Appearance: Desdemona has dark smokey fur and blood red scales along her neck and belly. Her eyes constantly swirl in shades of orange, red, and yellow much like a flame burning. There is one pair of recurved horns on her head the color of ebony but the rest of her body is sleek. There is longer fur around the top of her head and ears and it tapers down at the base of her neck. Different colored feathers and beads dangle behind her right ear, one for every kill she's ever made not including food. Her body is sleek and she only stands at seven foot, making her somewhat small compared to many of her species, but she is quick and lithe.
Personality: Desdemona is quiet and tolerant of others but she prefers her own company most of the time. Her duties lead her to stay away from others and keep from forming connections. The wolfess misses very little that goes on in the packlands as she awaits her next assignment and she can become quite charming when the need arises. Desdemona is never fake about any of her emotions, truly feeling each and every one even when she is trying to seek information from someone.
Magic: Earth and Darkness
Spells:
Earth Whisper - This is more of an ability then an actual spell and requires very little energy to use. Desdemona can listen and talk to the earth and plants in a way but they do not always listen or talk back to her and they do not always give her the information she seeks. They are alive and in being so have a will to do as they wish.
Shadow Bending - Desdemona can use any existing shadows to create illusions of any kind whether it be creating a shadow creature to hiding an object. The more extensive and intricate the spell, the more energy and concentration it requires. Though this power cannot kill her it does become useless if she is too tired or weak.
Earth Bending - The most taxing of her spells, the effects are also the most permanant. She can control rock, dirt, and plants and use them to trap or redirect whatever she is after. Her aim is normally very good but she can only do this once or twice a day at most depending on the strength and complexity of the spell. If she attempts any more then that risks dying to feed the magic.
Skills: Desdemona has extensive knowledge about different plants and their healing abilities as well as the dangerous and deadly ones. She is sly and cunning and an excelent killer.
Biography: Desdemona doesn't remember anything about her childhood at all. She woke up three years ago in a strange place with no memory of any previous events. The demoness was half dead, starved, and had a number of wounds but not even the land would tell her about herself. The only reason she knew she was seventeen was because of her tail.
She had sought out the protection of the Giaku pack and had quickly become an assassin due to her abilities and loyalties. A grisley old wolf that helped her master her abilities had given her the name of Desdemona, he said it fit her. She has no flashbacks and no chance of ever remembering her past. (Anyone can feel free to have known her or whatever you wish before she woke up.)
She has an occasional desire to mate and become a mother but knows she would never do such a thing without permission. Even then she is wary about having connections that would become weaknesses in her eyes. In the end she sees herself as a servant but doesn't go out of her way to remind anyone of her place. Desdemona tries to exist on the outskirts of Giaku sociecty.
