Things always had a funny way of happening. One moment he was there, minding his own business with wolfess he had deemed a close friend. Sure she rambled a lot, made odd connections to things...slept like a bird, but she was a friend none the less. She entertained him and he in turn protected her. Anyways, one moment he was there, the next he was fighting and then being chased by the losers mismatched pack which forced him into the rushing rapids of the river. The result: he was hopelessly and utterly lost.
Fuoco st on the rivers edge looking around. His fur was plastered down with water, the deep maroon color that covered his pelt almost looked black. Steam steadily rose from him as his body tried to dry itself off. It was windy so he wasn't exactly thrilled with being chilly. So he sat their glaring around. It was everything elses fault at this point.
He shivered as he let out a devious snort. He needed to get back to his own place. He could smell other wolves around here. And from past experience he knew outright: Him and others did not play well together.

ShadyoFayx sat at the edge of a river. She looked down into the water at her black fur. And her wide face. She amazingly blue eyes, and she was proud of her looks. But her past always haunted her. She should have never left her mother and father. And now she was always getting into trouble with the other animals. She sighed, she didn't really have a friend...and she was shy. Too shy to confront any other wolf. She tended to stay away from them, whenever she could.

Fuoco could do nothing but sit there and let the water steam off of him. He was like a cat in the fact he hated being wet. Then again, fire never mixed with water very well. He inhaled, taking in a nose full of water. His face scrunched for a moment then finally he let out a sneeze. The sneeze sent out a hot stream of steam. He inhaled and made another face. He hated that.
He wasn't sure how long he had sat there but he needed to move. He stood up and stiffly began to walk. It wasn't long before he saw ShadyoFayx in the near distance. He mde another face...and that face turned into another hot and steamy sneeze. Ah, he better not be getting sick.

ShadyoFayx stared off into the distance. She let the wind flow through her fur, enjoying the cooling sensation. She closed her eyes and stood, shaking the dust that wind brought to her, off of her fur. She turned and noticed a wolf silhouette on the horizon. She quickly started to pad over.

Fuoco snorted back the snot that was forming at his nose and made a face as the gooey crap danced down his throat. Eugh. He hated being wet for reasons like that. But even with his nose getting clogged and his body shivering, he could smell something. He stopped and tilted his head. Another wolf was near by. The only thing he could hope was that they were wanting to be territorial or take advantage of how weak he was currently.

ShadyoFayx kept walking. The wolf smelt weak, and a little sick. She could smell him from a mile away. She kept coming towards him and then she stopped, she looked at him and tilted her head, "You okay?" She hoped that he wasn't hostile.

He heard someone ask a question and Fuoco made a face. He really hoped it wasn't a local. He wasn't in the mood to deal with any one that decided to get territorial on him. If so, he fully planned on burning them up with a sneeze. He looked at the wolf and inhaled his snot, clearing his nose. 'If I said yes would you leave me alone?' He didn't give a rats behind if he sounded gruff. He was Fuoco, asshole extraordinaire.
