Kayla's eyes twitched as small droplets fell on her face. Her pink orbs opened and looked around tiredly, a light sigh leaving her maw as she shut them again. Well, suppose I can't lay here forever... she thought miserably as she forced herself to stand up. The wind shot a cold steam of water into her face and she shook it off, highly upset. Kayla finally opened her eyes and took in her surroundings, it was a grassy field that seemed to continue forever on the one side, and lead to a rocky outcrop on the other. The green blades waved energetically in the fierce wind and seemed to be pummeled by the light drops of rain. Kayla shook out her pelt and a light mist flew off of her in every direction. Kayla paused after shaking and looked up, trying to see the horns on her head, she might have looked slightly silly, throwing her head back trying to see something right on top of her skull, which was rather impossible. Her light yellow and blue felt seemed to whip suddenly in the wind and she shivered lightly. "A dreadful day..." her voice seemed to disappear into the wind as she spoke softly to herself. "Get out of the wind you idiot, you'll make us both sick!" a voice yelled in Kayla's head and she let out a light sigh as she began walking off toward the rocky outcrop, perhaps she could seek shelter under a boulder or something. "Alright alright, no need to yell you know I can hear you just fine." she whispered as she strode, head hanging low, toward the rocks. One of her tails was hanging low, while the other, the bright blue, was held high in the air. "Don't you tell me what to do, if it wasn't for me binding to you at birth you'd be dead by now! I deserve half you body!" the voice yelled again and Kayla cringed slightly in pain, stumbling to the side but continuing toward the rocks. It was true what the voice said, Kayla had been binded with a spirit from birth, she was half demon but was near death, a dark spirit found her and saved her life, thinking it would get full power over her body, but only gaining light control. Kayla sighed as she came up to a large rock that leaned over to the side enough to protect her from the rain. She ducked under it and lay down, stretching herself out and grinding her horns on the ground. Her eyes remained open as she just relaxed for a while, obviously not wanting to move till the rain subsided. "Hey, get up, eat something." The voice yelled once again, but Kayla simply rolled over onto her back kicking lightly against the rock. "No, I'm tired, you wanna hunt, go hunt." Kayla said, rather annoyed but in a very lazy tone. "Why you ungrateful pitiful weak excuse for a half blood!" The voice yelled out, causing Kayla to cringe again as pain shot through her body. Kayla sighed and looked out toward the plains where the rain still fell non-stop. "Let the rain stop then we'll go hunting, you said it yourself, we'll....I'll get sick..." Kayla said, turning back to the warmth of the corner she'd been laying in. "Hehe, remember wolfie, I'm half of you, WE own this body." Kayla just shut her eyes and sighed, as depressing as it was, she did have to share her body, and she did have conversations with herself, and she would never be accepted for this, as depressing as it is. Kayla rolled onto her side rather violently, smashing her horns onto the rock. "OUCH! you idiotic pest of a creature, you know full well the only thing I can feel are your stupid horns! be careful!" Kayla smirked slightly as her other half shrieked in pain, then rubbed her horns against the rough surface again, grating it on the rock face. "Stop that you moronic excuse for a living creature, you will regret this!" Kayla just snickered and halted her torture. "Blah blah blah, so long as we're hungry you can't take me over, you're making empty threats." Kayla said with a light chuckle.
