The Dawn of Cirytan's era (Captains meeting)

Xaion stood atop his prized Hilong cave. The day had arrived for him to finally pass the torch onto a new generation. The old alpha was going to step down and allow his daughter to be the new Queen of the Akatsuki. It was a proud day for him, if only a little meloncholy. Memories were flooding into him of all the years spent here as the king. The hardships, and the victories. The losses and gains. Yes, Xaion was proud. His beloved daughter would take the reigns, and hopefully, his other children would become just as important.

"Aaaaaaaaah?"

Said a small voice from next to Xaion. Crona was with him, sniffing at a scorpion she had found. Lately, she had taken to eating them. Why? he'd never know. A sudden crunch behind him and he knew the scorpion had met its end. With a smile, he nuzzled Crona and motioned for her to follow. He knew she would even if he hadn't. Yes, the meeting place was at the temple where the captains of the fire wells always met.
