Vacation..sort of

Okay, here are a few things that are going to happen in the next day. Tomorrow, Friday, I am leaving for TWO WEEKS, to go see my family. I do not know how much compy access I will have and I will try to get on as much as I can. Now, my compy at home is being a bitch, foxfire isn't working cause of some stupid proxy connection thing that I can't figure out. So I might not have much access when I get back too. Right now I'm sneaking on my moms compy while she's gone, which is a no no and I won't be doing when I get back. So if anyone knows how to fix the proxy connection problem, please help ^^ Otherwise, I shall be back. I WILL!

Did you just upgrade to the new Firefox 3.6? If you did, for some weird reason, it sets its Proxy status to manual, so that means you have to be some high tech comp person- to know all the different codes, thus allowing you to set your own settings.

If you are not however, it is quite simple to change it back.

First, you click 'Tools' (found at the top of the page next to bookmark and help)

Then click options. (Bottom of the list)

Go to Advanced when the pop up box comes up. In there it will have 'Connection', click 'Settings'. (It should be right next to it)

There it has a couple of things, but you should see a tick on the box that says 'Manual configuration.' Just click the box that has the 'Auto-detect proxy settings for this network.'

'Ok' and 'apply'. In whichever order it comes up.

AND BAM. It should work. If this isn't your problem however, I am not sure how to help you. >.< I sowwy.
