Light,Dark or in between???

Right now I'm working on what color my next character should be. light colored or dark, either way it looks good to me,but I think the light catches your attention to much, while the dark is just kind of normal, in between is ok in my point of view,but it looks like something is missing .uhg, I really just cant decide.
