and explodes in a fireball of light. The target can easily survive this but the fear factor is titanic. The heat from the fire also hurts the target as well as the jaws closing on them.
Skills: Lloyd has mastered many different sword fighting styles and techniques such as Hitenmitsirugi and Hitenmitsirugi Ryu style from feudal Japan. Also, Lloyd knows Knight's Templar fighting styles, swashbuckling, rapier fighting, and sub-divisions of these. Also, Lloyd uses a lot of Shadow Warrior abilities such as melding with shadows and moving silently.
Biography:
Early Life:
Lloyd William von Blucher was born into a family of four in the early 1200s A.D. A mother, a father and two brothers. Lloyd's father Friedrich Christopher von Blucher was a Knight for the local lord. In return for his support and protecting, the Von Blucher's were given a large estate and a large home. Lloyd's mother Margaret Deshaine Uldante von Blucher was or royal blood, but she never let anyone know. She was beautiful, smart and caring. She always took special care of her sons. Lloyd's brother's Francis and Archibald loved their little brother and played together in the wide expanses of the lawns on the estate. Lloyd's parents threw fancy parties and his uncle Eric William von Blucher often attended the parties. Whenever his uncle came to visit, Lloyd felt a particular attachment to him. His uncle was also a knight but never told Lloyd where and for who. It wasn't until a while after his early years that Lloyd found out the truth.
After seven years, when Lloyd was 8 years of age, His parents, his brothers, his uncle and himself were returning from a festival in the closest city, London. They road along on a country road in an ornate carriage and were driven by a team of six stallions. Lloyd and his brothers were all asleep while they road. Unbeknownst to them however, a gang of thieves and thugs were keeping a close eye on them and were following them back to their home. Once the family had returned to their mansion and fallen asleep in their beds, the gang forcibly entered the home and began looting. Lloyds father awoke and drew his sword. He fought valiantly, but in the end, fell to an underhanded trick pulled by one of the thugs. They stormed through the rest of the house, killing the servants and maids. Lloyd's mother was one of the ones who was though to be a maid and was slain as well. Lloyd's brothers woke and drew their rapiers, but fell to the hands of the thieves. They searched through the house for valuables and survivors, but found none. Lloyd's uncle, Eric, had quietly stolen away with Lloyd and fled the area.
The following information was passed to Lloyd in a effort to protect him until he was mature enough to accept it. Lloyd was told that his uncle was to train him for knighthood. He was to live with his uncle in the Irish highlands and was made to work, mentally and physically until he turned seventeen years old. All the while, Lloyd never knew the truth of his family's demise...
One day, during the summer of Lloyd's seventeenth year, his uncle came out of the small home that they shared and told him to sit down... Lloyd did, not understanding that this talk would change his life forever... Lloyd's uncle Eric told him that day of his knighthood. His uncle didn't serve a lord i na local area... in fact, he didn't serve a lord in this world. His lord was a close friend of his and he lived an opperated in another world entirely... Lloyd's uncle revealed to him that he was a kind of knight that survived the entirety of life, endlessly wandering around, fighting and defeating his foes. His uncle told Lloyd that he was a Dark Knight, an anciant sect of knights sword to defend both worlds, the Light World where they were now, and the long forgotten Dark World. After his dubious shock was over, Lloyd began to realize that his uncle was telling the truth. Lloyd begged to be told what happened to his parents... With a pained look in his eyes... Eric retold Lloyd about the tragic events that occured nine long years prior. Lloyd sat there listening, with tears in his eyes as his uncle told him of how his father fought valliantly, but fell to the theives.
Now that the truth was out in the air... Lloyd sat there, submerged in depression and anger... anger at those who took his parents from him. Anger at how his life was changed forever and anger at himself for not being there to help his father and mother... Lloyd's uncle placed a hand on his shoulder and led him into the house. There he told Lloyd the thing that broke him of his sadness... He told Lloyd that he had been training him for the entrance into the Dark Knights. Over the course of nine years, after elaborite swordfighing sessions and lessons in etiquette and inteligence, Lloyd had become stronger, swifter, smarter, and more powerful than anyone that Eric had seen.
Over the next few weeks, Lloyd and Eric scoured the land in search for the strongest metal. Lloyd had to have a sword that was a match for himself. Eric told Lloyd that a Dark Knight needed to have a sword in order to take the initiation tests. Along the way, Eric revealed to Lloyd that he had retired from the Dark Knights and that his father had been one as well. Lloyd vowed then and there that he would bring honor to his family name and would become the most powerful Dark Knight.
Returning with the materials, Lloyd and Eric forged Lloyd's sword, a Longsword broadsword cross. Eric enchanted it so that it would never dull and never bend, break or work for anyone else other then Lloyd. After the forging, Lloyd was lead to the Dark World where he was tested. He easily out matched the opponents and was initiated into the Dark Knights. After Lloyd had crossed the threshhold of the Dark Knight's castle, the same enchantments were cast over him giving him eternal life, except to fall in combat, and the ability to use magic.
After sixty years, Lloyd recrossed the threshhold of the castle and entered the Dark World a complete Dark Knight. He doned his trademark clothes and dedicated himself to completing his vows. Now with extensive knowledge of portaling, Lloyd can almost litterally be anwhere in the world's he wants to be at any given time, so catching him is fairly difficult.
Today:
Lloyd still travles around the different worlds, searching for ways to resolve conflicts and in general to bring honor to himself, the Dark Knights, and esspecially his family. Lloyd has gained extensive knowledge of Dark Magics. Although he is not a master, Lloyd can bend Darkness to his will, using defensive manuvers, or counter-offensive moves, supportive, or outright offensive moves against his foes.

Info on the Dark World:
In the Dark World, there are a lot of different races... Were-wolves, Vampires, a few demons, and a lot of fariy tale creatures. Imagine RL swapped with every fairy tale creature and the continents are different shapes. The level of technology in the Dakr World is the exact same as that of todays, and the same, more or less, ideas float around.
Also mentioned above: There are two types of energy in the worlds. Nul energy for the Dark World and Pos energy for the Light World.
