Ryleigh watched as Drejan got up and made his way to the ice wall. "Self defense isn't always a bad thing." Ryleigh watched as he started to light up not only on his tail but his front paws as well. She watched as the water and ice started to spread and recede on his body as the wall started to change. She wasn't sure what he was doing but she was curious. The changes to wall were quite beautiful. Swirls started to appear on the icy surface. Drejan seemed content with his work as he walked back to her. Ry thought the wall was beautiful but she wasn't sure if he was done or not. "Dangerous?" Ryleigh's ears twitched at the use of the word. "Can you describe them? Can you make ice spikes or something? I just haven't met an ice element really and im slightly fascinated." Ryleigh looked back over at the wall briefly before turning back to him. "The wall is pretty. It is just to look at or is there another surprise with it?" Ryleigh felt her tail flick as she watched him. She was in a much better mood now. She was sort of glad the male had stumbled into the same cave she was in. The time was passing much faster as they spoke and she didn't have to be alone.

Drejan nodded at the word dangerous. "One of my abilities is tha I can cause a very rapid, sharp drop in temperature around me. That one's also dangerous to myself, because I haven't quite learned how to fully control it. I could easily drop it low enough to where I wouldn't be able to survive." He shivered at the thought of that. He'd never been in an area cold enough for something like that to happen.
He thought for a moment and continued, "I've also got the ability to cause ice to creep up around something's ankles and effectively root it in place. Until, of course, they break it. It can be quite useful, though, in trying to hunt prey that's just a bit faster than you."
He nodded his head towards the opening and said, " You've seen me use that one, but another use for it is to hide behind it and not be seen by melting the water just right so that the light reflects away from me. Though it also makes great doors and windows, as we just found out." he chuckled.
His eyes drifted to the ceiling as he was collecting his thoughts, and he continued, "I can also form a small shelter out of ice. It can get really cold inside of it, but it keeps the wind off, which is what I like about it. Though, I can also use it as a sort of holding area, trapping something inside of it if needed, though thankfully I haven't run into anything that's forced me to do it."
He glanced out the opening once more and nodded to himself. it's just about time. This shouldn't be too difficult. He looked back at Ry and finished, "I can make an ice spike to throw, sort of, but it's one of those I've been working on. It's a little much for me right now, and I run out of energy quickly from it, but it seems like it's coming along."
He smiled and said, "There's still a small surprised with the wall, and he once again glanced at the opening just as a ray of sun poked through the upper part of the opening. He smiled to himself and concentrated. The blue on his paws seemed to flow higher onto his legs as the wall seemed to start flowing and twisting, as if it had a life of its own. Drejan then looked at Ry and then motioned for her to look at the wall, where she would see a colorful display of dancing lights, cause by the sun reflecting off the ice and water.
He was happy he had stumbled upon this cave. He found the company of Ryleigh to be nice. He actually felt at least somewhat welcome for once.

Ryleigh listened as he explained some of what he could do. He spoke of being drained and Ry nodded. She knew what that felt like while training. Being frustrated because you just want to be able to do it. You dont want to wait all the time it takes to get to that point. Drejan then pointed his head toward the opening and Ry's eyes followed. She let out a small gasp at the sight before her. It looked something similar to the northern lights, it was truly beautiful. Ryleigh sat in awe for a while just watching it move and swirl. She was amazed he could create something so pretty with just some ice, water and light. "That's so cool how you can do that." She said as she turned her attention back to him and smiled. "That trick may come in handy for you one day." She giggled softly and shook her head. Any girl would be impressed to see that if he ever choose to try and get a mate. "How long had you been traveling until you came across these lands? It must of been a lonely travel. Would of been awesome if you could make snow critters to keep you company." Ry tried to smirk to make a serious question sound a little less sad.

Drejan smiled, "It's something I accidentally figured out I can do while I was bored one day. It's a good way to keep your mind off of stuff." He grinned and nodded in agreement. He looked back to the lights and said, "It is kind of impressive to look at." He looked around the cave quickly. He figured he'd get a good look at the place finally if he was going to stay in here for the night. It didn't look like the snowstorm outside was going to let up anytime soon, and in here was much safer than outside. He accidentally caught his eyes lingering on Ryleigh and glanced away hurriedly, hoping she hadn't noticed. She would be his first friend he'd ever had.
He looked back out the opening towards the horizon again when she asked how long he had been traveling. He thought for a quick second and said, "I'm not sure, really. I know it's been a few years though. I'd gotten close to finding somewhere to stay a few times, but I always got chased away." He chuckled slightly at the thought of mini-snow-wolves following him around and said, "Snow critters definitely would have made the trip a lot less monotonous, that's for sure."
He looked back at Ry and said, "You're actually the only other wolf I've met that also had abilities like me. What all can you do with yours?" Speaking with her had definitely put him in a much better mood than he had been before.

Ryleigh listened as Drejan spoke. She may of been hearing what he was saying but her attention was not on him. The lights that the cave door had created were moving lower and starting to dance on the floor of the cave. Ry had the urge to chase them around as they twisted and turned on the floor. Ryleigh continued to watch as Drejan grew quiet. She assumed he was looking around the cave and just enjoying the moment of silence. Ryleigh felt her muscles start to burn with anticipation as he started to speak again, this time in reference to the question she had asked him. She smiled sideways when he laughed about her snow animals. She knew of another wind wolf that could create them with wind, why not create them with ice and snow.
Ryleigh couldn't contain herself anymore and she hopped up quickly before bounding across the cave toward the lights. She had briefly heard the question he posed to her but she couldn't be bothered with it at the moment. Ry pounced onto one of the lights just as it started to dart across the floor. She chased it around for a few minutes, pouncing from one light patch to another. Finally Ryleigh was out of breath and puffing slightly as she flopped over onto the floor. She shook her head slightly as she remembered Drejan had posed a question to her. Ry rolled over onto her side facing him and took a deep breath. She quietly chastised herself for ignoring him like that. "Sorry" Ryleigh spoke softly with her ears back and her head hung slightly. "It was rude of me to ignore you like that but i couldn't contain it anymore." Ryleigh blushed softly and cleared her throat. "I have a few different things i can do i guess. I can create a breeze as im sure you felt. I can also create a large gust of wind to push someone backwards. I can also create wind tunnels." Ryleigh gazed up at the ceiling as if it had all the answers for her. "I guess im a little rusty." Ry blushed again, this time out of shame. "Life here has been good and i haven't had the need to use much of my abilities other then creating a breeze."

There was a short bit of silence when he finished his question, so he took the time to just enjoy it. He started watching the lights and let his eyes glaze over, making it look like he was looking off into the distance. He sat there, mesmerized by all the dancing light unil Ry got up, bringing him back. He smiled as Ry started chasing and pouncing at the dancing lights. He was glad someone could get some entertainment from it. He shifted his legs out to his side to get more comfortable as he watch Ry pounce about and the lights as they moved in their graceful motion across the floor.
He shook his head when she apologized. "There's nothing to apologize about, it's quite alright." He listened intently as Ry spoke of her abilities. "Definitely something useful, even if just for every day use." He listened to her final sentance and he seemed to have lost a bit of tension that he didn't realize he had before. Thinking about it, he'd never really had a good life since he had grown up. He smiled and said, "It's always a blessing to have a good life, and no real reason to use your abilities for defense." He glanced out the opening again at the wind and snow still blowing around outside. He could see the sun through the blur created by the snow, and could tell it would soon fill the sky with the telltale orange of a setting sun.
He laid his head down on his forepaws and a small yawn escaped his lips. He caught himself gazing at the dancing lights again, his mind tricking him into seeing different shapes of wolves. His ears drooped a little bit when he thought he saw his parents, but then he shook his head and looked against the wall, where there weren't any lights.

(OOC: Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you =/)
Ryleigh noticed Drejan's attention was else where. By the look on his face it wasn't a happy place to be. How to cheer him up. Ryleigh didn't like when others were down and sad, especially when Ry felt they didn't deserve to feel that way. You couldn't control the actions of others. He had a gift and he shouldn't of suffered for that. Ryleigh assumed the wolves were afraid of the unknown and were only thinking of themselves when they treated him that way.
Ryleigh decided she was going to try and get him to cheer up. She noticed his gaze was now on the wall, nowhere near her. She rolled onto her paws quietly and stayed crouched low. She then started to crawl toward him. When she was just a few feet away, Ryleigh rose up on the balls of her paws and wiggled her butt. She pounced at Drejan playfully and tried to roll him over. She was laughing as she did so and hoped he wouldn't take it in a negative way. Ryleigh was just in a playful mood and wanted to make her new friend smile.

{It's fine ^^}
Drejan yipped slightly when he was knocked over. The force of the pounce was just enough to roll him over onto his back. He looked over to Ryleigh with a quizzical look. He then smiled and chuckled a little when he noticed she was still in a playful mood. He rolled over back to his feet and calmly walked over beside her. A small mischievous grin passed his lips for a second as he nudged into her, trying to knock her down into the pile of leaves.
He hadn't been playful since he was a pup. It felt good to finally be able to unwind and have some fun. He turned to face Ry again and crouched down on his forelegs, shaking his tail back and forth, looking like he himself was going to pounce her.

Ryleigh giggled as she watched Drejan shake his tail back and forth. She started to hop around him, giggling uncontrollably. She was excited he had taken her move as a want to play and was playing back with her. Ryleigh decided a little taunting was in order and she turned to the male. “Catch me if you cannnn” She let the n of her last word last much longer then it should and then she stuck her tongue out at him. She bent the front of herself down and mocked his position, wiggling her tail back and forth as well. Ry hadn’t played in a while and it was nice. She had forgotten all about the cold weather and the approaching night. Right now she was just enjoying hopping around the cave playing.

Drejan chuckled as Ryleigh started giggled and hopping around. As they started to play, his worries from what he considers his old life started melting away, as if it were a sheet of ice on a warm day. He definitely felt that he would like life here. He knew there would be wolves out there that weren't nearly as nice as Ry was being, but even just the one was plenty for him.
"I don't think that should be too hard" he taunted back with another mischevious grin. He lowered his back half lower to the ground and wiggled his tail a bit more. He then pounced in her direction, but made sure that he fell short. Hoping to catch her off guard.
