This was her secret.
Her one little piece on earth was what this was. Well, inner earth at least. Up high in the mountains was where she discovered it and fully by accident. It was during a harsh winter storm that she sought refuge in a cave, only to realize it went further and further back, deeper and seemingly into the heart of the mountains. Instead of being cool and dank, it was quite the opposite. It was warm with a high humidity in the air.
The further she traveled, the more she realized what was going on. Soon enough she could see the faint glow of some sort of magic bouncing around. It cause the stalagmites and columns to glow in various hues. But nothing compared to the soft blue glow of the pools of warm water that danced round the entire place. The hotsprings were welcoming and she had decided long ago to come here as often as she could.
More than once she went for a swim, taking her time and enjoying the warmth and soothing bubbling water. Her secret, maybe, just maybe it wouldn't stay a secret for forever...

Okamiimaru always had this subconscious desire to travel north. Maybe it was so embedded into his mind, wanting to return to his birthplace, yet he couldn't and would eventually head in a different direction. But now, since then returning and finding that peace, the still subliminal desire was there. High up in the air, his wings flapped a steady beat to keep him up, but he was in no hurry. Flurries scattered and caught onto his copper fur and scarf. The cold dry air he breathed made him smile to himself. Spotting a mountain, he decided to take a quick rest and explore some, having that he was new to everything and was curious about his new home.
Landing on a snow covered cliff, his wings folded onto his back. Able to see his breath in front of him, he blew variants of smoke clouds to amuse himself for the moment. Chuckling to himself, he looked around and began his exploration. The sound and feel of snow was all too familiar to him and he absolutely loved the cold and winter weather. The sound of four different paws could be differentiated as he padded along the land. For a while, all's he saw was mountain, mountain and more mountain and was about to take off and continue his look around until he stepped into a pool of noticeably warmer air. His curiosity piqued, he found a cave and the air got warmer still. Perplexed on how it was so warm in the cave, he stepped into it and shimmed off the now slush on his fur.
The deeper into the cave, the more interesting it got until the stalagmites and stalactites had a wave like glow to them. Turning his head from the spikes to the bio-luminescent water, his eyes widened at the sight. The warm atmosphere made him loosen his scarf and he re-situated his scabbards strap out of habit. Absent mindedly, he wandered and wasn't knowing that another was in his presence.
Hey Zizzie, may I ask who you're playing as?

((I honestly cant remember which character lmfao...I think it was supposed to be Zoicite or Galaxia but I think Imma switching it to Zara..))
The pool was just deep enough for her to swim around in. Occassionaly she could feel a black paw brush against the smooth rocky surface of the pool bottom. She was a lithe thing, her fur a deep midnight black yet a distinct line of copper color ran from the tip of her nose down to the small tuft of fur on her tail, giving her a skunk like look. But that was fine. It wa sa stripe that everyone on her fathers line had, a very distinct birthmark.
Zara finally reached the edged and got out. Her muscles fully relaxed. Now it was time fpr a decent nap and then life would be even better. She shook her body, sending drops of water everywhere. Zara smiled, this was how life should be.

The sound of water, licking against the outer edges of the rock floor could be heard as metallic claws clicked against it with each step he took. Okamiimaru was fascinated by this find of his and wondered how such a place could be found inside a mountain, this high up. Eyes wandered and neck rolled to the sides as he gazed upwards. Curious about the pool, Okamiimaru padded closer, and was about to go around a stalagmite when he heard splashing water and loud ruffling sounds. Stopping and zipping to hide behind the cone of rock, he was unaware that someone else was here. Holding his breath, he peeked around the corner to see who it was. Relief washed over him to see it was one like him, one with even wings, a female. A rare sight for him, he decided to quietly approach her in an open way.
Not wanting to frighten he, he revealed himself and flicked a rock across the floor of the cave and played it off as he just walked in when she noticed him. In the short time period before he did reveal himself, he noticed she looked different than the ones in his home lands. Ruling out that his new acquaintance wasn't from there, he was even more curious, curious that winged wolves existed elsewhere. Smiling as he saw how happy she appeared, he wanted to appear friendly, "Hello", he spoke softly. His deep, English accent would have filled the caves if he spoke any louder, "A coincidence two finding the same place", he mused with a chuckle.
