Yeah I know. I was online so often while I was in Germany that most of you probably forgot I was abroad / didn't even know in the first place, lmao. All the same, I feel compelled to announce that I am finally back home in the States. The only significance about this that any of you might care about is that it means I've returned to Eastern Standard Time, which means that I will actually be online around the same time as most of the people here -- as opposed to in Germany, when I was basically 6 to 9 hours ahead of the Americans.
So even though I was plenty active while I was abroad, this change in time zones will mean that I will be even more active. (What? It's still the summer and I have no major commitments.) Which means that I'll actually get to interact with people since they'll be online same time as me!
That aside...it sure feels good to be home. If any of you loonies out there are considering studying abroad for a semester while you're in college, I highly recommend it. It's one wild and fulfilling adventure. But it's also a relief to come home, because, well, as Dorothy says, there's just no place like it.
