Indeed. The hairless apes were just trouble. Mainly because they seemed more inclined towards destruction then he did. Of course, not all were bad. The pups were just as innocent as Aiko was. He still remembered nearly destroying a human village, and then a small human girl trying to cuddle with him despite the yells of the humans pack dog and its parents. That alone had soothed Amatsu's rage. He did love children, and now that he wasn't part of Giaku, he had all the time in the world to play with his new daughter and Kyureki. He also had time to go see how his other children were faring.
"Demons huh... I wouldn't call the hairless apes demons Aiko.. Compared to your daddy, they're nothing but ants to be crushed.. But, I tire of this place as much as you do. Soooooooooo we'll be going now."
He said through another yawn. With that done, he moved over to the tree and carefully grabbed Aiko in his massive jaws before tossing her up a bit and making sure she landed on top of his head, softly on his wild mane. With that done, he motioned for Kyureki to follow him as he began to make his way out of the human lands.

Aiko took what Amatsu said to heart, and she smiled thinking of how they couldn't stand up to Amatsu, no, to her new father. Yes, she was finally starting to get used to calling Amatsu her father, though she knew that he wasn't her father by birth. Still, he was going to take care of her now, unlike her real dad, as her mom had told her that her father had ran off before she was born. He wouldn't run off, she hoped, and she would stay with him forever, because he was probably much stronger than any other wolf in the world. Or, at least, so she hoped, because she didn't want to lose yet another parent figure for a while at least.
Her mind was distracted as she felt him lift her delicately, his muzzle, and even the teeth inside, were much, much bigger than her. He threw her up in the air, where she fluttered for a moment before landing on his head, laughing because that was very fun. She wanted to do it again, but he started moving forward, and before she knew it, wind was flowing quickly past her as she watched the trees zoom by. Even though she knew he was probably walking, the sheer distance that each of his strides covered made it that much more amazing to her. She actually felt pride in calling him her dad, and as he walked on she tucked herself in deeper into his mane, feeling how warm and soft it was. She yawned, and let out a somewhat quiet, "Thank you daddy," before falling asleep once again.
Kyureki had been keeping pace with Amatsu, feeling like keeping her feet on the ground more right now because she had seen that many of the trees were spaced farther than she could swing herself. In addition, the humans probably would have been confused when they saw her, which could cause some of them to try to attack her considering her food. She had to run to keep up with him, but she didn't mind as she was well rested and she knew that he probably wouldn't want to be carrying both of them. Eventually she'd need to rest, though, as she still bore the curse of being so short.

Amatsu gave a soft chuckle at the thank you daddy she had uttered. Seemed like she was already thinking of him as her new dad. Well, he had adopted her. There were too many things that could happen to a lone pup. Amatsu would never be able to forgive himself if he had just left her where he found here and then heard that something had happened to her. She was a sweet kid, sweet and innocent.. Hopefully Amatsu could shield her from the harsh reality of the world for at least a little while. The large druin looked down at Kyureki as he tried to keep up. Seemed she was having trouble. With careful movements, Amatsu picked her up with his claw and placed her on his head with Aiko, putting her snuggled against the pup.
"There we go. Less taxing on ya this way."
He said with a soft laugh. Amatsu's stride may have been long, but for the most part he was the type to take things easy. So running wasn't going to happen. That, and his normal footsteps were loud enough. His running would just attract unwanted attention. The large druin soon came to a large tree, and beyond it nothing but forest. Seems they were coming out of the human lands.

Kyureki had been relieved that Amatsu had picked her up and put her on his head with Aiko so that she didn't have to keep running, but she couldn't help but wonder if they were at all heavy for him. Probably not, or else he wouldn't have picked them up, but it did still amaze her how much he had opened up for both of them. This definitely wasn't the same Amatsu that she had heard about in stories, he had changed, proof that what one was is but a choice they made. Who knows how far along the way it had happened, but it had indeed happened, and it would definitely benefit more than just him. Indeed, he would help her and Aiko, as well as others he bumped into she guessed, but that still left her wondering how she would repay him. Perhaps she could be the mouse that pulled the thorn from his paw, as he had put it what felt like so long ago.
She had curled herself around Aiko, but didn't fall asleep, instead just watching and wondering where they would be going next. The trees were already becoming denser, indicating that they were coming farther away from the human lands. Where ever it was, it'd have to be a safe place for Aiko, as she knew that Amatsu would definitely not want to let her get hurt, mentally or physically. In all honesty, she didn't want Aiko to get hurt either, as she was just too innocent at this point for that. It was a wonder she had remained as innocent as she had while on her own, as there would have been many wolves which would have gladly tortured her.
Sighing, she asked via her illusory powers so not to wake the pup, "If you don't mind me asking, do you plan on settling down anytime soon? I would imagine life as a wandering pup would be hard, especially with no place to call home." She wondered if such a place existed that wasn't ruled over by a pack, but she rather doubted one did, and for sure, none of the main packs would take them in. The other packs would probably be more ruthless than either Shinkou or Akeru, which, again, wasn't in her mind a good way to raise a pup. Perhaps it wasn't that way in Amatsu's mind, though, she couldn't read it and didn't know what he had planned for Aiko. All she did know was how she felt as a pup and how she would change it, which wasn't going to be much help for a druin pup.

Amatsu let a lazy yawn escape his maw. Yes, this pup was fortunete that Amatsu and Kyureki had picked her up. But at the same time, she was disfortunet because of the same reason. Amatsu was a wanted wolf in more territories then one. It was the reason he stayed away from Byrdsong and his own birthpups. While he didn't regret the night he spent with her, nor did he regret having pups with her. What he did regret was not being able to raise them himself. But, they were okay with Voronwe who was probebly a much better parent then Amatsu anyways. He heard Kyureki's illusion magic in his head. He chuckled softly, looking straight ahead.
"Settle down? I'm the Extreme Outlaw King.... I've always just wanted to live life with the most freedom.... Course, I always thought strength was everything. Being the strongest.. I trained myself endlessly everyday. Beat down everyone who came and tried to say they were stronger then me. Challenged alphas, humans, and dragons. Beat em all too. But that all never brought me happiness. Sittin here with you two. Makes me regret my past. So.. Yeah, I guess i'll settle down. At least for a little while. Only save place left to raise this pup. Is up."
He said softly, pointing into the sky. From here, a small floating island could be seen. Safe from the persecution of the hypocratic shinkou, the "Neutral" Akeru, and Giaku which would be devoured soon enough by Shinkou and Akeru. Until they all destroyed eachother, there would be no peace. But, that island, floating above the curroption and strife. It laid like a lighthouse to those who sought to distance themselves.
"Yep... Now we just have to figure out how to get there."

"There has always been one thing I have wanted to try, Amatsu, but until now I've been scared of what it might do to me. I still am, but with you here, I can hope that you can take care of me if something does go wrong. Since I am half-taekra, and I have heard they can travel via portals, one can assume I can do it too, if not as well. If something does go wrong, though, please look after me, there should be plenty of resources up there to help." With that, she sighed, pooling all her energy as she willed herself to do what she wanted, and let her instincts take over from there. She had no formal training in this, and who knew if this would even work, but it was worth a try at least, as it didn't hurt anything.
Kyureki felt like her mind was being ripped apart by the spell she was starting to do, but she couldn't break the instinct now, it had started taking a life of its own. She felt like a battery being drained now, as the spell started requiring more and more of it, pulling her closer and closer to the point where she was past exhaustion. Her breaths were coming in pants, then in gasps, and her heart raced faster and faster in order to keep her body supplied with oxygen. Just when she thought she would be pushed beyond the limit of her body, a portal appeared in front of them, completely black but not quite tall enough to fit Amatsu without him lowering himself towards the ground a bit, but it would still fit him if he did so.
Holding the portal open proved a challenge in and of itself as the drain seemed to have plateaued somewhat, though was still draining her just enough so that she couldn't speak, nor move. She didn't have any idea where this lead, and just had to trust that she had gotten the location right on it. She would kill herself if she had transported them into the sky somewhere where they would have to sprout wings and fly, which wouldn't really affect Aiko at all but would affect her and Amatsu. That is, if the fall somehow kill her first, as it would only be made more powerful by how small she was.
Aiko had been sleeping until she sensed something weird going on, something she didn't understand, and awoke to see Kyureki looking like she was in pain. Becoming panicked, she yelled, "Amatsu, what's going on?" In her panic she didn't even realize that she had said his name correctly. Suddenly, she gasped as she saw a big black thing appear in front of them, and became very, very scared. "Daddy, what is that? What's going on? I'm scared!" She curled herself farther into Amatsu's mane, trying to hide herself from whatever was going on like the pup she was.

Amatsu wanted to tell Kyureki not to do this but there was no stopping her now. The only thing he did was silently in his mind ask Edreiah to let some of his magic through. The seal wouldn't break completely, but it would allow him to handle things if need may be. Funny, a power that was only meant to wrought distruction would now be used to save. Amatsu felt Aiko stirring, and imidietly spoke calmly to her.
"Hush my little one.. You must be exhausted.. Your mother is using all her power to bring us to a new world. A world just for us... So smile, and lets go together."
He said softly. With that, he picked up Kyureki in his jaws and walked through the small portal. While inside it, he created a sphere of antigravity around himself and the others. Making sure that none of them would be hurt. They same came out of the portal, and with a loud thud Amatsu landed on the ground in the middle of a huge garden. Causing the ground to shake and crack beneath him. Kyureki was still in his jaws, which had not once pierced her. It was that Aiko came plopping down on Amatsu's chest, causing him to drop Kyureki though he used his magic to lesson her fall.
"I think.. We made it."

Soon after they had made it through the portal, something she somehow knew even though she could no longer bear to keep her eyes open, she felt Amatsu fall, and then herself from his jaws, lessened by Amatsu's magic. Her panting was so heavy now she couldn't talk, and she was so exhausted that it was hard for her mind to stay awake, but she wanted to make sure that everyone was alright. When she heard Amatsu speak, she smiled, and finally she gave in to the sleep that her body had been craving, needed because she had pushed herself too far. She just laid there where she fell, knowing Amatsu would keep her safe, as well as the pup.
Aiko had felt herself lift from Amatsu's head while in the blackness that was the portal and come out separately from him, falling on his chest and not realizing she had accidentally made him drop Kyureki. She looked about and was amazed at what she saw, she had heard about places like this in stories told by her mother, and dreamed about it at times when she slept. Now she was actually here, and she knew why the beings in those stories had loved it, why she had loved it in her dreams. She jumped off Amatsu's belly, fluttered before landing on the ground gracefully, and then ran up to a low bush that had some type of flower on it. She just stared, the beauty of such things only seen in her dreams since she had only wandered amongst fields and forests in her short life.
Bounding back to Amatsu, she said, "Thank you, daddy! Thank you, mommy! I love this place, I love you!" She licked Amatsu upon the paw before noticing that Kyureki was completely exhausted, then walked over to her, licking her behind the ear and whining. "Is she ok, daddy? I don't want her to die like my real mommy did." She curled herself up beside Kyureki, not wanting to enjoy this anymore until Kyureki was awake, because she hated death. Perhaps with her by her side, Kyureki wouldn't die, Kyureki would survive because of her love, which stories said was the most powerful thing in the universe. Looking up at Amatsu, she asked, "Amatsu, would you tell me a story?" She didn't know it, but she was giving him the puppy eyes, her cuteness enhanced by her sadness for Kyureki.

Viktor shuffled back as he noticed an unusual sight, a reptile-like Wolf creature seemingly taking care of a younger wolf-reptile creature. Viktor slung his broken M107 as he listened carefully. To his surprise...They spoke English, and very well to boot. Viktor carefully approached the two as he spoke directly to the larger creature, his hand on his 1911 just in case things went awry. He spoke slowly in his accented voice for the two beings to understand, just in case his dialect was strange to them, "Hello...My name is Viktor...I am not from this place...The humans I was with disappeared. I mean no harm, I only wish to find a friendly face in this unfamiliar environment." he adjusted his feet to a defensive position once again, just in case something went wrong.
