Tala flew over the Shinkou packlands, hoping they didn't mind her presence. She was looking for an old friend of hers, trying to reforge lost connections. She hoped Erika remembered... (ooc: Flashback) "Stop, stop, it tickles!!" She could barely breathe for laughing. Tala went into an over dramatization of someone choking and dying, ending in an extremely impressive muscle spasm that took her about a foot off the ground. Woohoo for wind magic and drama- they go together so well!, she thought. She loved playing with Erika Rose; they'd met one day in the woods, and had been friends ever since. "No more! Now, you go hide while I look away; I hope I find you before the end of day..." (end flashback) Tala sighed. She never had found Erika; a bear had come, and even though Tala fought bravely, she was driven away. But now, maybe she could find her old friend... Suddenly, Tala noticed something remotely wolf-shaped. She quickly dove for it, thinking, Even if it's not her, maybe it's someone who knows her. Plus, I'll probably search better on the ground.

Erika saw a shadow descend from the sky. Instinct made her run to the nearest tree and climb it. Through years of practices she swiftly perched on a large limb and covered herself in leaves and vines. She lay in wait. The shadow landed casually on the forest floor. Erika now saw she was a middle-aged and red furred female wolf. Whoever this girl was she was looking for something or someone. Erika stayed in her spot. It was strange, but she felt like she knew this wolf. If she knew her their meeting was most likely in bad taste as Erika didn't recall anyone in which it wouldn't. After a look around the red wolf decided no one was around she started to walk away. Suddenly a rabbit ran across her paw. Startled the strange wolf screamed "YEEK! BLASTED RODENT! I SHOULD HAVE YOU FOR LUNCH!" she growled at the direction the rabbit run. Erika was flushed with memory. She remembered. She remembered everything. Tala! Tala was back! Her only true friend! Bursting with joy Erika leapt from her hiding spot and onto Tala. This however was most likely one of her worst ideas.

OOC: Hey Wolflink, I noticed you're powerplaying just a bit here... remember that everything you do is an attempt, and you can never, ever control another person's character in any shape or form. In your post you're saying that your character saw Tala land on the forest floor, when clearly Tala hasn't done that yet because kmin66 hasn't allowed her character to do that.
A good example if your character is doing something to another character: "Erika tried to pounce on Tala, and hoped that she was successful in doing so..." You need to give the other roleplayer a chance for their character to react.

((Ooc: been meaning to get back to you on this one, haven't been on the right computer though, sorry!)) ”WHAT the-” Tala yelped as the rabbit leaped across her paw. She smacked her other paw down, landing on its spine and killing it instantly. Then, something landed on her spine, thankfully not killing her, although she had an injured pride. She rolled over in an attempt to shake the thing off her back. “Who the heck are y- ERIKA?!” Unbelievable! After months of searching, the answer hits me! Literally! I... this... how? she thought. “It is Erika, right? Erika Rose? (You still have a spot on the end of your nose.) Where have you been? Have you missed me too, then? How are things here? Do tell- I certainly wasn't near! I can't believe I found you. And this hare, too!!” She was so happy. It's just out-of-this-world coincidental. And on top of all this, breakfast! Sshe had scented a warren. “Follow me! I found breakfast, see. A hare warren is near, so let’s be quiet from here.” She began slinking forward, belly to the ground, ears perked, ready to leap on breakfast if it presented itself. Using her Candlelit Dinner spell ((Ooc: see her profile by following the link in my signature for her spell list/explanations)), she was able to see where the warren was. Spreading the visibility allowance, she allowed her friend to see the teal-y glow in front of them. “Don't worry- it's just a spell. The prey can't see it, and not even a nose works as well. It shows me the location of the prey by lighting them up like the day. You can see it because I let you; yes, I could include other people too. But let’s go and find it; I'm tired of talking. Be quiet now, they can hear us walking.” She padded silently forward. Then, she found the hole. She stopped, beckoned with her tail, and lied down within pouncing distance. Scratching sounds came from the hole, signaling a rabbit's arrival. As soon as it appeared, twitching its nose, she immediately... did nothing. Lulling it into a false sense of security is key, she remembered from her hunting lessons with the old panther a long way from here. Don't jump right away. You have been blessed with these wings; use them to take off silently, and drop onto the kill from above. She backed up a couple steps, launched herself into the air without a sound, and swooped down, killing the rabbit without touching the ground so that she wouldn't startle the other rabbits. She had cracked its spine the moment she'd picked it up, so it had no chance. She landed silently next to her friend, and dropped the rabbit there. "Is this enough, or should we go for more? I don't care; you have the floor."

"I'm fine. I think" Erika replied. Eat was about the last thing she wanted to do now that Tala was back. They would play and plant and be best friends. In the past couple days Erika had become increasingly lonely. Erika lived alone and didn’t have any friends besides Tala, who she thought she would never see again. Usually she does fine on her own but every once in a while she wished she could be a young happy-go-luck pup with more friends than cares. Tala brought the opportunity alive. “Let’s go do something more fun!” Erika suggested hopefully “like… I don’t know what do you think, friend?”
