Koramui.
The dark gray she-wolf padded lightly between the boulders, her auds twitching to listen to every noise. After her last run in with a much larger wolf, she was a little more cautious than normal. Usually she was very calm, but now she was slightly grim and nervous. She stopped herself, scolding her whelpish thoughts and continued along the path at a light pace, calming herself down and flicking her tail slightly. Her socked paw slipped on some rocks and she jumped back, staring at the ground like she was going to kill it. She snorted and reclined upon her tense haunches, tongue lolled out the side of her sharp mug as she took in her surroundings.
She had no magical capabilities, nor did she need any. She tipped her mug to the sky and let loose a wild howl. Crazy and calm all in one. She needed to find a pack, or at least others to run with. After her grandmother had abandoned her and her brother, she had been alone. She felt a slight longing for the black he-wolf, but she erased it from her mind so she could concentrate on her surroundings. Up ahead on the rocky landscape she spotted a rather large boulder sitting atop a hill. She stood, shaking her splashed fur and loped towards the boulder. However, a rabbit bolted into her path and she immediately went on the chase.
She caught the rabbit, feeling the life ebb quickly out of the small bundle through her jaws. She carried the rabbit over to the boulder and leapt atop the large rock. “You’re mine now.” she said to the rabbit as she lay on the rock and tore into the carcass. She hadn’t eaten in a few days, and she felt rather ravenous. She wondered if there were any others amongst the rocky landscape. Maybe she would find out soon.
