Well, I'm new here, so I have a couple questions.

How can I post a chara. to be approved?
what's happening in the plot now?

Those are my two main questions. I realize I should read these things for myself, but it is a school night for me. I have however, read the info / storyline / rules page. But it would take me forever to read ALL the posts that show how the plot got to the point it is at.

I have RPed before, (always as a fantasy/realistic roleplay) on several sites and once before on another proboard. I do tend to spell like a Brit, so I'm sorry if that bothers anyone. >>'

First of all, no pressure to rush the rules. Make sure you take the time to read through all four rules pages. They will tell you how to post your character; there's a password hidden in the rules that unlocks the New Profiles board. There will also be a profile format in the rules that you should follow (we like having one uniform format that everyone can follow and understand).

Secondly, we don't really have an active forum-wide plot at the moment. The plot you're referring to is, I believe, the history of the Shinkou, Akeru, and Giaku lands, or the setup of our forum. Currently, we just have a lot of individual plots going on. It's a busy time for all of us, and even though some of us staffers have ideas for a unifying plot in the future, we also have a lot going on in real life right now. So it's a chill time for Shinkou Ookami. Just make your character, find a pack you like (or keep your character a loner), and jump into one of the threads or make your own. A lot of people have been starting up threads together on the RP Discussion Board.

As for spelling like a Brit, I imagine no one will mind your "-ours" and "-tres," as long as you use proper grammar. We have a couple of other British people floating about somewhere here too, so it's not an issue at all. =)

Finally, welcome to SO! I hope it's not too overwhelming and that you settle in here.

oh, okay. ^^ thank you very much.

I just finished reading the rule sections, so now I have a good idea. It's rather nice that the forums are quiet now, I won't have to worry about getting lost as I start up. I'm just tweaking a few things about my character. (as I only ever use one, and it's been the same one for almost two years now I have her down pat.)
