Heh, okay, so I have an Idea. For A novel. I can't seem to find anyone who doesn't know me, so I can't get a... non-objective opinion. So, what I need is a little help from you awesome roleplaying forum goers. What do you say? Help a writer-gal out?

My “Vampires”
Creature: Vampire {Gargoyle Tendencies} Name: Braeden Mate Pull: Lifemates Abilities: Flying, Regeneration, feeling emotions {but not mind reading}, Telepathic Communications with someone they've shared blood with. Puppet-Master [control of mind, voice and body] of someone they have taken blood from. Erasing or altering memories. Unusual speed. Immortality after they've found their lifemates. Can only turn their lifemates. General Appearance: Stoic and graceful, broad shouldered, narrow waisted. Lithe, fluid almost. Narrow features, almond eyes with thick lashes. Eyes are usually Greens, Golds, Reds, Albino pinks, orange and blacks. Generally between 6’2” and 6’5”. Basic Idea: 1.) Turns to stone in daylight. 2.) Needs Blood freely given to leave stone form. 3.) Vampiric/Gargoyle creatures 4.) Imprint on their lifemates, they feel nothing for anyone who is not their lifemate. 5.) Become killers that feed on blood if their mates become “Daemons.” 6.) Their purpose is to find and destroy Demi-Devils.

Explanation: Lifemates
The lifemate of a Braeden is just that - their Lifeline.
The first Vampire was a Fallen Angel {A lost One}. An Angel whose human has become a Daemon, a human seeded with evil by a Demi-Devil.
The Demi-Devil that ‘seeded’ his human cursed him and told him that to survive on the mortal realm he would have to sustain himself on the Life’s blood of humans.
Cian was devastated. He was a guardian, a protector of life, reduced to a monster. He refused to kill an innocent and he sought out Daemons.
Daemons were Evil Humans tainted by Demi-Devils.
Eventually, he met an Exorcist who was trying to purify the soul of the daemon he had been pursuing. The Daemon who was once the Human he guarded. The Vampire imprinted on the Human, for not even a Demi-Devil’s curse could change Fate. The Daemon killed the Exorcist and Cian died when she drew her last Breath.
While Cian was hunting and Killing Daemons he was unaware that each one he killed was left as a wandering Soul because they did not have their guardian angels to lead them to the next life.
One such soul had been a Shaman in life. Upon his death he regained the clarity of his mind. He was agast at what he had become. The Demi-Devil that had seeded him with Evil had posed itself as an ancestor and fed him lies until it gained his trust. He was furious he had been so weak minded and he wished vengeance on the Demi-Devil that had tempted him, and every one like it.
He called upon his Ancestors and begged their Forgiveness, and he asked them for a second chance. They took his soul and attached him to the stone of the earth, giving him a new body, and a new form. The stone became alive, and it became flesh.
The ancestors told him he had one year to seek out other remaining wandering souls who wished salvation, and to find the woman who would give him true Life. The “Imprinting” of his Predecessor, Cian, carried on to him, but so too did the need for Blood, for this was his punishment.
A year passed and a great many were found, each given a new body and a year to Imprint.
If they failed to Imprint, at dawn a year to the day later, they would become stone in the light of the rising sun. They would remain this way until the new moon of each month when there was no sunlight or reflection of sunlight to touch the Stone’s surface, Or, until blood was freely given and was spilled upon the stone.
Many of the Braeden sought out humans and Fallen Angels who had lost their humans to the Demi-Devils, and these humans and angels became “Caretakers” who, at sunset, offered their blood willingly to wake the Braeden from their stone forms. This enabled them to hunt the Demi-Devils that wandered the earth and to seek out their lifemates.
While caretakers often offered their blood as sustenance to the Braeden they served, only the human care givers could do this safely as Angel blood was toxic to them.
Each of these Vampiric Gargoyles remained “cursed with the Stone” until they imprinted. If they did not meet their destined lifemates before the end of the human’s life span, the moment she dies they turn back to stone and they crumble away to dust and they are forever lost.
When a Braeden imprints they feel the connection of their two lives. They feel her emotions, her pain, her thoughts and intentions become a part of their mind. They become incredibly possessive and protective because the life of their lifemate is also their life. When she dies, they die.
When a Braeden imprints and takes his mate into his safekeeping he can appeal to the ancestors to give his blood “The Gift”, and by feeding from her and she from him, the Lifemate becomes Aingeal, and the Males no longer become stone.
Male children born of these unions are called “Kieren” and they grow into hunters, whose job it is to Hunt and Destroy Demi-Devils and Nachotter, the turned, Braeden who have lost their Lifemates to the seeds of Evil. Kieren become Donns at the age of 21, and at the age of 22 they become Kern Artan for the first time.
Often times the parents of the Donn will protect him and awaken him each night, but there are the rare few Kieren who lose their parents to the fight against the Nachotter, for when the Dunkan dies, so too does the Aingeal, leaving the Kieran without a guardian.
Female children born of these unions are called “Càch”, “The Others”, and they are like... exorcists, in that they possess the Power to Purify the souls of the Daemons, returning them to their human selves, Fallen Angels become Guardians again and Nachotter become Braeden again.
However, if a Càch cannot be found then the Hunter will be forced to kill the Nachotter. As it is, Càch are extremely rare and are not born often, and the ones that are born live their lives either in Hiding until their Lifemate or Soulmate is found, or they are hunted be Nachotter and killed.
A Braeden’s duty is the Destruction of the Demi-Devils, Daemons and Nachotter, but when a Braeden becomes a Nachotter they serve the Demi-Devil that seeded their Lifemates and they do their bidding. They are dangerous and extremely violent.
It the Demi-Devil dies then the Daemons and Nachotter return to their original forms.
Braeden feed on blood, but they do not Kill those they feed from, the Nachotter however, kill every time they feed. Nachotter are also not forced to remain in Stone form when the sun sets without blood to reawaken them, because the demi-devils call them to rise.
The only night a Demi-Devil cannot call a Nachotter to rise is on the Full moon.
Moon Explanation: We see the moon because it reflects Sunlight. The moon does not generate it’s own light at all, so on the new moon there is no reflection of sunlight, and on the Full Moon, the reflection of the Sunlight is at it’s brightest.
The only time a Nachotter will bite a victim and Not kill them is when a Demi-Devil has given them a target, in which case their bite carries the Seed of Evil that infects humans and makes them Daemons.
Before the Braeden came to exist all Demi-Devils were females, and they would lay with human males which would plant the seed of evil in them and these were the first Daemons killed by Cian, the daemons that became the souls who were the first Braeden, which is why they are all Male.
Nachotter will sometimes become so twisted that they will lay with the Demi-Devil that turned them, children born of this union are called “Galwraithe”, these are hideous, demonic, monstrous creatures that are sometimes depicted in stone on old world towers and castles. Commonly called “Gargoyles”.
Galwraithe are rare occurrences like Càch, and usually as soon as one is found out the Braeden send out hunters to destroy them. They are very hard to destroy because they are literally bodies of stone, they can fly and they breathe fire.
The gargoyle must also become stone after it’s first year of life, and the only way to awaken them is by blood forcefully taken. The duty of the Galwraithe is to hunt out the Lifemates of the pure Braeden and lead their Nachotter Sire to her so she may be turned or Killed.
Lifemates of strong Braeden are often made daemons because the stronger the Braeden, the stronger the Nachotter. Weaker Braeden, or those deemed harmless are destroyed before they can become a threat.
Braeden do not have Guardian Angels, not even the Natural born. However, as mentioned before, sometimes a Fallen will act as Caretaker for a Braeden, and when the Braeden has a child, the Fallen will then become the Caretaker for that child. The guardian angels of the Aingeal become guardian angels for another human, or if a Càch is born from the union, the Angel may become the protector of the female child.
However, this is not always the case, some Càch do not have guardian angels, but a Fallen that has served a Braeden prior to the child’s birth takes it upon themselves to guard and protect. The Fallen is the then elevated to The Keeper. A guardian angel who keeps the soul of the Purifier safe.
My “Werewolves”
Creature: Werewolves/Skinchangers/Wolves Name: Varg Mate Pull: Soul Mates Abilities: Include [but are not limited to] shape shifting, supernatural speed. Increase of all 6 senses. Can digest raw meats. Have a basic understanding of animal body language. Can smell a person’s intentions and can sense a lie. Can communicate [vaguely] with wolves. Can howl to call for assistance [from wolves or pack members]. They build packs wherever they live, except loners, who, unless natural born, do not live long. Can turn others [wolves and humans] and can pass their genetics to their offspring. They live the span of two human lifetimes. General Appearance: Broad shouldered, chested, everything. Broad everywhere. Not fat, just... thick. Still flat and built. Square features. Thick with muscle, usually scarred. Wild, longer, shaggier hair. Sharp eyes and teeth, pointed noses. Eyes are usually Blues, Greys, Silvers, Quartz or Milky White. Often between 6’6” and 7’. Basic Idea: Alphas: Humans with the ability to become Giant {Bear Sized} Wolves are Alphas. They pass on their "Beast" {their Soul keeper} to the next Alpha when they die. The next Alpha of course, would be a Beta. A Beta who never imprints can become an Alpha after they die and are reborn, a mated Beta can become an Alpha’s successor, and in that event, the Alpha’s mate, even if they are human, are looked upon favorably by the Alpha’s pack and respected. The Alpha may, of course, turn their human mates, making them Gammas. But, as the mate of the Ruling Alpha they are given the title “Alphess.”
Alphas do have contagious bites, but only on the night of the Full Moon. And on the Night of the New moon they can’t take wolf form. The bitten can be humans or other wolves. The wolves become Omegas, but the bitten humans get an infection and die a slow, painful death. If the bite itself isn’t fatal the fever from the infection will be. The only way to save them is to kill the Alpha that bit them, or for them to ingest the blood of the alpha who’s saliva caused the infection. If they don’t ingest the blood they become rabid before the infection kills them, and like rabies, it leads to death.
Betas: Humans with a feral appearance {Like wild hair, sharp teeth, long nails, muscular, eyes with black rings and feathered edges on the iris.} and unusual abilities. {Like running on all fours, climbing trees with heir claw lite nails, crushing bones with their teeth, increased hearing, sense of smell and instinctive sense of direction. Increased Strength, Flexibility and speed. They can also see in the dark and their stamina is boundless. Great Fighters and Guardians. Betas are considered the "Elite" understudies of the Alphas. Betas are created by sharing an Alpha's blood with a human. A part of the Alpha's beast transfers into the Beta. What distinguishes them from the Gammas is their wolves. Omegas become their shadows. Occasionally an angel will be taken from a gamma when the gamma is turned wolf. Those that lose their angels are paired with an Omega, making them one of the deadliest partnerships in the pack. This makes them fighters and protectors of the pack. Betas can also become alphas.
Gammas: Humans with a feral appearance {Like wild hair, sharp teeth, long nails, muscular, eyes with black rings and feathered edges on the iris.} and unusual abilities. {Like running on all fours, climbing trees with their claw like nails, crushing bones with their teeth, increased hearing, sense of smell and instinctive sense of direction.} Increased Strength, Flexibility and speed. They can also see in the dark and their stamina is boundless. Gammas are great Trackers and Hunters. Gammas are rare, as they are fragile in mind. They are created, specifically to become an Alpha when their Alpha dies.
Gammas often go Feral, especially if they lose their Angels. Their Shadows.
When a Gamma loses it’s angel it’s paired with an Omega and becomes a Beta, and if their is no Omega to place them with they will go wild and become a danger. The only way to stop them is for the Alpha to kill them, the alpha that created them to die, or for them to kill their destined mates, which will shock the beast in their soul long enough for them to regain control and end themselves or seek an end.
The only Gammas that won’t become feral or lose their Angels are Natural Born Gammas, born of two Betas or a Beta and Human, an Alpha and a Beta or even an Alpha and a Human. Two natural born Gammas can also give birth to a Gamma. Gammas are considered rare in Small packs, but in large packs they are what makes up a large part of the pack.
Omegas: Alphas can turn a true wolf into a Werewolf when they're in their animalistic form if a natural wolf ingests the blood of an alpha during a fight and the alpha wills the change. This increases their strength, speed, size slightly, and their intelligence and comprehensive skills. If a Beta and an Omega aren't paired the Beta will eventually become vulnerable to possession by a daemon and the omega will go "Feral", attacking people and pets, causing a lot of damage.
Omegas can also give birth to litters of pups that are capable of carrying “The Spirit” that allows them to become Omegas. The spirit wakes when the pup is paired with a Gamma, making the pup an Omega and the Gamma becomes a Beta. Thus incurring the circle of life.
Miscellaneous Information;
Species: The Varg [Old Norse for Wolf] Unmated Alpha: Bjomolf [Norse for Bear Wolf] Mated Alpha: Bodolf [Norse for Wolf Leader] Unmated Beta: Gunnolf [Norse for Fighting Wolf] Mated Beta: Hrolleif [Norse for Old Wolf] Created Gamma: Audolf [Norse for Wolf's Friend] Natural Born Gamma: Leidolf [Norse for Wolf Descendant] Omega with Beta: Geirolf [Norse for Wolf Spear] Omega Alone: Ulfang [Norse for Wolf Fang] Soul-stealer: Sverre [Norse for Violent]
Creed: Lifðu frjáls eða deyðu í bardaga [Norse for Life, Live free or Die in Battle]
The first Varg: Ulmer [Norse for Fame of the Wolf]
Explanation: Soul Mates
The Varg are not unlike the Braeden in that they also “Imprint.” However, the beast in an Alpha is also his soul. His or her soul finds a soul that is the tamer to the beast. The soul that calms, that soothes...
Even if the human containing the soul dies, the wolf lives on because the soul becomes reborn.
If an alpha’s soul mate becomes a daemon the wolf lives on as a soul-stealer, a feral beast that takes the souls of others in an attempt to get back what is taken from them. The only way to save the wold if to have him exorcised, to have the daemon exorcised or to kill the Demi-Devil that created the seed that turned the human.
The Sverre take the souls of sleeping children and the souls that are taken by one of The Sverre, ‘the violent’ become “Orbs”. The bodies of the children dissappear and they are often reported as “missing children.”
The damage done by a Sverre is reversible, but only by a Càch. When the soul of a child becomes an orb the guardian angel of the child stays with the soul, protecting it from harm and keeping it from Evil. If a guardian angel takes the Orb to a Càch she can return the child’s spirit to it’s body.
If the soul of a “Natural” [or a Non-human] is taken, something much different happens. Their bodies become froze in time, statues until the stone is destroyed. The soul itself becomes what most humans call an “Imaginary Friend”. They seek out human children with “The Sight” and they watch over them as they grow, teaching them, protecting them.
[Explanation still in progress here.]
