HUMAN/ANTHRO WORLDS CHARACTER
Name: Mirror
Gender: N/A (though appears female more often)
Race: Undetermined Alien
Sub-Race: Shapeshifter
Appearance: In its most basic form, the alien entity that is known as Mirror is just a silvery-smooth rock, usually in the shape of a perfect reflective sphere. Its apparent solidity is actually as malleable as liquid, allowing it to change its shape. In our human world, it chooses to walk around as a female, a young healthy woman of apparent Indian descent, her black hair waist-length and smooth. Her eyes are tawny, golden even, and she has a somewhat feline look to her face. She often dresses herself in brightly patterned clothing, choosing to appear as exotic as possible in the given environment.
Personality: There is no doubt that Mirror considers itself to be better than everyone else around, believing that it has superior strength and intelligence. However, it is curious about human emotion, though it has shown no real signs of actually having any yet. It is extremely tolerant and patient, having yet to experience anger or any other kind of passion (though it has studied its effects in others). It finds humans delightful and sometimes amusing specimens and offers no threat to their existence—yet.
Magic: Adaptation (Note: due to the godmoding nature of Mirror's abilities, let it be known that it is for a single isolated plot only, in which the fellow roleplayers have given permission for these spells to exist, for the sake of the plot. Mirror will not be used outside of this plot.)
-Spells:
DNA copy: Mirror can clone itself into any living thing, as long as it gets a touch, but a single touch is all it takes to absorb and keep DNA.
Warp: Furthermore, Mirror can change any part of its person to anything at all, even inanimate objects. Therefore, it can be a human with a machine gun for arms, or a dragon that belches knives. There is no apparent limit for what Mirror can become.
Split: Mirror can splice off tiny bits of itself to use as external "eyes" to spy on others. Technically, Mirror can split into many small forms, all of which retain the aforementioned abilities.
Self-Heal: It is almost impossible to permanently injure or damage Mirror, since it can reform its cells at a rapid pace.
Skills: It can pick up new skills rather quickly. All it needs is to watch someone demonstrate a skill a few times before it can duplicate it. And since it lives with a couple of martial arts experts, suffice to say that Mirror has already learned a little too much, should anyone ever need to fight it. On the other hand, after watching the cooking channel, Mirror's quite handy to have around the kitchen.
Biography: In a distant galaxy, on a planet full of aliens called Lubecks, Mirror was discovered in the core of the planet. It always possessed the abilities it has, but when it was discovered and brought up to be tested, it gained conscious thought. Even worse, it gained imagination. Realizing that there was no limit to what it could do or become, Mirror began experimenting on itself, pushing its imagination and potential. Horrified, the Lubecks accused it of being too godlike and ordered it to leave, or else they would declare war on it. Mirror understood that it would be able to completely destroy them in such a war—and, not wanting to do that to its home planet, it exiled itself. It traveled through space like a meteor, without much purpose or direction.
It landed on a few planets, but most of them were desolate, without civilization. After several tries, Mirror ended up on Earth. In the backyard of a big mansion owned by Leon Deltova. It did not transform until it was taken inside. Observing some of the interactions between Leon and Somni, it then cloned Somni, locked her up, and tried to masquerade as her for a little while. Unfortunately, Leon caught on and demanded the truth. Mirror explained everything and was allowed to stay as long as it stayed true to its promise and observed only.
It took its new human form and settled in. Meanwhile, Leon, studying a split-off piece of Mirror, accidentally injected himself with the matter. The little symbiote soon became a part of him, granting him similar powers to the original Mirror. Mirror itself does not seem to be worried about this development; it is currently content to observe humanity and its new home planet, hoping not to agitate this civilization like the Lubecks. For now...dun dun dun...
