Wind swept across the Nikko Savannah, beating down the waves of tall grass, whipping dirt and sand into the unprotected eyes of one very odd-looking lupine. He paused, blinking, his eyes bright and silver-white, like shining lamps. Nahovan looked very out of place here in the land of the Fire Wells; but then, as an alien Glaezestern, he looked out of place just about everywhere else too. His seven long, thin tails, twirled into a braid behind him, a habit that Nahovan did when he was uneasy.
The alien wolf had the finest, softest fur, silver in color, so reflective that he looked like he was made of glass. It didn’t help that he also bore his armor, which was also a smooth, translucent material that covered most of his body. The tips of those seven tails glowed as brightly as his eyes did. Overall, he looked like he was created from molten silver, or beamed down from the moon; and here he was, standing somewhat awkwardly by the rushing river in the middle of this fiery landscape.
Nahovan was very, very far from home.
He had arrived about year ago to this planet, trapped as a prisoner on a projectile meteor that landed in Mizu Lake—which was itself quite far from this savannah now. After being welcomed by a few friendly, compassionate wolves there, Nahovan began to travel, exploring this world. He could not go home, he knew. Even if it were physically possible to return, he had been banned from his home planet, banned from the ages-long galactic war that waged between the Glaezestern and their ruthless invaders, the Vekerukkuheiox.
This planet seemed more peaceful…it was not without its struggles, of course, but at least they were not engaged in a bloody conflict against another whole planet. Nahovan was keenly aware of how alone he was; he was under the impression that he might be the only alien wolf in this entire world. Finding a home here was a heavy challenge indeed…but he had to try. He had his armor and his magic to protect and defend himself, so he was now on a journey that would only end once he found a place to call home…or until fatal tragedy befell him. Whichever came first. He might be wandering this planet for the rest of his days, never settling down.
It was a somber thought, but traveling was not bad. This world was full of amazing sights and landscapes, so many of them unlike anything Nahovan had ever seen before. He took his time in each place too, wanting to give it the full justice that it deserved, because once he left, it was highly probable that he would never return there.
The wind calmed down, and Nahovan shook the dirt out of his fine, beautiful fur and resumed his path, following the river. He could not help but smile. He was alone, yes, but at least there was still much beauty to appreciate.

Time seemed to pass so slowly in the heat of the Nikko Savannah. Almost as if it were having trouble shifting from one hour to the next, but always moving forwards and never back. Another thing moving forwards was Kaie Seraph, a mongrel of a wolf, always having to move forward from being abruptly abused and cursed at by other creatures. If you caught a glimpse of her right side from a distance you would've probably thought, 'oh what a beautiful creature', but when you got close you would notice the total opposite left half of her. She didn't chose to be half a Winged wolf and half Druin. In fact she hated her left half not because of her farther whose heart had changed from killer to carer but of the Druins who killed her family. Yet it was a difficult thing hating half of yourself when your other half almost possessed it's own soul. No, she had one soul, but she had two defiant personalities.
The sun beat down on the two toned back of the forbidden creature named Kaie. Her wings occasionally flapping to catch a warm air current which was pretty difficult in a flat grass land. Eventually flying had taken it's toll on Kaie, she had to land to take in a few gulps of water from the gushing river below that she had been following. But apart from that she had been following the scent of a creature that had caught her nose so she had decided to follow the scent and it so happened that it was following the course of the river. Kaie gently glided down from the warm air and padded over towards the river where she gladly licked up a few mouth fulls of water that would satisfy her thirst for now. Her strong body shook out the dust particles from her fur and feathers giving Kaie a new revived look to her white and black fur.
Hovering her nose above the ground Kaie found the scent of the creature again, this time it was a lot more fresh and she could see the remains of odd paw prints in the dusty ground. Deciding that flying was a waste of time due to the change of the wind direction, Kaie remained grounded and trotted onwards curious of what creature lay ahead of her.
"I wonder what it is." Kaie muttered to herself. It was odd for someone to talk to them self yes, but because of a certain difference Kaie managed to somehow maintain a conversation with none other than herself.
"I don't really care as long as it puts up a good fight!" Kaie growled in a harsh tone, giving a small bark with it. Kaie picked up the pace from trotting to running. Her long legs achieving great speeds, pulling her wings in tight and her ears down flat.
"Calm down! You know that we're not here to fight, what's with you and fighting anyway?" Kaie ordered, her pace slowed but she remained at a reasonable pace. The scent got stronger as she ran and a glint of what seemed to be silver came into view.
"But I can see it! It's there! That has to be it, also you should fully know well why I like to fight bird brain." Kaie snickered as she slowed again to a trot with a large gait.
"Sometimes I wish I was free of you, but then life wouldn't be as interesting would it?" With that last comment Kaie stopped talking and continued walking.
As Kaie approached the creature it seemed that it wasn't one of the largest of living things. Kaie's height dwarfed the silver looking being with seven tails and it wasn't only that where the differences ended. As curiosity prevailed, Kaie approached with caution, extending her large opposite coloured wings behind her. She didn't know what the creature was or where it had come from but it seemed to resemble some kind of wolf, like herself.

Unaware that he was being tracked, Nahovan continued on his leisurely path. He had encountered some danger during his travels before, and he could defend himself well enough. The magic that he was born with on his planet had, luckily, not left him here, and the elements of this world were not so terribly different from the ones from his home. As long as there was dirt and sand, then Nahovan could always access a working arsenal against potential predators and enemies.
Generally, he had found that intolerance was as much a problem here was it was among his enemies, the Vekerukkuheiox. That cold-hearted race that believed it was so superior to his Glaezestern. Nahovan’s drastically different appearance here had brought him trouble. People always lashed out in fear at what they did not understand. The alien paused now to examine some fruit in a tree, and as he did so, he caught whiff of a scent from behind him. His nostrils flared and he turned around slowly, cautiously, those previous experiences having taught him to be wary of strangers.
When he turned around and beheld the creature approaching him, it was his turn to blink in surprise, a small double-take. It seemed that he wasn’t the only unusual-looking being roaming these lands. Nahovan had to look up at her, taking note of both her height and her split appearance. It seemed rather like she was two wolves sewn together in the middle. He gazed at her and wondered if she found him as odd as he found her. Probably.
Still, he was a friendly, welcoming wolf by nature. And since she didn’t appear to be hostile—she could have attacked from behind by now—he was going to give her the benefit of the doubt. “Why hello,” Nahovan said, dipping his head in greeting. “Are you a native to these lands?” Of course, by asking that, he was revealing that he himself was not.

Sanka was once again a wolf with no purpose. As if overnight, the Akatsuki had disbanded, scattering to many different corners of this land, some traveling even greater distances to find a new pack and gain new purpose. For Sanka, however, it wasn't so easy to get over it. He had lost everyone, all his loved ones, everyone he had once fought and killed for, all gone. He was a skeleton of his former self, wandering the lands endlessly.
Silently Sanka slumbered under a nearby tree doing his best to avoid the heat of day. He once again dreamt about running alongside his friends; this dream had become more and more frequent in the past days. He stirred at the sound of a voice. He opened his eyes for a brief moment before letting out an immense yawn that worked its way from his core up. By the time he was able to open his eyes again the voice had stopped but Sanka had heard enough to be almost completely uninterested. The being who had just spoke wasn't from around here and therefore was of no use to him. He turned his nose to the opposite direction of the voice and began trudging away slowly. He wasn't worried about being heard as the soft but dense jungle floor provided a great cushion for large paw steps like his.
He didn't make it far before he turned around, drawn back to them in need of companionship. Someone to talk to other than the birds and trees. His black fur which seemed to suck the light out of the space around him stuck out like a sore thumb so he decided to make a little noise too as to not startle the wolves up ahead. He took this time to scent the air to gain a better understanding of exactly what he was going up against. A Male and Female duo, no fear pheromones, nor blood. Seemed like a simple enough meeting.
They came into focus soon after, a brilliant silver wolf, with armour...maybe this wasn't going to be so pleasant. Then, not too far in front of the silver one there was what seemed to be a giant wolf, made out of two separate wolves. He knew all two well the traits of wolves with different eye colours. They often had split personalities, two very different extremes, and with the power she held with her enormous size alone Sanka could only imagine the outcome of what would happen if her dark side revealed itself. This meeting wasn't simple at all.

A gentle greeting came from the silver being, making Kaie feel slightly relieved that a fight would not break out at this point. Though as thoughts rushed through her mind, her other half couldn't resist picking a bone or two. It was her twisted fate, and this was how most things went wrong for Kaie in the past. Her relaxed composure started to tense and quiver, as excitement stampeded into her body. A toothy grin to Kaie's left side appeared, in the same movement, Kaie's right paw swiped at her own face leaving a pained expression strewn over herself.
The internal battle stopped but a small bickering contest was taking place in Kaie's mind. I could've got a decent fight out of him! How do you know that gore guts? Because he's not from around here bird brain! Just think would you, if he's not from around here then that makes two of us, also it means that we're not alone in this twisted world that we live in. I suppose, but still, that would've made the fight more interesting! In the physical world all that would've been seen and heard was a over sized wolf growling and snapping at no one in particular. But then Kaie's more often seen side took control and howled out something really unexpected. "Shut up you blood twisted maniac!"Silence fell in Kaie's mind but she now felt rather tired. Fighting with herself had become more frequent and dangerous to herself now that Kaie was getting older. Though for someone who didn't know Kaie, it must of been quite the scene. A wolf growling and snarling at nothing for no apparent reason. Kaie's attention then drew back toward the silver being. She placed a pleasant expression across her two toned face. Then the expression turned to sorrow as Kaie felt a little embarrassed for having an episode in front on a stranger. "Sorry about that, my other self wanted to rip you to shreds in a fight, but luckily I got the upper hand this time." She bowed her head in shame then picked it up again, keeping her head high. Yet again looking down at the silver wolf creature, Kaie remembered the question it had asked her before her episode. She sighed and looked to her left at the desolate Savannah. "No, I'm from nowhere, you could say I'm an out cast, but that's not entirely true either..." Kaie trialled off looking toward the sky in a saddened way.

Of all the ways for someone to respond to a courtesy…Nahovan had not been expecting this unusual creature to give a half-smile and then to smack herself on the cheek. That did startle the alien wolf, and when Kaie continued to be silent, Nahovan had to wonder what manner of beast she really was. It became more concerning as she seemed to growl and snap at the air, her eyes not focused on him. Yet he was the only one here.
Trouble. Nahovan tensed. Beside the river as they were, there was more lush plantlife and less dirt and sand that he could potentially use to defend himself. Granted, he had other ways of fighting, and that armor fastened to his body would protect him from most hurts. All the same, he would rather not engage in battle here with this large ferocious-seeming female.
Then her voice suddenly burst out, but the words made no sense. Nahovan winced, but since he had not been speaking, he soon realized that she was hearing voices he could not. Only then did this stranger look at him, her expression calmer but more tired, and she spoke in a softer voice, apologizing. Naho’s tails tightened together in surprise and concern as she admitted that she had an “other self”…who was far more vicious than she was.
Well…it was possible, he supposed, but he also would entirely rule out plain madness.
Now that she had finally “won” her internal battle, though, Kaie spoke with more composure. Nahovan nodded hesitantly. “Ah. Then that is one thing we share.” He gave a thin smile. It was probably the only thing they had in common, he added silently. He had to admit, it made him uneasy to stand near a self-confessed bloody maniac who was only holding back by the good graces of her calmer half…a mad wolf.
Ever polite, however, the Glaezestern continued with his pleasantries. “I am called Nahovan,” he said evenly. “I am from another world.” There was no point in hiding that. He was the only one of his species, and a strange-looking one at that.
If only Naho had realized that Kaie was not the only being in the savannah who was keeping an eye on him. So concerned was he with the possible threat before him, that the alien’s thoughts were preoccupied with how he might flee safely or defend himself, should that darker half of hers resurface.
