Sanka paused for a moment thinking things over. He loved to work puzzles in his head which is why he worked so hard to come to conclusions all the time. His most recent was on this dragon, he was almost positive he was correct, it seemed pretty simple in his mind. The people wanted immortality so they killed the dragons, but as it turns out it only works if the dragon gives it willingly. So why the hell would someone wipe out an entire race if not for a prize?!?! he questioned. His mind was working non-stop, coming to new conclusions, disproving them, and coming up with more, but if his major theory was wrong, it'd be near impossible for him to think of the right one. Then it hit him, hate. It was so simple it was nearly stupid. Sanka's own clan was nearly destroyed by winged beasts, and when it came time to retaliate Sanka's own clan went on a murderous rampage, but he quickly disproved that theory too. Timeless dragons would have been an ancient species, outliving most of their enemies, and probably turning their back on war, so they would have no enemies.
"Dammit," he cursed under his breath. Then he remembered he had still not answered Varadoss's question.
"Well, i thought it would be a motive for the slaughtering of your brethren, but as you have said your blood must be given willingly, so it was obviously incorrect." he said plainly.
His ears twitched and his head snapped, the smell of fresh earth had reached him. He scanned the area focusing all his attention to the task at hand. He spotted another, this gathering seemed to be getting larger and larger. It's probably the stench of blood bringing everyone here. he concluded. He wasn't used to being seen first, he was usually the one who snuck up on people. he decided it would be best to ignore him, the distance between them was too great fro the wolf to pose an immediate threat.
"There's a brown wolf over there." he said gesturing with his nose. [O0c:Sorry i was gone for so long, my birthday was Sunday but the celebrating started a little early and just wouldn't stop! But i'm free now!]

Her head turned with Sanka's sudden movement, tilting her head in question. He'd obviously noticed something, and it only took a moment before she caught the scent of another wolf. From how she was laying, and Sanka being slightly in her path she couldn't see the wolf, but was soon informed at least of it's colour.
OOC: Sorry guys. I'll reply whenever I can, feel free to go on without me if I don't reply for a few days. Sorry this is so short, almost midnight. >< Schools been rough. x-x And happy belated birthday. ^^

Varadoss raised and turned his head to look in the direction Sanka had mentioned only for a moment before turning to look back at Sanka. With a slight smile on his face Varadoss he replied. "Well actually you are correct in saying that was the motive as to why we were hunted. You see.... every creature that heard of the story telling of how we were able to grant this immortality to others ended up tracking us down and coming as large packs as the stories spread. We were asked, begged and even pleaded by some creatures to give them what they wanted but we refused knowing full well what would happen to us if we did. It was their own greed that turned into jealousy that we had what they could not obtain. That jealousy turned into resentment and eventually manifested as anger."
Varadoss paused for a moment before continuing. "They began to feel that if they could not have the immortality they wished for, then nobody could have it. So they began to hunt us. Telling rumors to others that we were a greedy race that just wanted this gift for ourselves and would not share. Even after having explained why we would not grant them what they wished for so much, they didn't care. Offering higher positions in their packs to those who would bring back proof of having slain one of us or offering extra food for weeks at a time." Varadoss' head sank down with a look of depression on his face. "Simple jealousy and hatred formed by the creatures after the blood we carry in our veins. That was my races downfall. It's true that we outlived most of our attackers.... but stories by word of mouth have a tendency to carry on through generations as the old teach the young. Which is why for the past 24,000 years we lived completely isolated from all others just now re-emerging after separating and letting the rumors vanish into time."

He flattened his ears in disappointment, but the creature that sat there, curiosity sparked through him. He saw no threat in these wolves, he simply wanted a better look at this creature he has never seen before! How come he has never seen them before? He tilted his head, then started to pad forward, not showing any intention of threat, but at the same time, he didn't show any submission. His eyes locked onto the dragon, the smell of prey making his mouth water, his fur prickled, he should be out hunting real food, not strange creatures! But his curiosity dragged him forward, as if it was a rope, tying itself around him and dragging him closer and closer to the creature. He stopped, a few feet away from the wolves so he was have an easy get away from them, but he wasn't sure how good his get away would be if the dragon decided to be hostile. But, he was overwhelmed in his curiosity, it was going to kill him, he was close enough to catch the last words, '...why for the past 24,000 years we lived completely isolated from all others just now re-emerging after separating and letting the rumors vanish into time.' He perked his ears. Tilting his head from side to side, acting like a pup. His neck fur stood up and he narrowed his eyes at the ground, stop acting like a pup you idiot! He shook his fur, quickly, a small dust cloud arose and flew away in the wind, as his feathers would of done. Now, only if you looked closely, you could see the slight out lines of the blue tattoo that covered his body. He looked at the wolfess, then to the dragon, the wolf, then to the dragon. He took a step back, suddenly wondering if he should just turn around and make a sprint for it, but the humiliation it would hold! And he would also never know what this creature was, he would rather stay, then be embarrassed.

Curiosity burned inside of her much like her pelts fire like look, both the others had seen this wolf yet she was a left out. The way Varadoss looked at it, it didn't seem he was worried about this new wolf being a threat. But being such a large creature, would he even blink an eye? Vivid still listened to his story intently, picking out parts that interested her, or gave her questions. The thought of killing something because they had basic immortality still seemed unreal to her, not being able to think of someone who could be so greedy. And yet, here she was face to face with the great dragon, hearing his story of life. It was hard not to believe it that way. Finally her patience in remaining where she was was rewarded, being able to see the wolf walk up to them. She giggled softly at how he acted, reminding Vivid much of a pup. As soon as he looked at her she lost her grin and fell silent, tilting her head in question. He didn't seem hostile at all, at least not now, but he did seem a bit odd. The wolf seemed to just show up, and not even introduce himself. As much as she wanted to speak up and ask who he was, and what he wanted, she stayed quiet, listening to the rest of the story. Which was maybe what he was doing, after all, he hadn't been around long enough to hear it all she was sure. Perhaps this wolf was just as interested as she was in the mighty dragon, or maybe he was one of the killers Varadoss was talking about... If that was the case, he'd have to get through her first.

Sanka distrusted this wolf already. His fur wasn't brown, that was just dirt, no wonder Sanka scented an earthy smell. He narrowed his eyes as he stared down the wolf. That wolf could get as close as he wanted, because Sanka was now ready for him. Whether or not the dragon or the fae trusted him was up to them.
"I see," Sanka said, still glaring at the wolf; daring him to come closer. "You would think the punishment for destroying such a blessed beast would be great. Mother Earth could never forgive such a sin against her creations. I'm sure they were all put to justice, after all, their is a balance to be upheld."
He thought back to the people he had punished over his lifetime. The beasts who had committed horrible acts upon Mother Earth.
"And what about you Vivid; do you think such a sin could go unpunished?"

Varadoss looked at Vivid and then back to Sanka. "I would hope Vivid doesn't believe in such a crime going unpunished. If there is one thing I have learned through all my years of living it is to ALWAYS respect the balance and power of mother nature and never disrupt it or ignore it. What goes around comes around is not just a saying.... it's a fact. Every race that has ever took part in the killing of my own race as become extinct. The Teranith Dragons who lived about 29,000 years ago were one of them. They were mountain dwellers and had been living for a long long time before then. But a mere 5 years after their part in killing off the Timeless Dragons from greed, the mountain they had dwelled in so long, erupted with a violent explosion. It was a dormant volcano that without notice and in an instant became very much alive. What dragons didn't get crushed from the falling rocks from the eruption, were incinerated in moments as the lava rushed in to the caves they lived in. Ten minutes. That's all it took for their entire race to be wiped out for their vile crimes they had commited against us."
Varadoss looked up once again at the starry skies above them before continuing. "There were also the Ralian Wolves who lived around 26,000 years ago. As you can guess they too took part in the 'sport' of hunting us out of anger and jealousy. They were a pack of savages to begin with choosing to live in a forest far away from these lands. Their end wasn't so quick as the Teranith dragons' was. 8 years after hunting my kind the lush forest they took refuge in began to wither and die. Rain hadn't fallen for months. And all it took was a single spark from a piece of flint that broke off from a larger source and striking another rock on the ground to start the wildfire that wiped out nearly their entire race. The few that had made it out in time were of the lower ranks in their pack. The Alphas... betas... all of their best and highest ranks died. And the battle that followed to struggle for leadership and power is what finished them off. Funny enough the wild fire was put out by an immense thunderstorm shortly after the pack had died off. The fire was a mere 2 miles from the border of pack lands that housed some of the most peaceful wolves I have known to this day when it was extinguished. Mother nature protects those who respect her and the balance of creatures she has set. Those who disrupt the balance and have no care for her unfathomable power, are met with relentless and merciless events."
Varadoss let out a massive yawn and finished the half eaten dear that was still lying before him before finishing his story. "EVERY race that took part in killing us had met with some unfortunate end. All of which were started by mother nature herself with fierce, catastrophic results and without warning. Sadly they weren't eliminated fast enough as they had already spread the stories to other creatures before their own end. That is how the cycle continued. It is also why my family has hidden for so long. to end the rumors so when we were never found, we were presumed dead and extinct. You are the only ones to this day that I personally know of that know about this and the events of the past that I have told you. For some reason I have a feeling I can trust y'all. That is one of the reasons that I have shared this with you."

His ears perked, "Uh... then sorry for intruding..." He muttered as he started to back up, then he got the glare of the wolf. He straightened up, returning the glare. It was normal for him, to take on a challenge, even if he might lose. He would definitely lose in this challenge, he was very low on energy. Panic flashed in his eyes and he stomped the ground angrily, You don't even have enough energy to fly! You idiot! You might as well die here and stop the spread of my idiocy to others! He looked at the creature, dragon, huh? I feel as if I intruded on something important, maybe I should pick up my manners, but does it really matter if I am to die? I guess it would- His eyes stopped on the deer. No stomach! Anything but this, please! He wailed to himself, trying to time it right, when his stomach growled, he let out a fake series of coughing, trying to cover it up. He rolled his eyes at the ground, thats the most stupidest thing I have done..... He lifted his head once more, glaring at the wolf again, then her turned to the wolfess, he caught her name, "Vivid..." He said quietly to himself, before he had seen the curiosity that she had, he realized he hadn't introduced himself. Straightening up, while lowering his head slightly, he glared at the ground. "I am sorry for intruding, my name is Dion." He said quietly, feeling the shyness overwhelm him. His ears burned slightly and his heart quickened it's pace. He glanced up again, his burning ears slightly flattened, his eyes big, he looked a lot of the pup he was. He wasn't fully grown either, for small for a wolf. The dirt seemed to hang heavy on his fur. He gulped, I must be the weirdest wolf in the world... He resisted the urge yet again, to turn and run. He shook his head slightly, acting like a pup again! He lifted her head, surveying the wolves and the dragon. Hopefully, he wouldn't have to fight.

Her attention was shifted from the wolf to Sanka's question, a bit suprised to be called upon. After having it answered shortly by Varadosshe, she dipped her head in agreement, speaking her own answer. "Of course not, everything bites back. Even if it just takes a bit of time." Her answer wasn't much, but it stated what she believed. Everything would get it's revenge, even if it was dead. There indeed was a balance to be held. Her bright silver hues shifted between Varadoss as he talked and the wolf who acted so strange; almost laughing out as she watched him glare at Sanka, who might of started it first. The fae stretched out a bit and sat up on her haunches, being able to see faint traces of colour on the wolf, but in the dark she couldn't tell the colour. As he coughed she blinked, wondering what exactly he was up to. For some reason, it didn't seem like a real cough to her. Her head tilted as she caught her name from under his breath, shifting her front paws in the dirt a bit uncomfortably before he finally said his name. With a slight smile she nodded a greeting, noticing his behavior and finding him one of the most amusing things she'd seen in a while. Sanka seemed less at ease with the wolf and she wondered if he's seen him before, or simply judged on first looks. If it was first looks, she'd of been more tense too. "Haha, I'm glad." She replied to the dragon before her at his last comment. "Your story is definately an interesting one, I'm glad to of been told it. And if it counts for anything, I woudn't want such a long life anyways." OOC: Oh no, my muse! D: -Chased after it.; Couldn't have anything to do with it being 7 am either...

Sanka watched as the wolf made his way closer and closer, as if fighting with himself to get there. When he finally introduced himself Sanka had already lost all interest in meeting him. His marking were visible enough for Sanka to know he was concealing his true self, whether or not he had done it on purpose Sanka would find out later. As for now the wolf was treading on thin ice, and if it cracked he'd be swallowed up in darkness. Sanka tried to suppress his shadow energy from leaking out but failed. The amount that rose off of him as a dark mist did slow and thin out but he couldn't stop it completely. Not without activating the beast within him who would readily destroy the new wolf, and that was a side he'd rather keep within.
Sanka nodded at Vivid's answer. Although he did seek the immortality of a dakkan it wasn't to live forever. He HAD to know what went on when you passed through death. He needed to know why when you came back you were never the same. The immortality of the dragon was different than that and Sanka cold benefit nothing from it. Besides being tied to another creature the way the dragon had described seemed pretty dangerous.
He stood up and stretched then sat down again. He felt tense, probably just because the new wolf had yet to earn his trust.
"Your amour, does it age?" he asked.
Since it was metal he assumed it would eventually corrode and the dragon would have to refit but he couldn't think of any blacksmith who readily made amour so large.

Varadoss began to answer Sanka's question. "The short answer to that is no, my armor does not age. To go in to more detail it is made of very precious and special metals and stones. Diamonds crushed to the point of being dust smelted within the armor is one of the things that make it immune to aging as well as give it immense resistance to scratching and denting. It's also made with Steel and the scales of each of my family members. Melting down and combining the scales of multiple Timeless dragons in to one grants the unique ability to allow any solid to conform to objects around it without losing any of its original properties. This metal can form around me like a piece of cloth but still be as strong as if it wasn't."
Varadoss looked to the skies and continued. "There are other materials that make up its structure but they can't be found on this planet anymore. The resources have been exhausted and are non-existent anymore. One of which is Lutetium. A silvery white metal ore, very heavy, and is a catalyst in the armor which prevents rusting entirely. Is that a satisfactory answer?"

Dion
He caught it, 'It's also made with Steel and the scales of each of my family members. Melting down and combining the scales of multiple Timeless dragons in to...' Timeless dragon? He thought to himself, from what he had heard from the story, and what he was explaining, this creature, or Timeless Dragon, has lived for a long time. Questions filled his eyes, how does he live so long? Is there others like him? Is he ever lonely by himself? Before he could ask, he felt something prickle his fur. He glanced at the hostile wolf from before, darkness seemed to gather around him, the fur on Dion's neck rose. He certainly had no energy for magic, not even enough for a get away. He started to take steps back, he didn't feel welcome here. He should of never came here. He had already learned what the creature was, but why was a part of him so insisted to stay? Suddenly feeling annoyed, he barred his fangs at Sanka. "Why must you believe me hostile if I haven't made one move to harm any of you?" He suddenly regretted what he said. Opening his mouth, as if to correct what he said, but nothing came out. He posed in a position that would make it easy to jump in the air, and fly a short distance, but he was tired, and covered in dirt. "I-if you want me to leave, just say so and not glare at me!" He added lamely as he took another step back. This had shaken off more dirt, Dion noted, now a pale blue was starting to show. He intentionally started shaking, as if shaking off water, dirt flew off of him, into the wind, and he stood as tall as he could, though he was young, and only 2'11", his bright blue mask was now easy to see, thought he was still slightly dirty, all his blue designs were seen. He blinked his large blue eyes, for a second, not taking his eyes off the male wolf in front of him. (It was my b-day yesterday x3)
