Name: Sariya
Gender: Female
Race: Wolf
Sub-Race: Celestial
Breed: Gray Wolf
Pack: N/A
Rank: N/A
Appearance: Sariya stands a little over two feet tall and just shy of four feet long and has deep violet eyes. She has an almost pure white coat with the exception of symmetrical pale golden markings spread all across her body. On the face, a pair of stripes start at the bottoms of her eyes and curve outwards and up around the outsides, to combine into one between her ears that travel all the way down to the tip of her tail.
There's a single stripe that starts at her chin that spreads down the her chest that splits into two that almost seem to resemble fire, climbing up her side. They continue down the sides of her body, and the conjoin with the other stripe at the base of her tail.
At her withers, she has two wings, the same pure white as her coat. The golden stripe branches out along the front edge all the way to the tip. It then branches down at even intervals all the way to the tips of the feathers. When resting, they fold against her body, the tips extending halfway down her tail. When outstretched and flying, her wingspan is around 7.5 feet.
Personality: Sariya is calm and collected most of the time. She can be very caring, even to strangers to her. She has a very maternal instinct towards her pack mates, and can become very angry at those that have done wrong against them.
Magic:Healing/Fire
-Spells:
--Healing Glow: Sariya concentrates as she produces a golden flame in front of her. It sits there, floating, until she moves to to an injured creature. As soon as it touches something, they suddenly become enveloped by the golden flame, though it does not burn them. They feel a peasant warmness and calming feeling as small wounds close up and fatigue slowly goes away.
--Wound Transfer: When the wounds are too much for Healing Glow to take care of, Sariya uses this spell. A thin strand of white light connects her with a wolf in need of healing. As soon as the light makes contact, both wolves are enveloped in similar flames as Healing Glow, except the injured wolf's flame is much darker. All wounds on the other wolf slowly close themselves, but they then open up, mirrored on Sariya. She needs to be careful with this spell, as if she heals a lethally wounded wolf, she herself could die.
--Inner Glow: With this spell, Sariya falls into a very deep sleep. While she's sleeping, the golden markings starting glowing and pulsating in rhythm with her heartbeat. While in this state, wounds heal at an abnormally fast rate. A full night's rest has the capability to heal all wounds. Though, when she awakens, she's extremely weak, not able to hunt or really do anything other than sit around. This isn't overcome with healing glow. The only way to fix that is a full, peaceful night's sleep.
--Dragon's Flame: Seemingly with just a look, Sariya is able to cause a very intense ball of dark red fire to materialize directly in front of her and launch towards her target.
--Enrinyes' Vengeance: Used only as a last resort, or when friends/family have been horribly wronged, this is Sariya's most powerful offensive spell. She takes flight on her wings and ascends about ten feet above her aggressors. The feathered ends of her wings suddenly become en-flamed. The flames are a very dark red with a black center. In one graceful motion, he flaps her wings forcefully, sending 3 fireballs per wing down to the ground. as soon as they make contact with the ground, they all explode violently. When finished, she's able to descend to the ground safely. After she touches down, she loses the ability to fly for a while, as well as being very fatigued.
--Body of the Phoenix: When incredibly enraged, Sariya uses this to cover herself in An extremely dark red, almost black fire. This is a very dangerous spell, as it takes a lot of concentration and energy to keep it up. While covered in this fire, her other two offensive spells become much more powerful and easier to use. When finished, she becomes fatigued and very weak, similar to when she finishes with Inner Glow.
Skills: Well versed in different plants and herbs that can provide healing. She's a swift runner, as well as having exceeding eyesight.
Weakness: Water can nullify most of her abilities, though a lot can be needed. She hates being in the cold, and her sense of hearing isn't the best.
Biography:Sariya was born a regular pup in a litter of 3 along with her brother and sister, Chath and Afiya. As they grew older, Sariya noticed that her siblings had developed certain powers and abilities. Afiya had become able to assist the pack's wounded, while Chath had made hunting trivial. They were all living fine and peacefully, when a wandering outsider arrived. At first, her pack was suspicious, but soon Afiya had coaxed the other wolves into letting him stay until she could take care of the wounds covering his body.
Sariya has stayed around Afiya during the healing process. She marveled at the wounds, she had never seen anything like them before. As Afiya was busy healing him, Sariya noticed a small bit of black ooze fall from a gash in the wolf's neck fall to the ground. She watched it fall quizzically before it hit the ground, quickly seeping into the dirt. She shrugged at it, thinking nothing of it.
Soon, the wolf had been healed and he nodded thankfully as he was sent off on his way. A few weeks later, Sariya noticed something was different. The wolves of the pack had become increasingly easier to agitate. As she was eating one day, she noticed a familiar black ooze clinging to the tooth of one of the wolves. She had suspected it was the stranger, and she had to tell her parents.
They became more alert after she had told them of the ooze, though they couldn't do anything about it directly. "We'll just have to wait and see what happens." her father had told her. It wasn't long after that that the first wolf died. Afiya tried her hardest to heal him, but it was to no avail. A few days later, Sariya, Afiya, and Chath all woke up to the sound of the pack howling. They all carefully walked outside to see the entire pack all encircling the area where they had taken the dead pack member. Before they got a chance to move, the entire pack turned and stared at them. There was something different about them, but Sariya couldn't quite place what it was. Suddenly, a large black figure rose from inside the circle. As it scanned the three wolves, his eyes froze on Sariya. She felt as if its eyes were burning a hole into her chest.
Afiya a Chath both noticed this and jump in between Sariya and the thing. Afiya said in a low quite voice, "You need to run. We'll protect you."
Sariya looked from her brother to her sister to the large black figure and back again. She shook her head and started to step beside then before Chath stopped her. He shook his head and said, "You must stay alive. Go, now, before they get any closer." And with that he left of a loud bark and charged at the rest of the pack, spewing fire left and right.
Afiya nodded to her and turned to help their brother. Sariya hesitated for a moment, wanting to help her family, but turned and ran into the trees. She had to shut out the sounds of the loud fight and the sounds of wolves dying, but she couldn't shut out the loud explosion, nor the blinding light that followed. She stopped and turned back to see the the entire clearing was now ablaze and she could see a large black shadow, writhing in agony.
She traveled for a year before running out a rogue wolf lost in the forest. They became friends quickly and they soon became mates.
A year after finding her mate, they were laying just outside their den enjoying the warm afternoon sun. Sariya spotted a wolf stumbling up to them. Sariya's ears perked up when she got a good look at him. He was covered in deep gashes all over his body. A concerned look crossed her face when she remembered her past and looked to her mate. He seemed to be staring at the wolf, mesmerized. She became scared and started backing up towards the den.
Suddenly, the wolf seemed to appear directly in front of her, a murderous grin across his muzzle. He turned to look at her mate, and back to her. A deep demonic voice rumbled, "I've finally found you. Now I must finish." the wolf then exploded in a violent spray of blood and gore and the same large black figure from before seemed to grow from the blood. Her mate by now had shaken free from the charm placed on him and jumped between Sariya and the figure, growling menacingly.
The figure smiled and with one swipe of his arm, sent the wolf flying into a tree. Sariya watched her mate die there on the ground beneath the large tree. She then looked back to the figure, eyes seeming to burn with righteous fury. She suddenly felt the presence of her brother and sister there with her. Feeling them gave her the strength to do what she needed to do. She let out a long, sorrowful howl and a small black flame appeared in front of her. It floated in her direction, and as soon as it touched her nose, she became enveloped in fire the same color.
The only feature that anything could see from inside the black fire were her eyes, which were aflame with a fire of pure white. A low, menacing growl emanated from within and leapt towards the figure. As soon as contact was made, the clearing filled with black fire. The figure screamed in agony as it was slowly consumed. Soon, all that was left was a pile of ashes, scattered as the wind picked up.
The flames around Sariya had faded. She walked over to her dying mate and laid down, resting her muzzle across his leg. A weak smile escaped his lips as he leaned up and licked her face. His final words, "I didn't think you could get any more beautiful." His eyes then glazed over, as if looking through her, and his last breath escaped his lungs. Sariya laid there, a small tear falling, until she fell asleep.
When she awoke, she wasn't in her clearing. She panicked as she looked around. She was still in a forest, but it wasn't hers. She felt something strange and stood up. She was starting to get worried when it would go away until she came upon a clear, still lake. She bent down to get a drink when she stopped suddenly. She now had markings across her face she didn't have before. She became breathless when she saw what was strange. She had grown wings? How was this possible? As she bent down to finish getting a drink, she again felt the presence of her siblings. She glanced quickly around the area and saw nothing.
She had lost two families, more than what most would be able to go through. Though, she hadn't lost her entire family. Somehow, she knew her brother and sister were still with her. And that sentiment is what gave her the drive to continue on.
From then on, she's made it a point to help each wolf she comes across to her fullest ability. She had gained abilities for a reason, and she was going to put them to good use
