It was the beautiful night of a new moon on this cool night. The stars in the sky shone bright but with no moon to light the earth everything was drowned in a thick darkness. Sanka used this to his advantage while slipping into the Giaku borders; It wasn't his first time but it had gotten far too easy, he couldn't recall the last time he had been faced by an angry patrol. He scented every few minutes to check just in case but there seemed to be none as usual, a perfect day for this meeting. He made his way through the packlands silently finally making it to his destination the Wabishii Badlands. The area was filled with dangerous creatures and the ground was covered with the fossilized remains of many so most wolves strayed away from this area anyway. Sanka was at home in the darkness and easily made his way through the maze of bones that would trip up any average wolf. He would use that as his first line of defense for any patrols that were scouting the area, they would definitely step on a fragile bone and crack it giving Sanka all the time he needed to escape.
He leaped up to the outstreched hand of a giants skeleton and took a seat waiting for his partners to arrive.

"No moon, 'uh?", Free sniffed to himself, "Figures on a night on which I want to travel."He didn't like dark nights, as his eyes weren't the best at night. Sure he could see fine, and he could smell and hear any threats or ones close, but his magic depended mainly on sight. Darkness hindered his accuracy if he were to fight. Though, Free never outwardly showed his slight dislike for nights, his boistrous attitude was still as strong as ever and was confident and eager to fight, despite if it was dark outside. Gathering information for a meeting to attack the Shinkou from one called 'Sanka', it was something that he wouldn't turn down. It wasn't that he had a strong dislike for the pack, but wanted in just for the battle he had a strong hunch that would ensue. Knowing more about the packlands of Giaku, Sanka told him to meet in the Badlands and Free, at least he thought, had a good idea of where it was at.
Probably taking the longest route possible, he passed through the Kareno Forest, by the Koukon River, a few feilds and finally spotted a barren landscape on top of a hill. Horrible with directions, Free finally made it to the Wabishii and his nose scrunched at the odd smell that wafted to his muzzle. Menacing skeletons jutted from the Earth, petrified and fossilized as the animals they once belonged to been long since dead. "Perfect for a meeting place and secluded enough...", Free muttered to himself with a grin. Before stepping too far into the different landscape, head turned to look over his shoulder, demon eye glowing momentarily. Finding no one behind him, he continued on, careful of where he was stepping. Noticing a familiar scent from recent, Sanka sat on top of bone shaped like an upturned giant's hand. Before any greeting, Free joined him and hopped onto one of the finger tips and sat. "It ain't surprising you got in here without detection...I've noticed patrol has been becoming more lazy", Free grinned at his new partner. Usually, he didn't ally himself with others or consider anyone a partner, but if he shared a common goal or similar views, he would agree to work with them. "Fitting place for a meeting between blood lusters like ourselves, 'uh?", he asked in a rhetorical tone.

Indeed this wolf was more than extraordinary. Not only had he managed to slip through the bones silently but he had located Sankas dark pelt against the moonless sky and all with no scent to guide him. Sanka examined the wolf; he was tall, much taller than Sanka, and his dark fur was marked with blue striped and patches. An over-sized fang protruded form his maw the other probably lost in some distant battle. A demon eye revealed a possible source for his magic, whatever that may be, and a foreboding message lay above his eye. A slight gust of wind once again brought no scents of patrols in the area making this far more boring than Sanka would have liked.
"Haha, you will soon learn that even your patrols could not have stopped my entering into your lands but it has gotten quite easy."
He wondered why then, if patrols truly had been lazy, it took Free so long to make it to their meeting place. It had been dark for well over 4 hours now and their selected meeting time was at dark. Nevertheless he had made it, which was saying something since Kash hadn't made it yet. Sanka scanned the area once more looking for Kash's distinctive flaming coat.
Tired of Waiting Sanka began the meeting. He meant to cover things like the changing of names, abilities, and how the group would be run. Doing those things with only Free here would mean he would have to go over with everything with Kash when he arrived. How he hated repeating himself. He proceeded nevertheless.
I've decided it would be best not to use our names since some of our members, such as yourself, may have previous alignments. I'm not one for nicknames but I figured the number in which we joined would be a good enough. That would make me ichi and you ni. Although an eye like that is rather unmistakeable."

"As are the flames upon my form," came a deep voice. Sanka's focus on his discussion with Free had perhaps been the reason he had been able to come up behind him unnoticed. Or perhaps it had been the use of Kash's shadow ability to come up in the shadow of the skeleton upon which Sanka sat. Perhaps Sanka even really did notice him and decided to finish what he had been saying before ackowledging him. Either way did not matter. For Kash, it had been somewhat difficult to evade the patrols. It was a dark night, but that didn't mean they weren't watching. Perhaps the others had slipped by at the right time. Nevertheless, the point was he was here.
He had caught most of what Sanka said, and got the gist. That would make him San.. but he waited for Sanka to dub him thus. Mainly because he recognized him as the organizer of this group and would let him have his fun.
Fiery eyes looked at Free, giving a brief dip of his head in recognition. Then, he glanced once more upon Sanka, having mental notes to himself that were entirely unspoken. He waited for the others to speak.

Claws leisurely slid across the cold bone finger that he sat on. The grin from before stayed upon his muzzle at Sanka's remark about the patrols. Free hasn't been a part of Giaku that long, but with his duties and abilities, it was easy for him to slip past them when he needed to. Nonetheless, Free wondered slightly of what Sanka was talking about; his own abilities, Free presumed. Eyes moved in their sockets, glancing around the them, almost aimlessly, although looking for any movement. Then they came to Sanka, who had a smilar black pelt as himself, although no coloration. His demon eye swirled, like a pupil would constrict or dilate as it stared at the wolf. The one thing that stood out though were Sanka's bright red eyes, menacing they were. Admiring them, Free cast his eyes away and continued to look around as he spoke.
Curious as to where the others were, he was surprised that he was first, being it felt he took so long to get here in the first place. As Sanka finished his speech of nicknames, Free gave a curt nod in affirming his nickname. Fangs bared in a boastful grin when his eye was mentioned, "Heh."
A voice came from the side, a dark figure padded towards them, although an illusion of flickering came from his legs, guessing he was another ally of the group. When he greeted them both, Free responded with a similar nod, eying him in a similar manner as Free did with Sanka."This one has wings and fiery colors, distracting on a night like this...", Free thought to himself, tail waving behind him casually, waiting for either for Sanka to continue or others to arrive.
OoC: I was hoping Mad would join in before I would respond, but I don't want the thread dying as the plot sounds exciting.
And Sanka, I believe its 'Yon', for 4, but I'm not completely sure. The Japanese language has 5 words for one English word :x

Sanka smiled at the appearance of Kash; It had been quite some time since he'd met a wolf with similar powers as his. Although Sanka could also move through shadows effortlessly he had no idea that Kash would be appearing behind him until his large angle of vision brought forth Kash's fiery image. His appearance was quickly followed by his voice which made it known that he had at least heard part of Sankas speech. It made him wonder just how long he had been taking shelter in the shadows. Sanka could tell that he and Kash would be doing many intelligence gathering missions together.
If you would have asked him a few months ago if he would ever align himself with a winged wolf the answer would have been a vulgar snort. He hated them, he still does, after all they are the reason his race was nearly exterminated. But times like this called for desperate measures and he wouldn't let anything get in the way of his vision, not even extreme bloodlust or the pride of his people.
They were both right though, they're markings would definitely give them away. It's the exact reason why Sanka's pack did their best to breed out nonsensical markings. Even Sanka's bright red eyes couldn't be traced directly back to him. Even so, this was the team he had chosen, each for a very specific reason.
"If you caught the end of my speech I'm sure you understand that you are San. Meet Ni." he said. Realizing they had both already acknowledged each others presence he continued.
"I just want to remind you that I am in no way your leader, just Ichi. You have no commitment to following my orders and I intend to give none other than the dates of our attacks. Everyone's input is equal and everyone will get their fair share of glory when we bring Shinkou to it's knees. But if their is one way to establish 'dominance' it will be in battle. That being said the only ties we will have to each other is a deep bond of friendship and trust, if you aren't too friendly then remember that we all share the same goal and try not to rip each others throats out."
Obviously there could be no trust if they knew nothing about each other, so he decided he would give a short introduction.
"My given name is Sanka, I was once the 3rd chair of the 4th squad in the Akatsuki. My spells center around darkness so if you don't like the dark it would be wise to stay far from me in battle. As you may have noticed I have no scent which is just one of many traits my breed was blessed with including an extremely large angle of vision. If there is anything more you wish to know about me feel free to ask."
"Please, introduce yourselves." he asked.
OOc::It's fine. I don't think there needs be any exact posting order as long as we don't skip someone twice once they've entered the RP. They should also be given a reasonable amount of time to reply.
And my counting is just based off of what I've learned from my Martial arts training since we counted in Japanese daily.

An unfamiliar, smirking, writhing form had wormed its way into Giaku's borders that day. The ivory beast stood out against the night, yes. But he didn't care. Stealth came naturally to him and though his colors didn't exactly work in his favor, he made it work. The crossbreed called Lucrian padded on.
The night was chilly; winter was definitely approaching. His feline-esque tail twitched behind him. Cold didn't bother him, and it certainly didn't affect his strut. The male walked like an alpha, head and tail high. He didn't care if he were late, and if anyone else did then that was their problem. The gold-and-ivory muzzle of the beast was curled into a smirk at that thought.
He lifted his tapered muzzle to the sky, scenting. Yep, he was late. He could smell Sanka, whom he'd come into contact with, whether the darker wolf knew it or not. But along side that smell were two other scents. Comerades, he presumed.
In the dim light of the night, Lucrian could see the giant's skeleton rising in the horizon. Something in the pit of his stomach told him this was the meeting place. A bit cliche, not to mention out in the open. But he wasn't choosing meeting places. Or anything at all, for that matter. Maybe he'd have to weasel his way into a higher rank, if ranks were even a part of their little band of rogues.
He'd find out soon enough, anyway. The beast slowly started to pick up the pace, watching the skeleton rise ever higher. And then he, too began to ascend. He began to levitate, true to his Taekra origin.
The Ierubi halfbreed was silent in finding purchase on the skeleton's hand taking up a relaxed pose. He hadn't heard the previous conversation, and though his entrance was incredibly rude, the smile remained on the ivory beast's face. The other wolves were indeed bulkier and probably scarier than he was, but he wasn't worried. Lucrian was a silent killer, after all. He could creep up onto an alert beast in the daytime, and rip out its throat without a struggle. It really wasn't a huge worry of his.
So wait he would.

I heard you wanted an admin in this...Tiamat here won't join your pack, probably, since she's a Giaku noble, but I figured she can add some tension in this here meetin' thread xD but let me know if she's causing too much of a disruption and I can kick her speedy ass out.
This was so boring.
As precious as her little niece was, Empress Lacrimosa was nowhere near as fun a leader as Tia’s father was. Tartarus always had some kind of amusing drama going on. Lacri had—well, a war, of sorts, with the overrated puffed-up Allied Packs—but that had ended with a tentative truce. Peacetime was less interesting than wartime, and Tiamat was seriously debating whipping up some chaos of her own, just to keep her niece on her toes. Lacri was especially vulnerable now, with her new litter of queasily adorable pups.
The Druin princess was hardly a princess, and more like a whore’s-daughter who hung around Giaku because she had nowhere else to go. She was fast, incredibly so. Her silver ram-horns shone in the moonlight as she sped through the Giaku territories, running so fast as to kick up a shield of dust around her. The dirt settled into her deep green fur and mane, dulling the brilliant color all the way to the end of her long tail, which was cloven in two. The mark was a remnant of her puphood, when Tia got into something she wasn’t supposed to.
And yet she never learned her lesson.
The Wabashii Badlands were always a fun place to go, and Tia enjoyed darting through the bones of the skeletons, practicing her control. Her large body could sometimes be unwieldy at her fastest speeds, and if there was anything Tia needed, it was balance—or else she would get knocked on her ass all over the place.
No one else ever entered the badlands voluntarily, and even the patrols were finding ways to get out of it. Tiamat took note of that as she ran. That was a nice soft spot she might be able to push, to cause Lacri to freak out a little. But Tia was doing it for her benefit—such an incident could only make her a better Empress.
Then again, it looked as if she wouldn’t have to do a single thing…
What was this? There were wolves here, a few creatures banding together. At first, Tia thought that another slave rebellion was in the works. Now that could be fun; maybe she could encourage them, being the daughter of a slave herself. But as she got closer, she saw that these beings were no slaves. Strangers, then; intruders on her land.
What fun!
Tia stopped short suddenly at a good distance from the unknown group. She might be cocky, but she knew better than to taunt potentially dangerous strangers without having a means to run away. “Is this an insurgency?” she called to them cheerfully. “You should have invited me. I love me a good insurgency. This is a good time for it too. My royal niece is cooing over her pathetically cute babies, and my royal nephew has been beat up so many times that he’s more scar tissue than wolf.”

OoC: Sorry this took me so long guys DX been really busy with increased hours at work and more stuff in school. Annyway...
iC:
Kashikoi listened nonchalantly as Sanka spoke, describing the functioning of the group, which he already knew, then speaking of himself, which he already knew, and then opened the floor, which he wasn't looking forward to. Bah, being as he had been the Alpha of Akatsuki for a brief period, he was hardly impressed. But that had been an entirely different matter and he chose to leave it alone. He wouldn't trounce on another's spotlight right now. Nope. Afterall, like Sanka said, they were on the same team for the time being.
He let out his breath briefly. He had never been one for much on the part of words. But he mine as well for those who didn't know him. "Don't worry, Sanka. Carrying out a job is something simple for me and always gets done." He paused. "To the rest of you who don't know me.. I am Kashikoi Kaen. I will not disclose my past, but I am likewise one to think twice before challenging." If they knew of his once defeat of the "great" Xaolon Xaion then yay for them. If not, it didn't matter.
However, his mind shifted from all that with the quivering of the ground and a feminine voice. Ah. Someone to the group who wasn't supposed to be involved. How interesting. He thought perhaps Sanka might have some sly remark. How boring.. hearing of her family issues. Yet why did this particular Druin look familiar to him? He pushed the thought aside. If she was familiar in any way... certainly he would figure it out in time.
"I would hardly say an insurgency, being as we are lone wolves... or at least, those of us with any pack affiliations are not those of our target. But, hell, if you have anything against the Allied Packs, or any desire to watch them crumble," he paused glancing at Sanka, waiting to let him or some other finish his sentence. As for himself, he just liked a bit of blood and chaos.

Another had come, and so they were 5. This wolf was Lucrian, the lightest wolf Sanka had ever met. He was almost sure that a gust of wind would send Lucrian tumbling in the wind like a dead leaf. As expected, his entry was silent and classy as he levitated up to join them. This was the one wolf Sanka expected to pass his test of the brittle bones on the floor surrounding them, it was a pleasant surprise that they all passed. All doubts of the groups success had left his mind. With a team of bloodthirsty warriors, stealthy assassins, and wise cutthroats Sanka couldn't imagine many that could or would stand in their way; even with their numbers remaining in the single digits.
Sanka nodded at Lucrian acknowledging his presence even though Lucrian seemed to be fine without his acknowledgment, a large smile spread across his face despite hi s late arrival. Sanka imagined he'd be seeing a lot of that smug smile
The next wolf to come, however, wasn't silent at all. Sanka watched as she sped her way through the bones coming upon the group. That speed could be a problem if she tried to run for help, from what he saw she could easily outrun him even while using his umbra paw. With her she carried the scent of Giaku but no other Giaku wolves followed her. Was this Giaku's attempt at a patrol, a lone wolf wandering around? Pathetic. Just because she was a Druin didn't mean a thing sending a lone wolf to patrol your territory is just irresponsible. Maybe he'd use this as an example of their insolence. Peace had made everyone weak and trusting, it was time to bring fear back to the packlands.
Before he could speak the fae opened her trap spewing something about her family. She even had the nerve to tell them about the weakness in their Royal family, surely that would affect the whole pack, it would probably explain the lack of proper patrols. It took him a while but he realized what she had said. "Her royal niece and nephew", was this wolf, too, a part of the royal family? She couldn't be, they wouldn't let her wander around alone, would they?
Cut off once by the fae Sanka was ready to take his turn when Kashikoi opened his maw and explained to her their purpose. That was a mistake. Even though Sanka wasn't trying to keep the group a secret he wouldn't want this wolf running away with that kind of knowledge before they made their debut. Would he now be forced to kill this fae? Although Kash had slightly extended their welcome Sanka doubted this wolf would want to take part and he couldn't see much use for her speed considering no one would be staying back during their battles.
Snapping out of his thoughts Sanka spoke. "If you want to see the Allied packs crumble then sit back and watch because they will fall at our fang. Who are you, fae?"
Thanks for joining Fely!

((OoC: Wow, compared to your posts, mine look so plain. I just hope this is the right thread. xP)) Nestor sulked through the forest of his old packlands. He was wandering again, trying to find an answer when he didn't even know the question. It wasn't terribly well-lit tonight, the moon currently faced away from these lands, though the stars kept their watchful gaze on him. As he trod through the field of bones, he didn't care when they cracked or splintered under his paw. Neither their destruction nor their preservation had brought him any surcease from his angst in the past. Why should it matter now?
Seemingly out of nowhere, the sounds of other wolves' voices carried to him, making him stop where he was. If he could hear them speaking, then they must have heard his clumsy canter through the skeletons. However, on the chance they hadn't, he walked more carefully, watching his paws as he approached the source of the voices.

OoC: Sorry guys for not responding promptly, just school and RL issues, blech >_< and for being relatively short.
Sanka's speech ended after the fiery male arrived, Free could feel a maniacal grin from upon his muzzle. Itching for said battle, toes curled and uncurled in anticipation. He couldn't help but chuckle about ripping each others throats out. Now, Free wasn't the such to rampage, but if one defied him, a challenge would ensue.
After Sanka's brief introduction of himself, Free didn't feel that it was necessary to explain his life in detail, but felt it was acceptable to share a few things. However, an interruption came before he got the chance to speak. Out of the corner of his left eye, the demon eye swirled as if varying in dilation like a pupil and iris. Another one with wings, eh? He couldn't figure out just from sight how he was an asset to the gathering, but assumed he would find out soon.
It wasn't as soon as the white male arrived a female voice crept up behind them. It sounded oddly familiar to him. Although being new to Giaku and his rank of an assassin, Free has spent time with the royals, meaning, Tia was somewhere around when Free was being briefed. It was a surprise, even to him, that she was here. It seemed though she wanted in as much as himself, not too worried about her home land. At least he wasn't only one who let outsiders into the pack lands. A short chuckle escaped his maw as she spoke of her family, one she seemed to have the need to escape from once in a while. "Plan on getting your paws a little dirty, Princess?", Free's fangs bared in a dark grin that followed.
"As Sanka has said, it would be best if we knew each other a little better to better function as a team", eyes scanned through their group, then continued, "I am known by Free, my real name lost in the ages of time. After stealing this very eye from a demonic sorcerer, I have obtained a demensional magic. However, I was caught and locked up for almost three centuries. I'm not sure how I escaped, as I was blindfolded the whole time, just someone opened my cell door and led me out..." Free then grinned, almost with pride, "And by the way, I am immortal, if you have not guessed."

Immortal, Sanka wanted to put that to the test. Surely if Sanka ripped out Free's throat it wouldn't just grow back...would it? He had only ever met another immortal being and he didn't have time to ask the large dragon about how it really worked.
Sanka was snapped out of thought by the sound of snapping bones. Clearly whoever was coming next wasn't worried about making noise. And the only person who would tread so loudly was either someone stupid or someone confident, It must have been her backup! Surely the other wolves had heard the disturbance as well which is why instead of speaking he just looked over his shoulder at Kash knowing he would get the message. Whenever this wolf showed his face he would swiftly be ended my Kash's fang. He continued to size up the fae in front of him who had yet to answer his question. She didn't seem especially bothered by the sound of an encroaching intruder which backed up Sankas theory of it being her pack mate.

((OoC: Sorry for joining so late -_-'))
Esras circled silently above the gathering group. He caught bits and pieces of the conversations. How interesting. One group after the destruction of another. Esras had had a stint of his own in Giaku when he murdered that one family, but he soon grew bored with them and moved on. He wandered if that pathetic Jasha was still after him.
He vaguely recognized the female that ran up eagerly. From what her overheard, she was one of the royals. From his knowledge, most royals were prissy, pathetic mutts with a lust for power and little intelligence. But that was just what he had heard.
Why the hell not? He decided to join in on the fun. It had been awhile since he had been able to exercise his baser demon instincts. With little finesse, he dropped down in the midst of the gathering. His dense frame cracked the ground beneath his feet as he landed, wings spread and claws burrowing into the barren earth and chains rattling. He spread his wings out before he brought them to his sides and straightened up, sitting on his hind end.
His red eyes scanned the group (and with his eyes, he didn't need the moon to see) as his three tails swept the dirt behind him, dusting his pitch black hide. "Care if I drop in?" Esras' voice rumbled out of his throat and a smug grin crossed his lips, exaggerating his saber teeth. "If it be introduction time, I am the demon Esras." He scanned over the group again. "I will take no nick-names." he said, remembering that part well. "I could care less you petty reasons for them. I hear you are starting a war of sorts. I find things have gotten boring, and I want in on the mayhem."
No accounting for manners, but he never had any to begin with. If he was refused entrance into the little group, all he had to do was summon the bones of the creatures that surrounded them. He wanted to kill something, and he didn't care what it was at this point.

Oho, this was quite the conspiracy that she had wandered in on. Tiamat continued to keep her distance, but her eyes sparked with liveliness that bordered on amusement as a few of the wolves answered her—some testily, some haughtily. There was no lack for confidence in them, but that did not concern her.
“Oh, by all means,” she said graciously, in response to Sanka and Kashikoi. “There is nothing more I’d like to do than sit back and watch.” She didn’t like to commit to anything, but hell, if she got to bear witness to the antics of this little pack of chaos…she certainly would not mind.
Before she could make a remark on who she was, another—Free—spoke up, addressing her by her proper title. Tiamat’s horned head swung in his direction, her silver eyes settling on him piercingly. “My paws are perenially dirty, O Snarky One.” She flashed a toothy smirk, before leaning forward to listen as they started to speak of themselves. How trusting they all were, to speak so openly.
“That’s a fun tale,” she piped up after Free was finished. “But seriously? You couldn’t even break yourself out of prison after three centuries?” She barked a laugh. “No wonder you’re looking for some action, you must have died of boredom after all that time. I know I would have.” She tilted her head and remarked, “But be careful: immortality is overrated. Everyone said Emperor Tartarus was immortal, after all.
“Speaking of that dead bastard,” she went on, “I am his own daughter. That’s why you could call me ‘princess’ of Giaku, I suppose. My mother was his concubine, though, so ‘princess’ sounds a little too lofty to me.” Tiamat let out a chuckle. Whatever else happened tonight, this was definitely more entertaining than watching Lacrimosa slowly sabotage herself.
There were others approaching, which Tiamat was well aware of, though she still did not move from where she was. Her silver gaze rested on the most recent arrival, who introduced himself as a bored demon. “Hear, hear!” she cheered when he called for mayhem. “I only just stumbled onto this super secret meeting myself, but if there’s mayhem to be had, I want to watch.”
Would her nonstop babbling get in her trouble? Perhaps, but Tia had gotten away with it so far in her life. And anyway, she always found volatile wolves to be more of a kindred spirit than anything else—so, there was that.
