[Shasta Leigh]

(( i decided to take my two post from the other one and out them here. Lol so if anyne wants toreply tomit, they can.))

Shasta continued to run and run. Her pants were getting faster and harder, as her muscles burned for oxygen. She needed to stop, to take a break, but was to scared. She wanted to go home, where ever that was.(( not from here)). To be honest she just wanted someone to nuzzle her and let her know it was okay. Her rusty colored fur was laid back some from the river she had fallen into on her search for home. She shivered as the cold air and snow began to over take her small body. As she passes through a clearng, her legs stopped. Her blue orbs scanned around as her hair instinctively stood up now. She could smell other wolves within the area and she knew she could be in danger. She cautiously moved forward to hide under a small, dead snow-covered bush and curled up, trying to stay warm and hide at the same time.

Shasta kept her eyes close, pretending she was not there. Her tiny dark nose began to tingle as she laid in a ball underneath the snow-covered bush and she knew what was about to happen. Oh how she didn't want sneeze but knew it was inevitable. Suddenly her head came back in violently swung forward as the air rushed from her nostrils. She shook her head, and waited to see if anyone around heard it. She wasn't a threat, but she knew how territorial wolves were and knew they could possibly think she was. She slowly backed further under the bush, sealing her tail around her. Her body still shivered from the cold.

Asthe sun slowly rose from the East, Shasta's eyes twitched. She was waking up slowly. Her thin fur was laces with frost and snow. Gently she lifted her head, taking in the pastel blue,pink, and yellows forming in the horizon. She loved watching the sun rise, it made her happy, even if she was alone. Standing, legs trembled from the lack of heat within her body, and she sighed. She wanted to find her family or at least a wolf or wolves to take her in and care for her now. She slipped out from the con finds of the bush she was hiding in, sure that no one else was around to hurt her.

Crunch, crunch, crunch...her feet went into the new fresh fallen snow. She snuck down slightly with every step. Licking her lips she looked around again, this time for any sign of food. She was hungry and thirsty. As she continued to walk, the pan of the lack of food got stronger. This is when she took the leapt to howl. She hoped someone would hear her. She threw her head back and opened up her muzzle howling loudly.

[thunder]

Thunder heard it from her place by the creek. her ear twitched as she released a long and loud reply howl. She began to dash through the snow once or twice she stopped to catch food. she carried it as she ran towards the source. She saw the wolf and stopped in the snow spraying the powdery substance everywhere. Her eyes shone merrily as she dropped the prey to apologize for taking so long and hunting wile she came she then explained that she had caught some for her since she was hunting wile she ran.

She presented the prey before becoming distracted. She stared down through the ice at some fish. She quickly began pounding the ice till she got to it. She scooped up the fish as they passed by. She caught seven before turning to the other wolf. "Sorry again. My name is Thunder what is yours?" she asked politely. She was grinning happily and enjoyed the presence of another.

Hearing the loud howling carried by the wind, Shasta was hopeful, yet slightly scared. She did not know what to expect from another wolf, outside her family and friends, coming closer to her. Shasta turned towards the woods and waited, her fur standing up slightly. Shasta watched as the other female broke through the lining caring something within her mouth. She wondered what it was, but the thought quickly got answered by the smell, it was food. Her tummy rumbled as the smell took over her tiny black nose. She licked her lips and peered up at the female. "Oh, thankyou!" she yelped with thankfulness and slowly moved forward, towards the prey.


Her body stopped for a few seconds to watch the other paw at the iced and scoop up fish. Yum, Shasta thought to herself and then closed the gap between her and the prey. Bending her head down, Shasta opened her mouth and snuck her teeth into the flesh of the dead animal. She tore off a piece and chewed quickly, like she would never eat again. Her tummy tightened by the presence of food, but soon calmed down. She continued to eat until her tiny stomach bloated out. Sitting down she looked back to the female. " thankyou...Thunder ..I'm Shasta" she let her muzzle pull into a smile.

[thunder]

"Nice to meet you." Thunder said before munching on three of the seven fish. She had helped a lot of wolves and was happy to continue doing so as she wandered. She had no way of knowing all this wolf needed was food for if the wold wanted she could lead her to somewhere warmer. She licked her muzzle clean and decided to ask. "I plan to had to the fire wells they are much warmer than here. Do you wish to come?" the question was simple and clear enough she thought as she asked. Hopefully Graal wont notice I've left the Sub Serin. If he does he'll follow again.... She thought siting and looking at Shasta.

Shasta wagged her tail back and forth, content to the situation now. Her body heat had rose to normal, since her cells had food to make energy and heat. She gently licked at the snow,playfully and then glanced back up to the larger wolf standing before her. The truth was, Shasta would do better in the cold then she would in the warmer places. Her abilities, not yet found out yet would deal with ice and darkness, and what better place would there be for them to be used then the Sub- Serin. She yawned slightly and nodded. " Nice to meet you too." her voice was slightly more up beat then earlier. Her head tilted slightly to the right. Fire wells....what and where was that? Her brow furrowed as she thought and then burped. " oh, excuse me." she laughed and pawed gently at the snow. " well....I don't know. I was trying to find my way back home to Shi Kami ( somewhere I made up for her home to be) but I don't know where that is anymore. " she passed and continued to play with snow. " but, sure, I guess I can go." she pounced playfully at a pile of snow. The little pup was a happy one, given the circumstances.

[thunder]

She grinned at the pup and rose from her spot. "I used to be on a similar mission. Trying to find my way back to Italia and the Lahgeto forest. i don't know were my home is either but i wander still." she said before stopping to think. "How long and fast can you run?" she asked this so she could gage the trip and when to hunt. If the pup could run long and hard they would cover more ground faster but have longer breaks and more time to hunt.

She shifted, the fire wells were hot and would normally drive out a thick coated wolf as herself but if anything it was a good a place as any to hide. The environment there was much different but she had treaded almost all of Shinkou Ookami. She continued grinning. This was going to be fun.

Her ears perked up slightly as the other female rose. She listened intently to her words. Wow, she was a wonderer too? How did she get lost? These question were running through Shasta's mind as she too rose from the fallen snow. She huffed softly and watched her breath disappear in the air. With Thunder's question, Shasta thought. She really didn't know how long or fast. " well..I don't know, I guess until I can't anymore.." she was still only three months old. She lowered her front half down to stretch her back out some and she yawned. She shook the wet, snow particles from her shirt fur and walked around in circles.


Shasta was actually interested in this place, even thought sounded hot. She hated the heat. Later on, when she gets older, she will have long, thick fur. She continued to move in circles and giggled. " so, when we going? When we going? When we going?" her excitement was rising

"Now if you'd like." she said. She readied herself and leaped forwards starting ahead and challenging the pup to try and catch up. Not to mention she got snow everywhere. It was possible the pup would get caught in that. she went into what was a slow run for her to allow the pup to have time.

She had it planned they would stop at caves and when the pup was asleep she would hunt so it could eat when it woke. The series of caves she had chosen were not far from each-other so they could easily skip some. It would take a few days of walking but they would get there.

Shasta's head jerked around when she heard the padding of feet hitting snow at a fast pace. She gasped and took off after Thunder. Her tiny legs were being slowed down by the depth of the snow, but. She still pushed forward. She continued to pick up her pace and closed the gap of twenty feet to eight feet between them. When the spray of snow off of Thunder hit her face, Shasta simply shook her head and vierd right to mice out of the line of fire. She lowered her head slightly, allowing her body to move slightly quicker.

As the older femal slowed, she was able to close the eight foot gap to where they were beside each other. She panted slightly but was not tiered yet. " you're quick" she yelped happily towards the female beside her. She was excited to explore new places, but at the same time, scared that she would get hurt and lost. She hoped Tunder would stay with her, to keep her company, and help her.

"I get that a lot." Thunder said leaping forwards again leaving twenty feet once more and quickning to make it around forty. The first cave was near and if the pup was to tired to do the same thing again then they would stop. She once again spattered snow into the air as this wasn't a sprint or hard run at all for her. She slowed once more and stopped at the entrance to the cave.

"If you're up to it we can go down a few more caves." she said as she wagged her tail. Her ears were forwards as she examined the way the pup moved through the deep snow of sub-seirin. Later she would have to teach her how to prevent sinking into the snow.

[Midnight]

Her night blue orbs shot towards the leaping figure. She lost her concentration on where she was going and accidentally ran into a tree. Luckily she wasp not going that fast. Shasta simply whimpered and pawed at her head. She shook it a few times and then went back to running. He concentration was still easily deterred. She dropped her head low as she picked up speed once more. She was not going to be left in the white dust of this wolf. She challenged herself to push forward. Shasta finally caught up beside the larger wolf and eased off abit. "How are you so fast?" she asked when they both came to the first cave and stopped. She was catching her breath as she laid down on the cold hard floor.


After a few seconds of resting Shasta stood up once more and stretched her back and neck out. Her head was still throbbing, but she ignored it the best she could. " umm, I can keep going i think.." she knew she could continue, just didn't know forwhow long. She laughed softly and took off forward, ahead of the other wolf to try and get a head start, knowing Hunder would easily catch up and get ahead.
