There was nothing here.
Absolutely, positively nothing here.
It was so..so...BORING.
Zoicite couldn't believe she had wandered out this far. And for what? For nothing! The white and caramel color wolfess stopped walking to look around the dead, frozen lands. Who was she kidding? Of course she knew what was up here. She had heard stories, had had foreigners explain how hard it got out here alone. And that's what she was, alone. Her ears flattened as the realization was starting to settle in on her again.
She was alone now. He hadn't been around as he had said he would. He was her mate. He should still be there for her. Not just gone with the wind. He disappeared out of no where. She had went looking but he was gone. Maybe he had gotten disturbed and buggered off. But why? Had it been something she had done?
She would never know till he showed up and there was no telling how long that would be. Letting out a sigh, she turned to begin the long journey back toward Akeru. Maybe she would run into someone on the way. Then again, maybe she wouldn't.

The harsh frozen waste land brought perfect temperatures enough for the giant druin female to relax and enjoy. It was that time of year, spring with summer just around the corner but so far north in the icy tundra it seemed the middle of winter. The northern winds picked up creating an icy blast that helped refresh the druin and raise her mood. Feeling at ease in such a beautiful cool place Glacier trotted on through the thick snow, her massive paws looking like giant chunks of frozen meat as her pink pads stood out from her white surroundings. The cold sheets made a loud slushing sounds with every step.
"THUD!" Glacier's whole body jolted as her paw slid into a ditch. Giving a good shake of her coat sending large hunks of snow flying through the air. Hackles raised and muscles tight the druin female peered down below. It took her no more then a second to realize she had trodded into someone elses paw prints. Deep and fresh that 'somebody' must be only a short distance ahead. Raising her eyes before her she spied the trail the previous wandered had left. Lowering her muzzle to try and gain a wif of the stranger but to no avail Glacier carefully considered her options. If the other creature was aggressive or dangerous she could have a serious problem on her paws.
Knowing it wasn't the smartest decision to make her presence known the white druin lowered her belly till it layed flat against the cold snow. Curling her tail up close to her body and laying her paws in a position that it would make it easy for her to leap forward and charge in needed be Glacier rested letting the falling snow disguise her. With nothing but the tips of her ears and horns on display Glacier layed still ready if in any case the stranger returned.

Zoi was unaware that some sort of danger could be around her. She honestly didn't think that with how cold it was up here, that the dangers would be living. Sure, there was snow storms and avalanches, but that was all. The wolfess was humming quietly to herself. She jumped to and fro, carefree and overall trying to find a way to cure her boredom. Caramel tips on her ears were starting to become white as the snow began to be whipped around by the wind. But she didn't care, she was happy as a lark at the moment.

Steadily breathing Glacier tensed up attempting to keep all noise to a bare minimum. Something was out of place with this image. With her electric blue eyes peeping out from the blanket of ice covering her hide the druin female suspected the brown shades of colour bobbing in the distance was that of the other creature. Digging her claws into the snow she took a good long look. From what she could make out at this distance it seemed to be another wolf. Unable to size it up clearly the druin rose on her paws. As she steadily pulled herself up the snow that had once been covering her slid off her coat like a miniature avalanche. Shaking her whole body Glacier flung clumps of ice in every direction. Despite her already imposing size the female druin brought her wings to appear. Stretched out and wide she attempted making herself look that much bigger incase the straying wolf was of some sort of threat. Her eyes glistening against the snow and her white pelt Glacier kept eyes on the wolf ar it drew closer.

He had been trotting for a while, his powerful white legs propelling him relentlessly forward. Sniffing the air, he scented other wolves. After careful thought and a few more draws of the scents, he confirmed that both were females. He was 3 1/2 feet at the shoulder, a typical height for an adult male. As he approached the females, only the black diamond on his forehead and the small ridge of black streaked fur that went from his neck to his tail truly showed on the ice. based on the position of the scents, and the caramel colored spots that moved in the distance, one of the wolves was on the move, the other waiting. Kale sat, his ice blue eyes watching with the same cold expression he always had when observing anyone. If the females noticed his presence, he would greet them with a dip of the head, and perhaps he would then approach, to meet the two. If, however, they remained unaware of him, he would then approach calmly, without aggression, to make their acquaintance.

Leave it to Zoicite to be the only creature within a two mile radius to not realize she was being watched. Kind of funny though. One saw the other, but the other saw the other. She stopped suddenly and could see the tip of something poking out of the snow. She grinned as she suddenly went down on her front end, butt sticking high in the air. She danced and skirted around the rock point, growling playfully at it.
She would get close, swat it, then back away. 'Ha! ha! Ha!' She'd sing, tossing her head back as if she was laughing at the thing in some evil manner. 'I see we meet again Foe Rock. You shall not defeat me again!' She sprang on it, then almost immediately got off and took a quick lap around it. She ran until she came to stop, her caramel eyes finally landing on the huge thing of white fluff that was Glacier. She was hard to see, but Zoicite was pretty sure it was a wolf.
And boy was she embarrassed.
Eyes looked back to the rock then to Glacier and she shifted slightly. 'I was...you know performing for you.' She said with a nod that obviously meant she had no clue that all of these antics were viewable.
