Alone Again-Open

Doll stood in the middle of a field, surrounded by flowers. Although she appreciated the enviornment that she was placed in, she couldn't help but feel...Alone. There was no denying the fact that she had been on her own for a year now, and that it hadn't bothered her, as she had helped out several loners on their way to whatever destiny they had. At this moment, however.. She was aware of herself more than anything.

Slamming her paws against the ground, Savitri's nails dug into the ground, sending small clumps of dirt flying into the air and leaving her large paw prints behind as she ran through the field. Unseen by others eyes, a small mammal was also running through the field, running away from the thing that was behind it. The poor creature zigged zagged through the field, hopping to lose the terrifying beast, but it was no use.

Lowering her jaw down to the ground for a split second, Savitri threw what looked to be a rabbit into the air before stopping and slamming its body against the ground once it dropped back down to her mouth. The sickening sound of bone cracking seemed to echo into the air, along with the rabbits high pitched cry for help before its neck came into contact with the hard ground.

Doll's ear twitched as she heard the death-cry of the rabbit, and she stood up, looking back to see the kill being made behind her. She sat back down calmly, watching, and wondering who this new face could be, studying what was occuring to better asses how to approach Savitri, and not get in the way of a meal.

Feeling pleased with herself about her quick kill, Savitri began her way back towards the forest near the field with the rabbit resting in between her jaws. But a small figure caught her eye before she could make it there. Head high and ears alert,she stopped and glanced towards the unknown figure which had appeared from the corner of her eye. Seeing that it was another wolf, Savitri lifted her tail in defense,giving out a warning to the unknown wolf.

Doll stood again, taking a more reserved and non threatening stance towards Savitri, lowering her head slightly, but keeping her eyes on the other. She perked her ears up, to listen for any response of aggression, but stayed fairly calm otherwise, displaying her mean for no harm, and for peace.

Seeing the somewhat calm posture, Savitri lowered her tail from its defensive state and began moving towards the forest. She curiously glanced at the wolf from the corner of her eye, not knowing what to make of it, but left any thoughts of the wolf behind has she continued to walk. Once she had made it to the border of the forest she turned her head back towards the wolf as a last memory before permanently leaving the wolf's sight and escaping into the dense forest.

Finally sinking her fangs into the rabbit, Savitri began to tare the rabbits flesh as she still continued to look for a place to rest. Spotting a nice shady spot underneath a tree, Savitri walked over and began to eat her kill while listening to the summer birds singing to one another. It was rather a peaceful time during the season, she half expected to have to fight two or three wolves during this time, but it seemed like the violence had stopped. Mostly likely the doing of a war ending,but you could never be to sure. Sooner or later some blood thirsty hound was going to rise against someone and a new problem would appear,but the only thing she could do was enjoy the peaceful moment for right now.

"Well, I'm not normalyl so stubborn about meeting anyone, but I feel like I need to be this time." Doll said from behind Savitri suddenly. She had somehow made her way into the forest, and sat a ways behind her, at a safe distance to not challenge the other wolf, but close enough to speak clearly. Her ears were perked up as she looked over Savitri, feeling a tinge of hunger, but ignoring it quite well.

Looking down at her kill, Savitri was quit satisfied that she could finish eating most of the meat that was on it. But she still felt the hunger in her stomach. Seeing that there was no meat left on the bones, Savitri slowly stood up and stretched out her legs. While doing so, she come to realize that the wolf she had saw before was standing a ways away from her and was staring at her. Now standing fully still, Savitri lifted her tall up in a dominant position and held her head high. She wasn't quit sure what the wolf wanted, but she would calmly wait for it to make its move.
