As the already hidden sun sunk lower behind the giant black storm clouds the dark and unamused alpha male grew aggitated with the slime soaked carnivorous seeming plants blocking the way before him. He had lead himself the wrong way in hopes of a short cut back to his packs den but unfortunatley had found himself at a dead end threatened by meat eating flowers with the road to dence to crawl back through. The determined yet reluctant Semei backed up several steos as far as he could until the thick mossy tree trunks preventing his escape stopped him in his tracks. Almost ceratin those ugly over grown pink plants knew he was there the black male held himself still as physicaly possible. What a disapointment it was when the plants started shifting, around five or six flowering monsters near five feet tall towered over the captured alpha threatening him with foul sounding hisses. Ears layed flat to his neck, tail wrapped around his shivering wet body Semei held his breath as if wishing that could help. He had to come up with a plan of action and quickly or it could mean his life.
Completely astounded by the sheer size of these vicous plants the lone male wolf barred his fangs, from his throut errupting a threatening growl. It might buy him some time but not for long. To the reaction of Semei's snarl the plants felt no such thing as fear. Twisting their roots thorned vines rose up from the soil slithering their way over to the frightened canine. This time baring the sharp spines across their mouth the plants almost roared and thats when Semei know he would be better off now if he had listened to his instincts about this forest. He could really use a pack mate right about now. Releasing one more feirce growl the dark wolf male harnessed all his strength and courage as he lept into the air and right for the deadly fly traps as they beared their thick trap open ready for a delicious meal.

Ula's dark paws were silent as they carried her swiftly over the ground. The growls she had heard were getting closer and closer but it could have just been their echoes off of the trees, either way if the wolf who they belonged to had found the giant fly traps they would be in a heap of trouble. Luckily, she found both parties before any real fighting could break out. She risked a glance and saw a male wolf backed up against some thickly knit trees. Great... See what wandering around in the middle of a storm get's you? She grumped silently, putting her charcoal black nose to the ground. It took only a few seconds for her to find the tell tale scent of the animated plant's roots. There were a lot relatively close to the surface. Good... Maybe I can wipe a few out this way then..
Dirt flew as the growls grew louder behind her and slightly to the right. Yes! A mud covered, stick-like thing finally showed its slimy surface. The things I do to help someone out... With a grimace, the young she-wolf bared her fangs and bit...then bit again, and again...and one more time for good measure. She could literally see the poison snaking up through the vein-like tubes running all through the plant, and just in time as the male wolf had just thrown himself directly toward the plants who were hissing as they felt their equivalent of organs quickly shutting down. However, there were some left unharmed by her poisoning of this one's roots, and she couldn't take the time to keep digging. With a frustrated growl, Ula twisted around and flew back to the confrontation. One plant was trying to snake its vine around his leg, but the black she-wolf would have none of that. With deadly accuracy, the charcoal female darted in and yanked the vine away, venom spreading through the plant as she bit down on the leafy limb again and again. But there were still more for her to worry about. You really dig yourself a hole don't you... She mused silently at the male wolf, going after yet another vine as it tried to snake its way around the male's hind leg.
Just as she bit into the 'limb', four fly eaters fell, her poison having beaten them at last. She grinned wickedly, continuing on her attack against the plant appendage the femme held in her jaws before moving onto another and another. With the male attacking plants as well, the plants soon admitted defeat and slithered back into more peaceful poses; though their threat would never completely diminish. Ula turned to face the male wolf, panting heavily though still forcing a hesitant-and slightly guarded-grin to curl one side of her mouth. "How about...you don't do...that again...okay?" She suggested wryly through her breathing, wagging her tail halfheartedly a couple of times before falling back on her rump to wait for the male's reply.

A streak of regretful fear withered from the core of the black males emotions as right before him the carniverous plant based beast stuck the earth shifting the soil, its body remaining limp as Semei cautiously and curiously came to an abrupt hault meters before the lifeless creature. Shock still pulsing though Semei's system he forced his head around to steal a glance at the cause of the limpless plant. Despite his assumptions it was a dark female that had come to his rescue destroying the vicious plants one by one. Not forgeting his mortal danger the alpha male swirled around, paws digging into the soaking mud barring his white large fangs digging them straight into the plants roots. As swiftly as she had arrived the female wolf had destroyed all harm that opposed the two. Curious and yet reluctant to meet the females eyes Semei pushed himself setting his full gaze on her. She was quite pretty for her age but her strong features and obviously toned mucles and assertive stance captured his attention. She looked to be a skilled and powerful fighter as she had just proven herself to be. Shaking his body in a semi elegant motion attempting to release is dark fur from the muds thick hold Semei stood foward into a more dominant pose assesing the female.
"Thank you for your help, you did a good job of ridding those painful plants" he complimented in reply to her statement. Eyeing the lifeless greenery once more the alpha male noticed the appearance of what seemed to be poison. Shifting his stare quite suddenly Semei commented "So your powers rage from that of toxic poisons, what a usefull ability". trying to seem gracous without looking incompitent or weak Semei spoke in a pleasureable authority tone. "Your speed, and strength compliment yourself" he added trying to continue conversation as it seemed the surroundings were growing more and more silent with every second. "Where did you come from Miss...." he trailed off wating for her response.

The young she-wolf ducked her head as some water flew her way, evading most of it but still getting splattered by a few stray drops. Oh well, it wasn't anything to be concerned with. After his shake, the male slid into a pose only capable by the dominance and pride of an alpha. To the charcoal wolfess-yet unlearned in the ways of pack hierarchy-he simply appeared arrogant, but that was easily ignored when he spoke. Ula nodded at the male's compliment, giving a small smile as she did so. "No, thank you. My day had been pretty boring until you started your little game." She joked, one ear swiveling back when she heard a slight slithering noise that stopped as soon as she had acknowledged it. Huh... Oh well! As the male examined one of the fallen plants, the female turned her head to look curiously at the male through her right eye as her other was half blind with a strange thin milky streak cunning directly through the middle of her pupil. While she watched, the male jerked his gaze back to her and anxiety rose in Ula's chest. Oh great... She would have ran then had he not spoken before the she-wolf could move: "Your powers rage from that of toxic poisons, what a useful ability..."
The midnight furred wolfess had never heard that reaction to her venom before. Granted the usual reaction were cries of pain, but for the small percentage that had learned of her ability without going through the agony of experiencing it, they had-for the most part-become distrusting and/or outright aggressive. However, this male seemed impressed. Well good, it's an impressive ability. "Your speed and strength compliment yourself." He continued, as if searching for something to keep the conversation going. "Well, when there's no one there to watch your back, you learn to hit hard and move fast." Ula replied wryly, still looking at him through her right eye. "Add poison and it makes a formidable trio. Though they're simply some things I learned to survive..." She let the sentence drop, turning her head down suddenly finding herself overcome with her strong emotions.
The charcoal female would have stayed lost in thought forever had not the male spoken again: "Where did you come from miss...?" Ula blinked, surprised at the question. She'd always wondered where she had been born but it had never really bothered her until someone else shared that question. Ever since the young female could remember, she'd been on her own and wandering around the world wherever her paws took her. Still, she had never given her exact origins a lot of thought. Looking back up at the male, facing him straight on now, a confused look came on her face. "You know, I have no idea... I guess I've just been wandering too long, heh." The she-wolf's tone wasn't sad or upset in fact it could have passed for happy or carefree, but a subtle anxiety played behind the feminine tones bringing a darker light to her words. Her youth was plain in her features, but already there was a wisdom about her unusual for her age. But, what could be expected from someone who had raised them self, alone, as far back as they could remember?

Jaivelle had seen all that had happened in her quick flashes of visions. Often, she would do this to understand when someone or something nears her. Her last vision, of the male wolf shaking his fur, flashed and she began walking to where the landmarks showed the way. Not long, she founded pawprints in the muddy earth.
The she-wolf saw her vision happening, less impressed by the male's pride and grace. After waiting a bit long, after the other wolf, a midknight female, spoke for a bit. Jaivelle had little patience left, for she hadn't talked to anyone in days.
"Aye, there! Was' wi' th' dead plant wi' teeth?" she called out, nonchalont. She leaped over a fallen cypress tree and trotted up near the wolves. "Did I miss somethin'?"(Sniff-Sniff)"Is... Is that posion?"
Her eyes examined the two wolves, seeing slight familiarities in shape, size and fur patterns. She ignored them, keeping to her insane ways of thought, the famous way she was. Her vioelt eyes flickered, one turning cyan for a moment, showing her a mouse eaten by an eagle.

It was an odd day. One to be carefree in the midst of. The humid air of the rainforest made spirits seem damp, but it wasn’t true for Drozjin Rythrym. He was a lively as ever, happy that he was able to get walking today. His sleek pelt rippled with movement as he leaped onto the roots of a tree which happened to be a good three feet out of the ground. His paws made no noise as he crept along the forest undergrowth. The stumps of his wings, having been cauterized so that they would not grow back, had healed, leaving barely any notion that he was born with them. His ibex horns had grown a good six inches in the past year. He was strong, and had grown into a fine young wolf.
Fine enough to leave his pack. Though he didn’t like to think of it, he knew that he had done wrong by leaving. Sometimes, his heart ached for the times when he would rumble with Crona and Dakrev, but those times had passed. There was no going back. Especially with this new stroke of luck! He had found a pack, and had settled into the position of Beta. He found it odd that he would join a family of wolves in the wetlands, but he would rarely use his fire magicks anymore. Not after what happened with Dakrev…
He snorted, leaping down from the roots. He wouldn’t think about it. His long, fox-like ears twitched and he lowered his head. He could hear his Alpha’s voice, and the voice of another… One he didn’t recognize. His violet eyes peered through the trees, where he could see the steaming remains of the large monsters of flytraps. They should have been referred to as birdtraps, though. That tended to be their main diet. Droz put a smile on his black and red muzzle, trotting toward the two.
Suddenly, a female burst out of nowhere, disrespectfully voicing her confusion. Droz narrowed his eyes, his smile fading into a frown. His ears twitched and he slowly slowed to a walk, certain that the others would have caught his scent by now. He adopted a more respectful stance, nodding toward his alpha, before cocking his head at the two newcomers. He let a lighthearted chuckle, letting himself sit down on his haunches.
“Sir,” Droz began, glancing around at the dead plants, “Forgive my interruption, but… May I ask what happened to you?” He chuckled as he said it. He didn’t know his alpha as well as he should have, but he liked him all the same. His violet eyes glistened as he surveyed the two femmes, before looking at his alpha patiently.

Semei's thoughs and consentration on his female saviour wavered when another female wolf enetered their mist asking questions about the scents and substances cast all over the earth. Almost a minute after her arrival Semei's ears pricked to the sound of more passing feel abrush the shrugs and lower leaves making their way closer. Raising his pulsing head taking in the scents of the air above his mucles relaxed recognizing the scent of his beta. Lowering his head slightly Semei glanced at both female wolves before the complete arrival of his general. As the male cast his respects towards his alpha Semei couldnt help but smile on the inside though he would not show a spec on the outside. Greeting him with the same respect he had been shown the black male greeted his male beta "Evening Droz". Eyeing the dead plants surrounding the odd group of wolves Semei replied "I foolishly ran into a little trouble, and if it werent for this wolfess here..." suddenly Semei realised they had not exchanged names. Slipping back into an authoritive motion Semei confronted both female wolves asking both politely what their names may be. *I apologise for my absense though I am back and ready to get this thread back in motion*

For a brief moment, Ula felt herself relaxing. She could handle one wolf if the need arose, besides, he owed her. There's no telling what kind of trouble he would have gotten into if she hadn't come along when she did. But when another wolf arrived, the midnight furred she-wolf had to actively think about NOT snarling or running off as instinct screamed at her to do. The new female called out as if she was familiar with the large male, however, she knew better than to assume so such theories were quickly put to rest. Time would reveal all. No matter their relationship, Ula was not a wolf to be caught off guard. When the female trotted toward them, she instantly stood and edged away from the male in order to put some distance between them if one chose to attack. "Yes... That is poison..." The dark wolfess replied to the new female's question, her voice guarded and neutral while wary, sterling silver eyes watched the new comer intensely. At any second this wolf may strike, at any second the male may strike. At any second, Ula must be ready.
While waiting for the femme's reply, a new scent caught the she-wolf's delicate nose. A male, approaching from her left. "Ah, hell. How am I supposed to watch three wolves with only ONE eye?! She snarled silently, her eyes darting from wolf to wolf but only her right capable of seeing. Fear sent the blood racing through her veins, venom filling her maw. Ula felt herself backing away, but only a couple steps because then a tree connected with her black rump and immediately halted her retreat. Oh gods.... Somehow, she was able to make sure that none of her inner turmoil showed through to the calmness - and perhaps some wariness - that kept the she-wolf's features smooth. “Forgive my interruption, but… May I ask what happened to you?” The new male was asking, addressing the darker male with respect clear in his tone. Perhaps a beta? This shadowy male seems the type to control a pack... One part of Ula's mind reasoned; rationalizing everything she saw, heard, smelled. The other part...well...it wasn't so calm and collected.
"I foolishly ran into a little trouble, and if it weren't for this wolfess here..." The first male let the sentence drop and pulled himself into a more commanding position. He is an alpha, look at how he puffs out his chest. The dark she-wolf decided, also coming to a conclusion about the second male being the beta. Even so, Ula still considered the first male as slightly arrogant in his mannerisms. Oh cut it out. He's an alpha, it's not arrogance it's dignity. Now suck it up and answer him! An irritated voice chastised in Ula's mind. "I'm Ula." She replied simply, her silver eyes staring with cold calculation at the alpha. Even if it might have appeared as though her full attention was on this alpha, that was far from reality. One ear was constantly turned toward the horned wolf, and her gaze would flicker to the female every few seconds. If either of them moved, the dark wolfess would know and react accordingly. Until then, she would remain as calm and detached as her racing heart could allow.
