Hey everyone! Today (02-11-2010) is Melbourne Cup Day. It's a pretty prestigious event here in Australia (Horse racing) and I thought I might share this fabulous day with you all.
That being said, I bet on a horse, and he came first! Got a whole 600 bucks worth from my mere 20 dollar bet. As soon as I seen him a few days ago,( They sort of tell each horses back story and stuffs) I just knew he was going to take home the 'Cup'. AKA: The Holy Grail. (It's a trophy.)
I have included a link to the main race. There is plenty of other races on the day, but this one, is the big one. Americain is the horse I went for, and even though its a bit dull through the race, its the ending that really gets the heart pumping! Enjoy!
