Appearance: Tala is a short-ish wolf for her middle-aged-ness of 5 and a half. She has a gorgeous, red pelt that, sadly, makes it quite hard to camouflage herself. She also has a green, glowing flask hanging from her neck. What does it contain? Nobody knows... yet. She also has pretty, but functional, white wings.
Personality: Tala will often play the fool in front of those she doesn't know very well or knows she must battle soon, so they don't estimate her skill level correctly. She only ever talks in couplets and sonnets, unless she's in some pretty serious trouble or is really, really tired. With her friends, she is quite sharp, and often sees straight to the heart of a problem before most others realize it's there. She is very friendly, and likes to just walk up and introduce herself to people, unless she can tell that they're scared to death of her.
Magic: Tala has Wind and Light magic.
Spells: Wind only:
Listen Up: allows her to command wind to do things like make a tornado shield around her, gather some sunlight rays to light a cave, gather up a squirrel from a nearby tree, spread out her voice to be heard farther away than it usually could, blow away clouds, blow behind her wings or feet to speed her up, shape light, and things like that. It's hard to state a limit for this, but she used the carrying command for three hours once before getting tired.
Light only:
Electrifying: Lights up her eyes or feet (or both) so that she has something resembling a flashlight. She hasn't reached a limit on this spell yet; the longest she's run it is around 6 days (see the Werelight spell for an explanation)

Wind and Light:
Werelight: Uses wind to shape some light into a little ball (about the size of a softball). This can last a long time, she thinks, but the longest Tala's ever used it is six days. (She was trapped in a cave maze once.)
Dowse: (one of her favorites) This is slightly more complicated than the rest. With this spell, Tala assigns something's aura, a prey animal, an element (water, heat, etc.), or something else (cobwebs, a dry place, stones, and stuff like that) to a "slot" (really, just a mental term she uses for it; she can have as many "slots" as she wants) and if she wants to find that something, she uses her Dowse spell. When she "turns it on", a teardrop-shaped light appears in front of her. The light pulses slowly and is dim and small if she's far away from her target, but as she gets closer, it pulses faster, and becomes brighter and larger. Also, the pointed part of the teardrop points in the direction of the aura/prey/element/other thing. On top of that, a beacon appears over the place she's heading to, and if the thing moves, the beacon moves. The wind part of this spell is the wind searching the world for this aura, and then sending results back to her light-drop, which will process the information and direct Tala in the direction she needs to go in. Only Tala or anyone she decides to make it visible to can see the teardrop and beacon.

Skills: Tala is an endurance flyer. She flew for a week straight once (but afterward slept for 3 hours). Tala has a very good voice with quite a long range. She is very clever with words. She can also run for decent distances (e.g 16 mpday), but only for about 3 days. Tala would rather talk things over, but when push comes to shove, she's not half bad in a brawl.
Bio: Tala? Who knows! Even she doesn't remember where or to who she was born, but she does remember (possibly) being thrown into a river in a bag. Since that event, she's become quite the bard, an accomplished light magician (ish thing), and has traversed lands far and wide. She loves to tell and hear stories, ballads, songs, et cetera.
