[glow=blue,2,300]She inclined her head a little. "It's the same thing, you are still nameless." He might see a difference but she didn't. Without a name, whether you had one or you just refused to give one, it still left you nameless. But what did she know. A look of sadness crossed her features as an old memory surfaced bringing a long forgotten pain with it. Her chest tighened to the point where she almost couldn't breath and her steps faltered. Hoping the giant didn't notice and that he continued to be his grouchy self she said nothing. The cat-demon that had killed her family and left her with her scars had given her his name readily and even the reason he had killed her family. He had tried to kill her, though half-heartedly, but all Kellyn could figure was her own demon blood had saved her. It had been the first time her vision had failed her and she had an everlasting fear it would happen again. It was the main reason she never stopped traveling for very long and probably why she didn't mind the brute's attitude. She could form no connections or risk losing them again. [/glow]

Whatever. He had his name and only those he deemed worthy would know it. though it would be amusing to suddenly tell her he was the true prince of these lands. He wondered if she would run or bow and ask for forgiveness or something. Granted Zephy never liked those who grovel. Such a lowly thing to do. If a royal wanted you dead, you'd be dead whether or not you were on your belly.
Then something changed and he almost ran into the little thing in front of him. Zephyrus lifted a brow and looked down at her. Well what the hell was this about? He thought about asking but then shoved that aside. If it was something personal, he didn't want to know. [/color][/size]

[glow=blue,2,300]He noticed but decided to ignore her. It was all the same. She looked up at him with a curious gaze. "So if I may not know your name may I at least know what you are doing way out here? Or perhaps why, for the moment, you have decided not to kill me?" With the way her day had been going she doubted he would answer her questions but she could hope. The silence was more annoying then anything else and if she had to fill it with her talking to herself, so be it. Grouchy ass brute.[/glow]

He should have killed her just to get away from her. He was made of stronger stuff than what he was currently going through. His black tail flickered slightly as he debated whether or not to answer. 'I don't kill.'
It was as simple as that. He hadn't killed Phobia and many others. Though he was taught to see them as nothing more than slaves, he was nothing like his parents in that regard. Infact, he had a feeling Charon wasn't either. [/color][/size]

[glow=blue,2,300]Kellyn watched him for a moment and shrugged again. She seemed to be doing that a lot lately. Still she suspected there was more to it then his simplistic answer but if he wasn't going to elaborate then she would just continue on. Maybe silence would annoy him more then she did. She stopped and stretched her leg gingerly, her shoulder screamed at her and she winced as she tried to loosen the tightening muscles. Her stomach grumbled and she sighed. It would be a couple of days at least before she would be able to hunt again.[/glow]

'You keep pulling it it's just going to hurt more.' he stated not looking at her. He sat down and proceeded to scratch his ear with his large back foot. Stopping he looked back at her as he heard the stomach growl. He could have offered. But what ws the point? He wasn't out to prove he was a nice guy. He wasn't. Zephyrus shook his head. 'You'd have better luck hunting elsewhere.' He stated, 'Big wolves eat a lot.' [/color][/size]

[glow=blue,2,300]She humphed at his comment. "If I don't stretch and use it then it will tense up and I won't be able to use it at all." She turned and moved into the shade to sit as well. "As for hunting I'll just have to go a day or two without until I can run again. I've done it before." And she had, numerous times, she was a clutz and not even her vision could save her from that. A downfall she guessed of having it in the first place.[/glow]

She had done it before which was a good thing, because he wasn't going to help her. WHite eyes eyed her briefly as he looked back out across the world. Really, he should leave. But crap when was the last time had decent conversation with anyone? A while. [/color][/size]

[glow=blue,2,300]"You want to leave but you stay, you don't want to talk but yet it doesn't seem like you want silence, and you are very far from being like any other being I've met." Kellyn watched him, as confused as ever and yet intrigued. She didn't get it. It was obvious he didn't like her, or to her it was, and yet he continued to stay in her company. It was bound to drive her already question state of mind completely crazy.[/glow]

She so easily pointed out to him he was a walking giant of contradictions. His tail twitched, flickering sharply to show how annoyed by the statement he was. While this was all true, he wasn't sure how to respond to it. He was so confused lately he just was unsure about everything. Maybe he was pinning for company of some sort. Even a loner would have to do. Then he took note, he stuck near a female loner. Something he'd only done once before.
FInally he shrugged, 'I can leave if you want me to.' [/color][/size]

[glow=blue,2,300]"I'd prefer you didn't. Your presence offers me a small amount of protection." She laid down with her paws crossed in front of her. "However your brooding silence and seeming hatred for the world is less desirable. You won't even carry on a decent conversation." White eyes narrowed at nothing in particular. Life was never as bad as others made it out to be. If you were alive then there was something to be done, something to be thankful for. The loss of her entire family had not soured her joy of life. Granted she was not always happy but in general she was.[/glow]

She didn't want him leaving because he offered her some kind of protection. He was being used and at the moment? He could care less. 'I've never been talkative.' Which was the truth and ever since Phobia's death, talking just never seemed like a good thing. She had alwasy spoken for him. [/color][/size]

[glow=blue,2,300]She laughed and rolled to her side so she could look up at him. "I guess it sounds like I'm using you. I'm more curious about you then anything else. The fact anything with half a brain would be wary of attacking you is only a small part of it." His comment about not being talkative didn't surprise her. It was a lot like stating the obvious but she didn't say that. She look up at the sky, it was beginning to grow dark and she dreaded sleeping only to wake up feeling just how abused her body was. "So would you like to keep going or stay here tonight?" She dropped her head to look at him. Perhaps she was assuming too much but he didn't seem inclined to leave yet. However she was not looking forward to morning either way because she would eventually have to stop and sleep.[/glow]
