I am having computer problems, so it might be a while until I post on topics or create new characters. What my computer is doing is randomly shutting down an open window and most of the time it turns itself off. So, it makes it quiet hard to post, especially because it takes me a day or two. If anyone knows how to solve these problems please do tell me, I would be eternally grateful!

Is your computer a pc or a laptop? If laptop, what type? Do you have any virus software and if so, have you scanned for anything? If so what did it say? I'll try and help if I can DX

Well, Windows XP is simply a version that can be installed on any computer. It's not a type of computer. And, that's good that you have Norton. I would recommend downloading the free version of AVG anti-virus, if you can manage it, although if your mom knows stuff about computers and can figure it out that's good. =)

I asked her what type of computer I have to google my problem and she told me Windows XP. I will ask her about that program. She is good with computers, but now is her busy time at work, so she cant do much now. I asked her why didnt take it someplace to see if they could fix it but she said thy couldn't do more than she already has.

If your computer is shutting down randomly it sounds like its just over heating and you may just have to blow it out with air. I doubt its really a virus or anything like that. Norton stinks but its decent in picking up viruses since it is a paid program. If you have that and have paid or it no need to get AVG. Funny thing is my computer started doing the same thing, turned out a fan went out in the tower so I had to remove the side cover and let a small fan blow on it from the outside. But cha, sounds more of a hardware problem than an actual internal computer program problem.
