Naya raised her dark head from her white paws. The sun had caused her to arouse from her deep slumber. She stood and shook off last night's sleep from her multicolored body, and took in her surroundings. The sun was just breaking over the garden's walls. It was her perfect time of day.
The flowers danced for her as the breeze swirled around them. Naya began to walk aimlessly around the garden, watching the beauty around her silently. Her mind wandered where her feet could not and soon she was lost in her imagination. It was cut brief however by a twig attacking her face.
Naya snorted and pawed at the twig playfully. Her emerald orbs looked around and she sighed realizing she was yet again lost. This was not the first time either. Naya sat and sniffed the air. Along with her unfamiliar surroundings came an unfamiliar scent. She paused and once again looked around. Her nose could see what her eyes could not. A wolf was approaching. Naya tensed ready to run if necessary.
She waited silent and ready for whatever was coming to her.
