Appearance: Slim, trim, and dangerous, Starshadow is 5'7", muscular all over, and a daring beauty. Her brown hair, wavy and shoulder-length, is often tied up in a no-nonsense bun. Her eyes are the mysterious and enticing violet-blue, often narrowed in a deadly glare. She wears tight black outfits for every occasion, whether it's bulletproof leather or that little black dress for an evening out. When she's in her shadow-form, she's pure darkness, shapeless and colorless.

Personality: She's the kind of badass chick that you just don't want to mess with. She'd much rather solve problems with her fists and feet than with words. At the same time, it's hard for her to open up emotionally, except to a few people who mean a lot to her. She's very protective and possessive of those few people and doesn't like change or new people coming into her life. With those she does love, though, she's all laughter and jokes. She can hang with the best of the boys and hold her own. Star doesn't like asking for help much either.

Shadow-form: Star can instantly become as insubstantial as a shadow, which is where she gets her code name/nickname. This allows her to pass through solid objects, including living beings, and climb walls and ceilings. She cannot attack or affect anyone in this form, and must go back to human if she wants to hurt somebody, but her shadow-form is good for stealth and escape.

Skills: Trained by the Marines, Alice is one tough tittie. She works best with long-range weapons like sniper guns and the crossbow (her favorite archaic revived weapon). She can still hold her own with close-range weapons but they're not her favorite. She'd rather slash someone with a knife than shoot them with a handgun. She's an expert at martial arts and is also surprisingly good at arm wrestling.

Biography: Born and raised in the same foster family as Leon Deltova and Scott Ranton, Alice was always a tomboy growing up. She was believed dead in an accident but then later turned up in Leon's Marine Corps, already one of the best. She volunteered for experimental surgery in which they tried to make her a supersoldier. The result was her ability to shift into a shadow-form, which was a great inconvenience at first because it was out of her control. Once she had it under control, she was an even better fighter than before. Because of it, she served as a spy and an assassin, where her new talent helped her sneak up on people.

In a bad crossfire, though, Alice was shot. She was able to heal by turning shadow and letting the bullet fall out, but her foster brother Leon believed she was dead for a long time. That is, until Alice was discharged from the Marines and was able to go out on her own. She soon caught up with Leon and found him rooming with a dirty thief named Somni. Now she lives with them, but she still hasn't gotten over her beef with Somni, with whom Leon seems to be enamored. Ah well, she'll get over it. In the meantime, she's got Leon's back.
