Jasha Had heard that the demon was in the snowy region, but it seemed he had come to the wrong place. Another false lead, more time wasted. Perhaps he was too harsh on that sub-demon he encountered. Then again, he really deserved what he got.
The metal of his armor clanked as he walked. His bright green eyes peered out behind a helmet decorated with intricate patterns. The exposed scars that covered his body grew cold with the frigid wind, but he kept walking. He had no time for breaks. He had to find that damn demon at all costs. Where the hell was he?

Sanka was as lost as he could be. After he woke up by that tree he couldn't figure out which way was where. He tried looking for the North star but to him they all looked the same. So, as he often did, he just pointed his nose in a direction and stuck to it. The wind pelted him with frozen droplets of water. It was unpleasant, like being stung by 100 bees at once. His eyes were tiny slits of red, although it didn't really matter how big they were, he couldn't see 2 feet in front of him. He tried to scent the air but the sub-zero wind threatened to freeze his nose off. Basically, Sanka was blind and lost in an unknown territory.
"I hate the cold" he said through gritted teeth.
The rhythmic crunching of his paws driving into the snow soothed him and helped him forget about his agonizing surroundings, a technique he had learned from some guy this one time. But his tranquility was interrupted by the clanking of what seemed to be armor. Sanka's heart stopped, his mind jumping back to images of the great dakkans, Solace and Meridian. He longed for the day when he'd be able to rip out Solace's throat! But he was drawn out of his fantasy by reason, Solace wouldn't come here, it's freezing! He then began wondering whether or not he was just hearing things. He trudged on until he was once again disrupted by a distinct metal clanking.
Sanka grinned, he hadn't found an enemy in a long time, maybe this was his opportunity to calm his blood lust. Knowing that his matte black fur stuck out against the landscape he didn't bother trying to think up a stealth attack. Instead he'd bring his prey to him. He drew in a breath of the freezing air and let out a magnificent howl that split and harmonized with itself, sounding as if there was a full pack of wolves howling together, a trait of his breed. He waited, knowing that a true warrior would make himself known.

((OoC: Sorry the first one was so bad. I could have sworn I fixed that :sweatdrop: ))
An unmistakable sound split the frigid air and Jasha stopped short. The sound was deceptive. Just by listening it was difficult to detect the number of wolves who called out. It could many or few, but regardless of the number, a warrior could never ignore such a call.
Jasha's eyes narrowed, his tails rose high and his ears lay flat against his helmet. Whoever it was that had called out obviously knew he was here, so pretending not to hear it would be just plain foolish. If there were too many, he could use his magic, but he would rather not have to.
Airing on the safe side, he erected his shield, invisible unless struck, and ;ifted his muzzle toward the sky. His answering howl ranged enough to make it seem as if there were at least three or four of him. Perhaps the sound of multiple deep howls would cause the challengers to back down. Maybe.
With the end of Jasha's howl, he stood completely still. His ears and tails straight up.

The moment the sound of the howl entered Sankas ear canal he bolted in its direction. That's all he needed, a direction. He took long strides trying to cover as much distance as possible before he sank back into the snow. He felt more like he was jumping than running. He scented the air hoping to get some information on his foe but the wind carried nothing but subzero temperatures.
Among the white background Sanka stuck out like a sore thumb. He began to wonder if his foe had already spotted him bouncing around on the landscape. He then began wondering what kind of foe he would meet. Was he the type who would lunge as soon as he saw Sanka, or would he introduce himself first, waiting for Sanka to make an aggressive move. Whatever the case Sanka was ready to have a sparring match at least until blood. If his foe refused him that, well he'd just have to bully him into saying yes.
Feeling a slight pain in his left flank he was reminded of an old wound that had yet to heal. He then realized how much energy her was expending sprinting through the deep snow. At this rate he'd be exhausted before he reached his opponent. He slowed and focused on his breathing trying to provide his lean muscle with as much oxygen as they needed. His heart beat quickly returned to its normal pace so he switched his focus from his breathing to where the howl had come from. Squinting his eyes in the high wind, Sanka could barely make out the outline of another wolf. He smile.
So this is to be my opponent. he thought

Jasha planted his feet squarely under himself. He lowered his head and his ears lay against his skull. With narrowed eyes he scanned through the think white of the snow storm for sign of movement. it did not take long for the form of a wolf bouncing through the snow to come into view. Thanks to his silvery white coat Jasha remained unseen long enough for him to get e good look-well, as good a look as one could get in this weather-at his challenger.
The other male was bounding through the snow, then suddenly slowed down.It was likely that he had tired himself out by running like that. The demon part of Jasha wanted to attack now, while the opponent was tired, but the celestial side, as it usually did, won over and he held his ground while the other wolf came into view.
Jasha was taller and fairly larger than this other wolf. a product of his tainted heritage. What bothered him the most, though, was how much this wolf before him resembled the very demon he was after. The sight of such a similarity made him growl deep within his chest. The noise was not too loud, for it was obvious that this male was not the same one. Nonetheless, one could never be too certain.
If the other wolf did not speak, after a tense moment of silence Jasha would speak up, his voice strong and authoritative. "Who are you?"

Although the question was audible Sanka didn't answer until he had gotten closer to his foe. His coat made it hard to make out his exact size, but it was obvious that he was larger than Sanka.
"It's rude to ask for anothers name before introducing yourself." Sanka said grinning.
Sanka could sense that this wolf was part demon, he would make a could foe indeed. Sanka was confused at why he had not already attacked, demons were usually always willing to start a fight, whether they could finish it or not.
"What is your name demon?" he asked.
Sanka didn't really need a name, his sole purpose in life was to fight demons. The battle had already begun, even if his opponent couldn't tell.

Jasha waited patiently for the other male to answer. When the other finally did speak, he was only met with smart comments. This battle was going to turn into one of wit before it got physical, it seemed.
Jasha's eyes narrowed at the wolf before him at being called a demon. He knew very well his own half demon heritage and what, to many, that might imply. However, his lighter side had much more control, giving him an advantage over the irrational mind of a cold blooded, murderous demon.
"Is it not also rude to completely ignore a question in favor of your own?" Jasha did not sense any other wolves around. It seemed that this one dark male was on his own. Or was he? Jasha did not get this far by making assumptions and being careless. He did not think any others were around, but he would keep his guard up nevertheless.
He would say nothing else until the other wolf gave his name. If he moved to attack he would be ready to counter.
