Name: Drejan
Gender: Male
Race: Wolf
Sub-Race: N/A
Breed: Arctic
Pack: N/A
Rank: N/A
Appearance: Drejan stands just above two feet tall, and a sliver longer than three. He weighs just shy of 90lbs, and built a bit lanky, though it's hard to see thanks to his thick fur. He has an almost pure white coat, except for deep blue rings around each front paw, as well as a single pale blue spot on the tip of his tail. His eyes are a very bright shade of blue, almost as if they were made of ice from the purest ocean. If looked at close enough, there is a very feint tinge of blue about the whiteness of his coat, along with his claws. He fur is very thick. Thick enough to shield him from the coldest, harshest winters ever imagined. It's a wonder how he's able to be around warmer areas without overheating.
Personality: Drejan is quite wary of new faces, and prefers to stay back and watch strangers from afar before confronting them. He will attempt to avoid fighting at all costs in most cases, using his combination of powers to quickly get away. If provoked to fight, however, he uses the same powers to outmaneuver his opponent and incapacitate them as quickly as possible. Among friends and acquaintances, he sees himself as the quiet guardian, keeping watch and making sure no harm comes to anyone.
Magic: Ice/Water
-Spells:
Whenever Drejan manifests an Ice power, the sky blue spot on his tail seems to go almost slightly transparent and creeps farther down his tail, as if the tip of his tail itself was turning to Ice. Whenever he manifests a Water power, the rings on his front paws seem to flow up his leg slowly, if his powers are used too frequently, the two different colors will soon collide, and if that happens, Drejan gets exhausted and can no longer manifest any powers for a while. When not using any powers, the colors gradually fade back to their original hue and positions.
All of his powers are much easier to use while raining, and need no water source.
--Ice Coat - Drejan would not normally be able to function in the warmer weather found anywhere other than the tops of snow covered mountains. He's learned how to harness his power over ice to give his coat of fur a coating of cold ice, just cold enough to keep him from overheating. As an extension of this spell, he's also able to coat himself with a layer of water, hopefully enough to protect him from a small amount of fire. He's also able to coat himself in a thicker layer of ice to help protect him against physical blows.
--Ice Shelter - Using water from a source around him, Drejan makes a small domed shelter just big enough to house two wolves comfortably. The walls, when made, are made of very thick ice, and the inside is intensely cold. Drejan can either for it with a door, to make himself a shelter, or without, to make a cage like area.
--Ice Roots - By manipulating a small portion of water at another animal's feet, Drejan can cause it to creep up to the ankle and freeze solid, rooting the animal in place.
--Glide - Using the slightest source of water if needed, Drejan is able to coat the bottoms of his feet with a thin film of water, and freeze more water on the ground. This causes a very small amount of friction between himself and the ground, causing him to move quickly over longer distances.
--Sub-Zero - By freezing the water molecules in the air in his direct vicinity, Drejan has the ability to cause the temperature to drop sharply. The amount of temperature is largely dependant on the time used, and the area. The less warmth generating light, and the more humid the area is, the colder it can get. Doing this also freezes the area beneath him, causing water to freeze and allowing him to walk on it fine.
--Orb of Water - By far, Drejan's most useful spell, he takes a small part of a source of water, and is able to manipulate it to float around and near him. Then, using his other powers, is able to fold and freeze it into either a shield, to help defend against attacks, or a type of weapon, to either stab, slash, or slam against opponents. Making it float around takes a lot of concentration after using it for a while, so he's able to freeze it onto part of his body, both to help protect, as well as hold it there for future uses.
--Misdirection - Using thin, and either very shiny, or very translucent sheets of ice, Drejan has learned to place many of these around him to mask his exact presence to those seeing him.
Weaknesses: Fire, intense warmth, lack of water, eyesight not the best, low strength
Skills: Agile, high endurance, works well in the cold, superior hearing.
Biography: Drejan knew he was able to work with water and ice since he was young. He always entertained the other young one in the pack with his ability to levitate and freeze water. The adults, though, saw this as a bad omen and always kept vigilant watch of these mysterious powers. As Drejan grew older, the other wolves his age also started fearing these powers and started treating him as something not wolf. As he grew even older, he started feeling bitter at his mistreatment from the rest of the pack. Once he was two years old, he was cast out. He was left to fend for himself when he had awoken to the rest of the pack moving in the middle of the night. He felt no remorse at being abandoned, so he held his head high and struck out. He wandered long and far, leaving the large hunting area of his old pack. After a few years of constant travel, he came upon the mountains of Sub-Serin. He took note that a wolf pack did, indeed, live there, but this seemed to be at least somewhat hospitable, and he hoped he could stay under the radar long enough to find somewhere else new.
