i think of one song that fits my personality, but it's by Slipknot, and if anyone knows Slipknot, then they know it is NOT PG-13. So I got a couple more that aren't quite as good (there still good but don't capture my personality as much)
This first song always sends shivers down my spine. It's by Iron Maiden, an extremely famous heavy metal group. It's called Journeyman, and I love it because it captures the meaning of what it's like to go through life. You're faced with choices and often your back is against the wall. But this song is about taking the step to know what you want and go get it, no matter what it coasts.
This second song is a little different. First off, it's not a ballad. Secondly it's not about me. It's about how I feel about many people and "big" things in pop culture. I'm a goth, and the books i read, music I listen to, and clothes I wear is different from everyone else. I get some lip because of it, and the song I was originally going to show you was The Heretic Anthem by Slipknot or Divide by Disturbed, but they aren't PG-13, so look them up at your own risk. Instead, I offer you this song by Killswitch Engage called The Reckoning.
