Graal barely notices Midnight, his eyes watching her without recognition for a moment, her words washing over him, muffled noises with no meaning. "She could end up like that..." He feels a tug at the ruff of his neck, a slow pulling sensation, and he takes a hesitant step forwards, his mind coming into focus as he moves his body. "Who?..." His eyes focus just as she races off, taking another unsteady step, he catches his paw on a root. Grunting, he rebalances, his mind returning to semi-clarity.
"Midnight..." he mumbles, shaking his head to rattle his mind, "What...? What happened to me?" He steps unsteadily after her, his mind going in and out of focus as his tired muzzle droops.

Frozen shifted his wings, stretching them out and giving them a good beat before settling them against his back again as he waited for Midnight to return. Once she did, he blushed at the faith in him. At the fact she wanted him to win. It was new, the possibility of winning. Of someone wanting him to. This wasn't the first fight he had been in, and he doubted it would be the last, but he knew if he didn't win he would not be able too have Midnight. Where would he go, then? Frozen was not sure. He tried hard not to think of that alternate reality, and he failed. He couldn't get out of his head the possibility of losing. He had to win. He needed to win. He put the thoughts of determination to the front of his brain, and stared at the opening in the forest where Midnight had re-emerged from. Graal would be coming through those trees at any second. He did not look at Midnight- he concentrated on the trees. He knew if he did that he would again wonder about the possibilitys of losing her- how easy it would be to fail. He shook his head again to clear the thoughts, and continued to stare in wait at the forest. He did not want to fight, honestly, but he would if it came down to it. He was prepared to do so if need be.

Midnight had a feeling he would be discombobulated. At least, that's what his thoughts were like. Straining, she managed to transfer some short sentances. 'Come on, Graal. I need your blessing. You are the only family member I have. Either fight him or give the latter. If you don't it'll hurt me. It's hurting me right now. I-' she broke off, because it was too much for her brain. Sagging on the branch, she thought grimly, 'At least it'll serve to convince him more to come.'

OoC: So... if y'all would rather me wait a bit longer say so and I'll erase but I thought now would be interesting XD
iC:
He wasn't sure why he was coming here. It was the middle of the night.. he should be sleeping. But his mind was restless. This place was typically a spot where not many wolves could be found. It was often quiet, a place to ponder things. It would be perfect for him to sort things out, to ponder. Perhaps lay some worries to rest.
White paws tread easily over the terrain, easily avoided the brush and the trees. Golden eyes peered into the darkness, knowing there would soon be a clearing where the moonlight would brighten the night. It was there he could also find water to drink. It would calm him surely...
Sure enough, out he stepped, but the sight that greeted him was not what he had expected. He saw a wolf, tall, though perhaps not as big as he was. Still, he was above the norm and it seemed this one was too. He was a winged wolf, so perhaps he was not what some might think was the norm either. In any case, the other seemed like he was waiting for something. At this point, Ainoko was unaware of Midnight's presence in a tree across the way.
Perhaps he had come at a bad time. He didn't want to disturb someone else who perhaps wanted to be alone. Like he did. But then, perhaps there was a reason for their encounter. He stepped forward, ruffling his own wings against himself. "Greetings, stranger," he said calmly, his voice rumbling as it carried toward Frozen's ears. "What ails you this time of night?" His way of asking if the other wished to be alone.

(( I'll skip this bit, Graal's still getting himself back together and being slow, and I want Frozen and Ainoko to have a chance to talk before he steps in and does whatever he's about to do (I don't know, he's his own character XD), that way, I can cause a tad bit more chaos ;3 ))

Frozen turned quickly at the sound of a male's voice, expecting him to be Graal. He has fluffed out his fur and spread out his wings, but once he realized it was not who he had been waiting for, both dropped quickly to normal. He glanced over at the area Midnight was, and decided not to mention the she-wolf was there. "I suppose I'm just passing through." He replied, and he decided not to mention he had been expecting someone else. Instead, he figured he should just play it off like nothing. Better not to risk it.

"Ainoko!" Midnight shouted joyfully. She lept off the branch to him. Stepping foreward, she nuzzled him. "How are you?" Relizing she had an audience, she stepped back and looked at Frozen. "Oh, uh, er, Ainny, this is Frozen, Frozen, this is Ainn- er, Ainoko, that is." Well this was awkward as anything. She had absolutely no idea what she would say if he asked who they were waiting for or what they were doing. Nervously, she glanced toward where Graal should come out- should have at least, like about an hour ago.
Looking back at the two, she realized in that moment she couldn't choose one of them over the other.
((I really cant! >.< *whines* this sucks!))

OoC: Can't what, Midnight? o.o
iC:
"Just passing through." the other male said. Ainoko raised a brow, though shrugged. If the other wanted to keep to himself, that was his own business. He hadn't failed to notice the glance in the other direction but he didn't need to wonder long as all of a sudden out of nowhere came Midnight, nuzzling up to him and calling him Ainny of all things. Too surprised to pay attention to Frozen for the moment he smiled widely. "Oh, Midnight! Glad to see you again too," he said with a chuckle, though it seemed all of a sudden her mood changed.
She was so confusing sometimes.
How ironic was this... he thought to himself. He supposed she had been the one on his mind, the reason he was up at this hour, wandering, seeking alone-time to think. Well that was definitely not happening now, he could see.
But as he observed, he picked up on something else. Suddenly, the air seemed really awkward and tense as she introduced him to the wolf he had addressed only previously. "Good to meet you," he said, dipping his head slightly, though wary. Polite as always. He didn't think he had anything to fear from this wolf. He sensed no hostility. Yet.
But.. when his eyes fell again on Midnight. She really was a pup still wasn't she? Forgetting one so easily to swoon for another. It was not something foreign to him... a girl choosing someone else over him. A pang rang true through his heart and he stepped back slightly to keep himself composed. He glanced toward the spot where Midnight looked in the tree-line. So, she was expecting someone else as well.
"Well, I will say I think an explanation is in order." He said the words entirely calmly, his deep voice flowing toward her.

"More than one it seems." Graal's voice pierces the night air, a blade carefully designed to cease all conversation and focus on him.
He steps from the boulder he was standing on, favouring his front right paw and wincing with each step. "And I think Midnight should be the one to give it!" he calls, glaring at her. "I finally realised: I'm holding on too tight. Although I can't let go, I can at least give you the freedom to choose your own mate..." he thinks, trying to aim the thought at Midnight as skillfully as she could to him, but the others may have heard it too.
He glances towards Ainoko, "Awake again, I see, how long will it last this time?" he teases, smiling to decrease the insult's value to a mere jab.
Then he turns to Frozen, his smile fading as he begins to listen to whatever Midnight decided to say.

((Sorry for the late post. I havn't been feeling well and I've been waist deep in homework)) Frozen looked between the new wolf... This Ainoko and Midnight. They obviously knew eachother. He wasn't really sure how he was -supposed- to feel about that, but he did feel jealous. He buried it down with a dip of his head as they were introduced and a plain "Same to you." in his gruff accent. It was certainly awkward, that much he knew. He shifted his wings nervously, for he was now in the presence of not just one wolf anymore, but three. With his wings splayed wide open. He did not like this. His wings were supposed to be a secret, and he couldn't hide them without being left vulnerable. Frozen decided that was not a good idea right now. His attention shifted from Midnight and Ainoko to Graal as he entered the clearing, but just barly. Hopefully this would mean Frozen would not have to fight anyone. He lowered his ears just a centimeter, and returned his gaze back to Midnight as Graal demanded a explanaition. This did indeed need one, although Frozen was not sure he would like what he heard- as Ainoko's presence would likely need one as well. He briefly touched the idea of just leaving, going his own way. This was all just very confusing, and his own feelings on the situation were very jumbled. It would give him time to hide his wings again, at least. And to think.

((Cant choose between you two! Frozen and Ainoko are both awsome. And i have to explain awkward crap! I'm bad at that………))
She turned to Graal first. "I snuck out to meet Frozen to discuss… his wings." then to Ainoko, "I just met Frozen, and I sensed his wings and wanted to ask him about it because I didn't get the chance to before." Then Frozen. "I had met Ainoko a while back, and he helped me when I broke a wing, and then from another half-wolf that tries to attack."
