~Name~ Vita
~Gender~ Male
~Age~ 7 Human Years
~Specie~ Youroi Wolf
~Sub-Race~ None
~Homelands~ The Far East
~Packlands~ Tsuyu
~Rank~ Alpha Male
~Appearance~ Standing at the normal height for his specie, this wolf almost looks to be half canine and half tree. He has a silky pelt, colored a warm chocolate brown. However, that pelt covers only around half of his body. Starting at the tip of his nose, dark green, scale-like growths crawl down the underside of his jaw and over the front of his chest. As the growth reaches mid-way through his underside it gradually disappears into his pelt. Similar growth starts atop his head between his ears, riding back along his spine and right to the tip of his tail. These growths are similar to the bark of a tree, but are hard as rocks and shimmer slightly in the light. Beneath each of his eyes is a symbol sharing the same color as his "scales". These symbols both resemble a thin leaf, the tips of which tilt up and point to his ears. He looks at the world with emerald green eyes, his gaze always calm and surveying.
~Known Magic~ Green Paw This is a magical style that has three different spells. Even though all of these spells are meant to be peaceful, there are possible ways that the magic can be used for attacks or defenses.
-Sow The Seeds- This spell is the easier of the three to cast. The drain it has on the user is minimal, but can be increasing in difficulty depending on the conditions. The spell itself alters the targeted terrain by changing chemicals in the soil into ones that would be beneficial for plant life to grow in. Each time the spell is used it can only effect around two square acres, but it can be used in succession depending on the user's reserves of strength.
-Rapid Growth- This spell does not drain a great amount of energy from the user, but successive uses can leave the spell-caster drained of energy and vulnerable. This spell alters already existing plant life. It increases the growth of the plant to abnormal rates and can control which direction the plant grows in. The larger the plant is before the spell is used, the quicker and easier it is to perform.
-Animate Life- This spell is the hardest of the three to cast. The average user can usually only cast this spell twice before their resources are depleted. This spell can affect only existing plantlife, and the effects are only temporary (usually lasting at most only a few hours). The plant itself is altered into an intelligent being with the ability to move itself as efficiently as its specie is to be expected. The user can command these plants and usually has to resort to them as protection in times of battle.
~Personality~ A very patient creature, Vita is not one to anger quickly. When around others he does his best to be courteous and respectful and only abandons doing so when he is not given the same courtesy. His entire life has been devoted to the study of the many plants of the world, and so he has a loving devotion to the natural beauty of plantlife. Even though he might seem like the sort of being to roll over when pushed, he seems to be as rooted into his beliefs and goals as the plants he likes to remain around.
~Weaknesses~ His love of nature, fire.
~Strengths~ He draws some energy from nearby plant-life, using it to bolster his magics.
~Kin~ None
~History~ Vita was raised in a small pack. He began studying his arts at a young age, training under one of the more reknown for that particular field of magic. For years he studied under his master until at last he completed his final test. After that he set off into the world, in search of the lands of Shinkou where his master told him he could do good and learn new things. Vita set out into the world, with only vague stories to guide him. It took many seasons for him to even get close, and where he ended up was definitely the wrong place. He found himself in Giaku, and pretty soon after opening his mouth, he found himself before Tartarus, the king of those lands. He was given the choice to stay and die, or bring a piece of the land back to life and leave. Vita, not knowing who these creatures were, did what was asked of him and made the Hanagumori meadow. It took him three days and two night of work to complete the feat. He took his leave after the deed was done and found his way to Shinkou. There he learned who the pack of Giaku was, and a feeling of guilt flooded into him. To no one did he speak of this account. The guilt continued to weigh on Vita's peaceful soul until at last he felt compelled to continue his journey. Having met his goal of speaking to the trees of the great Kohai Forest, Vita instead has set his sites on another forest of lore, one said to be so wild no creature can tame it. He sets out in search of this forest not in the hopes to do what has already been said as impossible, but to try and find a home in the paradise of lore.
