The young Toran had covered almost all parts of the Koori Highlands. Panting heavily, she dragged her feet to the softest grass patch she could find, and plopped her hiney right down on it, and glared at anyone else that schemed stealing it from her.
It was a chilly spring morning, but that was just fine with young Nascha. She was made for cold days like this, but she suspected that it would get warmer as the day progressed, something that made her frown a little. Oh well.
Her stomach gurgled painfully. She did not see a single snowhare since her travels. Whining pitifully, she thought that she might request changing her schedule to later in the day because she was exhausted from waking up very early in the morning, before the sun even rose. Not that she complained... well, she was complaining, but it didn't really grind her gears too much. If anything,s he was extremely happy to stay here with the Voyani pack.
That didn't mean she couldn't bitch. "Stupid mornings," she grumbled through excessive panting. "Stupid food not being available. We need to do what Giaku did and get slaves to do all our dirty work. Yeah... I'd be all over that."

Amadeus
Amadeus was making it a point to get acquainted with this new pack family and it was for this reason that he was out on the crisp highland. Despite the chilled air he drank in the brute was warm. He radiated heat, warming the air immediately around him a few degrees. It was the belief that it was this internal fire that made his colours run warm in the face of the generations of white and silver grey offspring. He closed his eyes and lifted his head as the fresh breeze washed over his face, bringing with it the scent he'd been looking for.
With confident direction now the blonde wolf picked up his pace to a brisk walk. In time he was rewarded with a glimpse of the owlish wolf against the greening grass. He made no attempt to conceal his approach for there was no reason to and, knowing the female's ranking, he figured the scout would notice him lumbering easily over the land toward her soon.
He paused several yards yet from her to watch and make sure he was not interupting anything important. He assumed she was not too preoccupied when his swivvling ears caught the gist of her grumbling. He could not make out identifiable words, but the tone was that of frustration.
"Good morning Toran Nascha," the general called out to her. If she had not noticed him before, she surely would now. "Do you mind if I join you?" He hoped that he might be able to aid her in whatever was causing her irritation. The somber looking would wait where he was until she gave her reply. Even if she weren't currently busy, it seemed best to ask. He was not going to throw rank around and force his company on anyone if they desired solitude.

No, Nascha had not noticed the wolf approach her. She was too preoccupied in her own 'I Hate Everything' attitude that when the male came within a yard away or so, she gave a yelp and rolled to her side. She quickly recovered, and in spite, wrinkled her muzzle and showed her teeth. What followed was a string of various insults.
"GOD-DAMN-MOTHER-FLUBBER-ASSFACE-CRAP-BETWEEN-MY-TOES!"
Her shouting made a couple of birds in the distant trees warble in shock and fly away. When the echo died down, she glared at the male, circled once on her patch of grass, and lied down again, giving a snort.
"You freakin' scared me! Anyway, you don't fool me," she replied, as if nothing had happened earlier. "I know you're after this comfy patch of grass. I won't let you have it! Oh, and if you're looking for a date, that ain't gonna happen either."
She haughtily upturned her nose.

Amadeus
The blonde wolf was entirely taken aback by the small, feathered female. The entire highlands seemed to be in shock following her... creative outburst. No creatured dared move or speak for a long few seconds and the silence was nearly tangible.
Finally he blinked slowly and tipped his head to one side in inquery in the absense of an eyebrow to quirk up into his hairline. To be honest, Amadeus wasn't entirely sure how to proceed. It was an uncomfortable feeling for him, this awkward uncertainty. Finally he gave a shake of his head and the rest of his body followed suit as though to rid himself of that feeling.
He took a few steps closer as he began to speak again, choosing his words carefully. The female didn't seem stable and he didn't want another outburst. "I'm sorry that I scared you," he started, apologizing. He really wasn't interested in practical jokes like that. Now, his brother on the other hand...
"I have no intentions on your spot, I can assure you. Nor am I looking for a date. My brother and I have only recently secured the Voyani as our home. I wanted to meet the rest of my pack family." His voice was low and quiet, but it didn't convey much in the way of emotion. "I am Amadeus."
