The dragon narrowed his eyes at Oki as he stood before Sera. "I see you have some sort of...bond with each other. Lovers I may presume." The dragon lifted his head, looking down at the two wolves like they were nothing more than scrawny prey too small to eat. Sera didn't know how to reply, they weren't what he had called lovers, or even friends that had grown up together. They had just met. But Sera couldn't hide that she felt something more for him than a wolf she had just met. Before Sera could answer the dragon, Oki spoke.

Sera knew it was a smart idea to leave, but she knew the dragon wouldn't just let them be on their way. They were too greedy and deceptive. But perhaps if they could distract the dragon and slip away.... Sera's thought's were interrupted by the dragon's booming voice. "Leave? You think I will let you leave after you have made a mess of my cave. Just look at that carcass over there." The dragon lifted it's claw inside of the cave, pointing to the elk carcass torn apart on the ground. "Well, since it seems you are making us stay, I have some questions for you to answer.

Sera shifted into a sitting position. It was easier for her to dodge a claw or avoid the large teeth of the dragon. "First question; what is your name?" Sera didn't know much about dragon's, but she knew they preferred to be acquainted before answering questions. They really did have too much pride. "Mine is Serafina."

[Oki]

Oki faltered once the Dragon made it's assumption. He wanted to laugh, but the muse wasn't there to. Instead he rebuked, cutting the Dragon off just as he was finishing his sentence, "Pack mates. We're pack mates, comrades and friends. Aye we have a bond; a bond of family...And I protect my family", he finished with a stern look in his eyes, a warning to the Dragon.

In turn, the Dragon seemed a little surprised at the response the wolf gave. He raised a brow at Oki, as if questioning it or wondering what he fully meant.

Oki himself had a feeling that they couldn't just walk away from a Dragon. How could they be such feared and infamous creatures of lore if such could happen? Just as he put his paw back down, the Dragon sneered at his suggestion about leaving. Looking inside, he had totally forgotten about the meal that they just ate. Oki didn't want to do any bidding by a Dragon and wasn't going to take orders from one. Perhaps he could talk his way out of this. If not, he was more than prepared to fight. Hard eyes watched the Dragon closely.

Surprised, he didn't think that Sera would relax as much to sit down and ask it questions like it was afternoon tea. Straightening himself some, he wasn't going to sit just yet. He remained tense and alert enough in case if anything were to happen. As the first question was asked, he supposed it was a valid enough question, especially if they were to meet again. "And I'm Okamiimaru Reilukia Doashi", he spoke proudly.

Questions? They wanted to ask questions all of a sudden? He supposed they had a point. Names were trivial to those that could be his prey, but he preferred to become acquainted with others, even before fighting the other. Snorting through his nose, he too spoke proudly, "Attor*. Now what are your questions, Serafina the wolf?"[/size]

*Old English word meaning "gall; poison; venom."

((I thought perhaps his name could carry meaning if anything were to progress from here, like a fight or if he were to display his powers. What do you think?))

I like the name, what powers would he have? I think you should be the dragon. Because Sera is going to ask him about her parents and I don't know how I should do it.

Attor, what a strange name. She had heard other names like Lephisto or Theoradus, but never one she knew the meaning to. Poison? Venom? Did he have venom in his teeth or perhaps his tail... "My second question; have you ever killed a wolf?" She was strait forward. There was no way the dragon could avoid the question. It was simply 'yes' or 'no'. She wrapped her tail neatly around her. The feathers on her wings ruffled as she stretched them out.

((Alright, I can control the dragon, but lemme know of how you want it to go ^^ As for the powers, I was thinking they could mirror his name. So that would make him have poison/venom powers. As for how he would portray them, I was thinking he could either just spit venom/poison or his body could emit a poison and cover himself in it, almost like an armor. What do you think?))

Oki stood stern as the Dragon and Sera started their bout of questions. He himself didn't care enough to ask it casual questions. Though he did wonder how the Shinkou didn't know that a Dragon was residing here this whole time. He wondered for how long exactly nonetheless. Despite how much he wanted to ask, he waited for the Dragons response to Sera's following question. It would greatly depend on his response and how he viewed the large beast.

Hmm, an interesting question indeed, Attor thought. A dark grin curled on his lips, more smoke billowing out of his nostrils as he exhaled. Lips pulled away to reveal ivory fangs as he grinned. "What a silly question for my prey to ask. Of course I have. Why do you think I live here?" Attor chuckled, amused at how this meeting has turned out. His wings too twitched as he said this.

"Gia Raikiri!!", Oki shouted. It was the way the Dragon responded and it infuriated the male wolf. Whenever Attor would direct his attention to him, he would find that Oki had already shifted into his anthro form. His legs were spread, his left paw on his knee and his right in a fist on the ground. Bent over, Oki looked up at the Dragon with fiery eyes. Sparks were flying around his body, dancing on his copper fur as they snapped and popped. Growling, he straightened and stood up, steadying his stance. Throwing both of his arms behind him, he flattened his palms and pointed them directly behind him.

"Huh?", Attor's grin turned into a frown as he looked at the male.

"Get out of my home and stop terrorizing my family!" Just as he yelled, Oki disappeared from Serafina's side with a gust in his wake. Instantly, Oki reappeared in front of the Dragon and had used his immense speed to fluidly deliver a double open palmed attack. Managing to land it on his chest, there was a deep resonating boom that rippled through the valley. Falling back to the ground, Oki's wings were unfurled. Hind paws touching the ground, his wings folded and perched themselves back upon his shoulders. A deep growl resonated in his throat at the Dragon. Stancing himself, he prepared for what was to come, sparks still circling his body.

Slightly confused, Attor's eyes widened a bit with surprise as the male wolf quickly changed and seemed to emit electricity. However, he disappeared and Attor wondered what was going on. Before he knew it, a powerful blow was dealt to his chest and it knocked the wind out of the dragon; he gasped. The large Dragon was even pushed back a few feet. Front claws gripped the ground and his head dipped low, gasping for air. Saliva began to drip out from between his clenched teeth. Coughing, Attor's air returned to him and he lifted his head and narrowed his eyes at his attacker. [/size]

((EDIT: Ahh, I just realized you wanted to ask the dragon more questions with Sera Dx so sorry. How many more did you want to ask it, besides about her parents? If you want, I can rewrite this so you can or if you want, we can wait til later on when the dragon is defeated :P))

Sera knew the dragon's answer before he spoke. She could tell by his devious grin. But what caught her by surprise is what he said after. So this has been his home for quite some time. Sera shifted from paw to paw, nervous more now than she was before about the dragon having killed wolves before. Then it hit her. What if he killed her parents? How would she be able to deal with it. Before she could even ask the dragon another question, Oki transformed into his anthro form, clearly angry by the dragons' answer. The dragon looked as confused as she did.

"Oki.." But she was too late to stop him, he was in front of the dragon in the blink of an eye. With one fast movement, he somehow managed to hit the dragon hard enough to make him slide back a few feet. She hadn't known he was that strong. The dragon was gasping for his breath. Sera was silent, still shocked by Oki's outburst. Once he had caught his breath the dragon narrowed his eyes at Oki, clearly angry at his attacker.

Sera didn't know what to do. If she didn't do anything the dragon may attack Oki, and face it, the dragon was much bigger and probably stronger. She knew how stupid it was, but she needed to ask the dragon a question and she didn't want Oki to get hurt. She got up and stood between the two. Oki wouldn't attack because she was too close to the dragon and could get hurt. But the dragon....

Sera eyed Oki before turning her back to him, facing the dragon. " I still have some more questions. Ok, third question. Have you ever been to the HaruKani Outlands?" Her homeland, also the place where her parents were take by a dragon, perhaps even this one. He looked the same at least. And Sera didn't think he had a twin.

[Oki]

Body tense, Oki glared at the Dragon, waiting for what was to come. Expecting retaliation, he had almost forgotten that Sera was still behind him. Anger was beginning to control his emotions and he could feel a subtle feeling that he hasn't felt for ages. Remembering, he didn't want that to surface, or else there would be utter destruction in the valley and he would put Sera's life at stake; he didn't want that, never. Nonetheless, Oki was furious and enraged that Attor was here all this time, picking off members of Shinkou and he didn't know about it. It was his duty to alert the leaders of intruders. Even if the Dragon has been here for decades or centuries, it didn't matter and he should have known about it.

"Fool! How dare you attack me", Attor hissed, angered by the male wolf and surprised by the attack itself. Coughing again, he began to grin, seeming to like how this turned out all of a sudden. However, before he could do anything about it, the female wolf that had asked him the questions before hand stood in between them. "What do you want?", he frowned.

Sliding a hind paw to the side a little, widening and rooting his stance a little more, since it seemed that Attor wouldn't make a move, he decided to make his move once more. But before he could do anything, Sera stepped in between himself and the Dragon, "Sera?..." He was surprised to that she would put herself in between the two of them. He almost wanted to tell her to move and get out of the way. But she was really set on asking him questions and he had no clue as to why she was so determined.

Questions, at a time like this? Attor was confused with this little female wolf. Was she really this curious to get answers out of him? "You mean those easy hunting grounds? I don't know why they continue to live there and wander out into those flatlands. They're so easy to pick off", a wide grin exposed his ivory teeth as he spoke with pride. For a moment, he seemed to forget about the recent attack dealt by Oki, becoming swept up in his ego and his 'excessive' hunting skills, delighting in his plunders. "Now that I think about it, you remind me of one of my dinners. Black and red....oh yes, how could I forget? It's not very often I have wings." Eyes lighting up with his deliberate provoking, Attor laughed.

Oki began to burn with anger, beyond furious as to how arrogant and dishonorable this dragon is. More sparks erupted over his body, the amount more than doubling. "You shameful bastard! How dare you talk so vainly about our kind!", he roared. Bringing his paws together, Oki held them almost so the tips of his claws were touching. Soon, sparks jumped from palm to palm and a rush gathered and began to spin between his paws. A sphere of electrical energy formed and became larger until it fit well inside his palm. Holding it there, he glared at the Dragon, but spoke to Sera, "Move Sera, I don't want to hurt you", his voice was more calm, but still held its anger.

((What do you think about the powers for the Dragon that I stated in my previous post? Do they sound good or do you have some ideas? And just a reminder, tell me if you have any ideas of what the Dragon can say/react or do. :3))

Her father she thought. He had wings. And her mother was black in red. Had he devoured them both or only one. Sera couldn't think how she would react if both of her parents were gone forever. Perhaps she would forgive the dragon. No, she couldn't. She could never forgive him for taking away the only two wolves she had ever loved. And perhaps ever will.

Sera growled. Hoping for the dragon's sake he had left them be and let them live. She turned her head so she could see Oki. "Oki. Please just give me another moment. I have only one question for the dragon." Without waiting for his approval, she turned back to the dragon. "Attor. Did you kill my parents?" If she was sad or angry. She didn't let him know. Her face was expressionless. And her voice didn't change in pitch and give away her feelings.

She might be able to kill the dragon. Both her and Oki were strong enough. Her with her fire, Oki with his strength. But she wasn't a murder. But he was. And should be punished for his actions. It was decided, no matter what the dragon said, he was dead. She began thinking of how to attack the dragon. She could use fireball, but that was too small. Then firestorm it is. It was strong and was hard to miss the target when what your hitting them with is so large.

As Sera waited for the dragon to answer, she began using her powers. Drawing the warmth out of the air, the cave slowly began to get colder. She hoped the dragon would think of it as the night air reaching into the cave, if he even felt a difference.

[Oki]

It seemed that his provoking was taking effect, at least with the male wolf. Good, Attor thought. He wanted to enrage his prey, it was fun watching them defend their lives and everything result in futile attempts. No prey ever won over him, he was a dragon after all and wolves were his prey. There were a few that managed to put some damage upon him, but it was all the same in the end. Though, he kept an eye on this male; he posed a threat, similar to the handful of other wolves he encountered.

Nevertheless, it was rare for the ones he ate to question him, especially this much. The female seemed to know about his kind, at least to an extent and where he was. He supposed it was fair that they asked if he killed their family. "Your parents? Now why would you ask such an ignorant question after your previous one? I think you just want me to say it", he spoke casually yet condescendingly to her, "Of course I killed them; they were my meal and as tasty as any other." Facial features darkened and his tone told them he enjoyed what he was saying. Any predator would be. A grin spread across his lips as he lifted one of his massive paws, "Now, you're mine!" Beginning his assault, Attor threw his paw down at the two wolves.

Oki really didn't want to stay put. He could never forgive what this Dragon did or what he said. It was life, yes, and the order of the food chain. However, that doesn't mean that he couldn't defend himself. Oki believed that things were fated, destined and there are no mistakes, only experience. Despite this, he will not allow others to decide his fate for him.

Whether Attor killed Sera's parents or not, he still will not forgive his actions and threat. When he began to speak, he held this high regard for himself, an almighty self-perception. Wolves were predators, and yes, some had a similar personality towards their prey. Oki didn't, he held respect for his prey and respected their deaths, thanking them for being his meal. More often than not, he even will give their carcass a burial. An odd way for a wolf to act, but it was his way and belief.

Attor answered Sera's question and not much surprise came to him when he confirmed that he killed her parents. However, a sharp growl emitted from his maw as he said so, displeased. The spiraling sphere of electrical energy still between his paws, he was about to attack, but Attor thought quicker. A massive paw was falling towards the both of them. Changing plans, Oki went on the defensive and jumped upward with a powerful flap of his wings. His speed still enhanced, he used that to his advantage. Pulling his paws apart, the spinning electrical sphere hovered in his right paw. As if about to punch, Oki threw his arm forward to hit the palm of Attor's paw and shouted, "Senkiri!" As soon as contact was made, the spiraling energy created a grinding sound against Attor's scaly paw. Pushing a little harder, the Senkiri compressed and discharged. Because of the size difference, Oki was this time, flew backwards. Still unexpected, he was sent towards the treeline. Crashing to the ground, a dust cloud in his wake, he finally came to a stop. Lifting himself up, he rose out of the dust cloud that was quickly being carried away by the breeze. Now covered in dirt and debris, Oki assessed the damage dealt as he stood and brushed himself off.

Confident in smashing the two wolves, Attor forgot how fast the male was. With the vocalization of something, a burning, aching pain came to the underside of his paw. An explosion ensued and the male wolf blew back, he assumed from the attack. Upsetting his balance, the explosion caused the Dragon to take a few steps backwards and rear onto his hind legs. Looking at the underside of his paw, the scales were singed and blackened. Shaking from the shock, Attor was fooled again by his opponents, a paw now injured. Holding his wrist with his other forepaw, he looked up and hissed at the male.

Sera moved out of the dragon's paw just in time. It landed on the cave floor, sending dust flying into the air. Without even a moment to think, all she saw was Oki flying through the air. He landed against a tree before getting up. Attor hissed as he assessed his paw. The scales were now black. Clearly Attor had underestimated Oki. Sera knew what she had to do. She had been practicing for at least a year now and had gained some control over her form. It was her most powerful yet vulnerable form. Sera closed her eyes and only focused on the heat around her. Pulling it in, containing it. Within a couple of seconds she burst into flames. She was now a phoenix, flapping her wings as the flames danced around her. Before the Attor, sparks of fire began appear. More and more gathered before they became a flame. More flames began to form and they swirled around until they formed a funnel. The funnel made of fire lingered in the same spot before it touched the ground and snaked its way toward Attor. Sera was running out of time. She could feel her energy draining and could see the flames breaking from the tornado she had made.

The tornado reached Attor just in time. It surrounded him completely and therewas no way he could break free. It reached from the cave floor to the ceiling. But Sera couldn't hold it anymore. All of her heat vanished and she fell to the ground, changing back to her wolf form. The tornado lingered for a minute, the flames licking the air before completely vanishing. Sera laid on the ground, unconscious, her limp body cold.[/size]

Pushing himself off the ground, Oki came to his knees and was hunched over. He was a little surprised at how he was the one who flew back from his recent attack. It usually was the receiver who did. Though with a little reasoning within his mind, he figured because the Dragon was many many times bigger than himself, it made more sense that Attor didn't. Gripping his side, he was winded for a few seconds when he hit the ground, but recovered shortly. Finally he looked upwards as the air was starting to warm, he saw Sera up to something. Watching her concentrate, she soon erupted into flame and took the form of that of a Phoenix. Amazed, Oki marveled at just the form and wondered what she was going to do. Fire flared from her wings and more began to materialize around the Dragon. Soon enough a twister of fire has wrapped Attor in its fury. Oki watched, not wanting to interfere with her attack. Just as it had engulfed the Dragon, it broke apart and dispersed quickly. Confused, Oki watched as Sera went back into her initial form and began to fall from the spot where she was hovering. "Sera!", he called out right before she hit the ground.

Still trying to quell the pain in his fore paw, his preoccupied focus has left him vulnerable and didn't catch on that the female was building up for her own attack. The bright light of flames against the night caught his attention quickly and looked up to see the shape of a Phoenix hovering in front of him. Failing to react quick enough, Attor was quickly wrapped in searing hot flames, spinning rapidly around him. He could feel his scales heating up. Knowing if he were to stay in this any longer, he would cook. Though not having to react, the flames broke apart and vanished. Taking advantage of this, Attor spread his wings and flapped them, created large gusts. Roaring in anger, his teeth bared down upon where he knew the two wolves were. To his liking, the female wolf who had cast her attack upon him, was on the ground and not moving. Suddenly filled with dark happiness, he laughed, "Puny, pathetic wolves!...How can you even fathom the possibility of defeating me?! I am a Dra-!", he was cut off by a sudden sharp pain to his right shoulder. He shrieked in pain.

Finally standing up as Sera fell, his breathing hitched slightly, recovering from his fall. However, once Attor began to vocalize more upon his pride, it filled Oki more with rage and suddenly, his side didn't hurt anymore. Reaching up and gripping the pommel of his sword, he unsheathed just slightly it to show the gleaming onyx black metal of the blade. Crouching as if to run, sparks increased around his form right before he vanished towards Attor. The next thing he knew, Oki was standing behind the Dragon, his sword already sheathed at his waist rather than on his back as he yelled out, "Ryodomei Ookami!!" This is what caused the large slash across Attor's shoulder, as quick as lightning. After several deep breaths, he yelled again, "Shut up!"

Without hesitation, he ran over towards Sera was, appearing beside her and he picked her up and disappeared once more. Reappearing behind Attor, he had little time. Setting her down once more, he tried to stay quiet when he tried to wake her up. Shaking her gently which then increased to a violent shake, he still couldn't wake her up. Panicking, he looked at his paws and a revelation swept over him. Dropping them to her chest, one placed over her heart as another on her side. Forcing electricity onto her, he hoped he could revive her with a sudden jolt. If she didn't wake up after that, he would do it a few more times. If still nothing...well, he wouldn't know what to do...

Sera wasn't ready to go. She still had so much she wanted to do. Master Fire magic. Find A mate. Perhaps even have a litter of pups. She wanted to share her life with her mate and grow old with him. Not die in front of the same dragon that had killed her parents. But Sera had no fight left. No sparks to light her fire. She was as good as dead. But Oki didn't think so. He had moved her, perhaps away from the dragon. Sera was hardly aware of what was going on. Suddenly, she began to shake. Oki had grabbed her by the shoulders and was shaking her, trying to wake her. Sera managed to barely open her eyes, just enough to see Oki's worried face. "Oki," is all she managed to say. Suddenly Sera felt a pressure on her chest. One. Two. Three... One. Two. Three. Sera could feel the electricity run throughout her body. It felt weird. Like she had been struck by lightning. Slowly, she could feel the energy, the heat, come back to her. Sera gasped for air. Her eyes blinking groggily. She looked up at Oki and could see the dragon's head directly behind him. "Oki!," she cried out. Sera scrambled out from under Oki, pulling his arm soflty with her jaws and running out of the cave. She began to flap her wings but she couldn't carry the weight of them both. She stopped and quickly yelled at Oki, "Come on! We have to get out of here." She let go of Oki and flew up into the air, waiting for him to follow her.

[Oki]

Oki could feel the electricity pass from one paw, through her body and back into his other paw. He would charge up and shock her, hopefully jolting her back to conscientiousness. One time...two times...three times he tried and still hasn't revived her. Cursing to himself, he knew he was running out of time and could hear the dragon stumble around behind of him, roar in disgust and pain. Heart pounding, Oki felt like he couldn't catch his breath, Sera's name stammering on his lips. About to run a fourth surge through the female, she gasped and inhaled deeply. Startled almost, she called out his name. Relieved and overjoyed to see her alive, he lifted his paws off of her and left them hanging by his side. A few laughs escaped his mouth, just glad to see her back. Though seeming to celebrate too soon, she rolled out from beneath him and pulled on him. Jerked off to the side, he followed her along to find that Attor's head was directly behind him, his jaws snapping at the two wolves. Nodding, he agreed they should get out of the cave and into the open. Taking off after her, he could feel his power beginning to drain.

Limping his way around, the pain was searing on his shoulder. Snapping his jaws and letting out growls and grunts, Attor was appalled...no, enraged that his prey could do this to him. From now on, he knew that he would have to relase more of his power in order to just bring down these wolves. Hissing, he turned his head as he heard the two of them calling at each other to leave the cave. Flaring green eyes landed on the both of them and Attor let out another rage filled roar, it echoing throughout the caverns. Making his way out, he knew he wasn't going to be able to catch them, but from the looks of it, he also knew they wouldn't stay up in the air for too long. Exiting the cave, his limping soon came to a stop. Attor's deep wound began to steam with what seemed like a gas. A gel-like fluid began to seep from his flesh and pulled his cleaved skin back together. Seamlessly, his skin had healed.

After escaping, Oki and Sera had flown a little higher into the sky. Though not for long. Okamiimaru was starting to loose his momentum and his sparks began to pop and fizzle in and out. "Sera, I...we...need to land..." Suddenly, his sparks stopped, coming out of his lightning gear. Leaving his wings out, he quickly descended to the ground and he fell onto all fours. Breath labored, he shifted back into his winged wolf form. Looking up, he heard a hissing sound, as if a rush of gas was escaping. Looking up, his enhanced eyes were the only thing that remained. Confused, he saw something coming from the wound he just dealt to the dragon. Watching it heal, a pang of fear went through him. Not expecting him being able to heal by some sort of means, he wondered how he could defeat the dragon now.

Seeing the male wolf seemingly power down, this gave Attor his confidence back and he jumped at the pair of wolves. Landing , Attor inhaled deeply and reared his head back. Opening his mouth, the dragon spat a mass of bright green venomous acid at the two wolves. If they evaded, he would then jump at them again and attempt to smash them with his paw once more.

Suddenly, a glob of green liquid came flying at them. Reacting quickly, he reached over and grabbed the scruff of Sera's neck. Pulling her, he threw her and himself away. Once the goo barely missed them, it hissed and spitted as it started to eat away at the grass. Rolling on the ground, he looked up to find the dragon was coming straight for them. Pushing himself up, Oki saw the massive paw coming down for the both of them. Reaching back, he gripped the pommel of his sword. Right above them, Oki drew his sword and the next thing he heard was the clang of metal hitting a dense object. Grunting, Oki had stopped Attors paw with his sword, hitting his stained ivory claws.
