Midnight worried about Shasta on the way to the cave. She stepped in and laid down, telling Shasta "Come lay down next to me, by my belly so you'll be warm." She would wait for Thunder to do something to help her; she was useless except to keep the little pup warm.

Natsu's breath was steady and it formed into a cloud with each exhale he gave. They walked along when the group caught up with Thunder. "Indeed", Natsu laughed at Thunder's response to his question, agreeing and understanding. Before too long, a whiny female voice came from behind him; they must've caught up themselves.
Irritated, he sighed and puffed his cheeks, "Man, why you gotta be so whiny?", he spoke in a more comically irritated way and truly didn't want to be mean. He had just met the three and really didn't know what to do or what they were doing, so he just followed them along. Finding a cave and entering, Natsu sat by the entrance and leaned against the wall, keeping watch. It was instinct to him and didn't think much of it.
Looking back into the cave where the three were, he heard what they were saying. Figuring that perhaps they were cold, something that never happened with him, he decided to look for wood. "I'll return shortly", then he bounded away from the cave.
Returning shortly as he said, he entered the cave with a bundle of sticks and small branches that he dragged back. They were large so he broke them into smaller pieces and piled them up close to where the others were. Inhaling deeply, he then exhaled and a flame shot from his mouth, blowing onto the wood. Igniting a fire, he sat down, "There."

She whimpered softly as they made their way towards the nearest cave. She burned inside and did not know why. Once she entered the cave, Shasta growled in pain. She glanced to Thunder and Natsu, who had stayed at the mouth of the cave. Her head turned to Midnight who had told her to lay next to her. She crouched down and did as such, thought didn't help any with the pain. " it hurrttsss." she whined and suddenly a loud crack sounded. This cause Shasta to throw her head back and howled in pain.
She tried standing but when she got to her feet, her back cracked again, along with her legs. Her body looked as if it was being contorted by an unknown force. She continued to howl, her body giving into the pain and burning. She felt like she was dieing. Slowly the fur on he body begin to shrink and pale skin began to show. She felt her body grow longer and her head began to grown hair.
After several agonizing minutes Shasta was fully collapsed on the cave floor. She breathed heavily as her nude body took in the surrounding air and ground. Her dark hair his her face as she laid there. She looked human. Whineing softly. " what...happened?" she asked in a horse voice. She hadn't gotten use to using her human vocal cords.

Thunder didn't get cold either and the fire was actually a little to hot for her taste but she remained where she was, her red eyes scanning what she could.
The howl made her snap around startled for an instant. she had had no luck with finding the bright orange flower that would help with the pain but the movement and contortion of bone was merely fascinating to her. Thunder was an expert on bones and had seen this happen before, only the wolves were older and knew what was happening.
Thunder bit her tongue visibly when Shasta spoke then shook her head. "I have my own words but essentially it was described to me as a kind of magic." She mumbled then continued, "I'm going to look for something to numb any pain you may feel."
Feeling excused enough by this she stepped back outside with a sigh, the cold air was better for her this time of year, later though due to her breed she would need it to be hot and not cold at all, then she would be equipped for swimming and the hot sun. This was nothing like that though. She kept an even pace trotting about searching for any sign of poppies. Thunder had a supply at her den but here was far from it so she knew not where to look.

Midnight sprang up and away from her when she howled. Her fur stood on end and she was terrified for the little pup/human. When she changed, se added to Thunder's diagnostic: "You're a werewolf or a shape-shifter. You may have different forms than even this."

Natsu headed back to the mouth of the cave, eyes peering over the edge and into the snowy landscape. He was hoping that meeting the others that he could do something fun with them. However, he can't just leave them now, especially when one is apparently becoming sick. Huffing to himself, he turned to look at the whiny pup. For a moment, he wanted to tell her to quiet down and lecture her on she should be strong. However, Shasta's body started to twist and below her skin began to contort and ripple. Natsu's eyes widened at the sight as he continued to watch.
Soon enough, Shasta had become a female human and to be honest, he had never saw one himself up close. Speechless, he didn't know any answer to her question as he sat there with his mouth gaping at the sight and what just happened. "W-w-w-wait...y-y-your're a human??", Natsu asked in disbelief. How did she do that? And why now?, he wondered to himself.
Though, when Midnight seemed to know what exactly went on and spoke so sure of herself, Natsu looked over at her and puffed his cheeks and crossed his forelegs, "How can you be so sure?"

She was confused, a werewolf? What was that? She slowly wiggled her fingers, trying to get use to moving them. The pain was still strong, but it was slowly started to back off. Her breathing was mellowing off as she laid there on the cold rocky floor. Luckily the air was warmer in the back of the cave, or her nude skin would freeze, at least that is what most would think. Even though, she was in her human form, she still didn't know that she could use her abilities yet.
Quietly, her head shakily lifted, her dark hair falling around her face. She glanced from Midnight to Natsu as they stared at her then Natsu looked to Midnight. " Can any of you do this..?" she asked, her voice was still croaky from the shift in vocal cords. Fnally, after several minutes she sat up onto her bottom, her dark hair falling to where if laid upon her breast. She kept her legs crossed instinctively.

"No, I can't. But I know those who can change into that and more." Midnight said. An idea was forming in her mind. Sashta needed clothes, shelter, and to find pit more aboit this other side of her. The place she had in mind wasn't too terribly far away. "What do you all say to taking her to Abunage? She can get food and find out about herself."
