A brow raised at her statement. Funny thing to say, considering she was on that same field... "I could say the same about you," he said back. "But, trivial matters aside... I know you're here for some purpose. Why don't we help each other out for a minute and then we can exchange information later, if it comes to that."
He glanced at the building once again, eyes scanning and taking in the guards below, circling, trying in vain to find the intruders. "C'mon.. let's give them a round and send them into a flury." He grinned at her, feeling like whooping some butt. Also, it suddenly had crossed his mind about releasing the animals. A little pay back for Blake and his cronies.

Midnight watched the conversation with some interest, eventually moving off to scan the streets below, watching the guards. Funny, she though, how seldom people tend to look up. She would wait until they reached an agreement, following them towards the guards. ((Im really sorry for the wait and then this crappy short thing.....next post will be longer i swearz))

Skye nodded, pleased that he seemed to have the same sense of humor as her. She reached around to her back and grabbed a folded piece of paper from her pocket. As she unfolded it, it revealed a map of Blake's building. She sat down of the roof of the building and laid the map flat in front of her. "If we go through this door, then take the second to last door on the right, down to the basement. Then go through this secret door on the floor, it will take us right to all the other animals". She stood up, looking at Blake's building. From where they were, the door was on the other side of the building. She bent over and picked up the map, folded it, the returned it to her back pocket.
"The only problem is, what are we going to do with the animals. We can't release them into the city. We have to get them back home". Skye walked to the edge of the building and sat down, pulling her knees to her chest. She growled, a very nonhuman noise, frustrated she hadn't thought about this problem before. Releasing them was no problem, but she didn't have the resources to get them back home. There was no point in releasing them if they didn't have any way to get home. But how did they get there? Skye turned her head toward the wolf, her gold eye gleaming like gold. SHe got up and walked to the wolf. "Can you tell me how you got here?"

Joseph knew the way in and where the animals were himself, though he didn't mind her vocalizing her plan according to the map. He did glance toward her, however, when she mentioned the problem. It was a good point, and unfortunately his abilities with fire were hardly what they needed. Unless, of course, he set up some sort of fiery pathway to scare the animals into running the right way across town. Not effective in the slightest. He knew Midnight had telepathy... he wondered if she could tell the other animals what to do. It was a chance.
He watched as Skye knelt before the wolf, asking her. "She was kidnapped," he murmured softly, though he would let Midnight answer the question for herself. An idea did slowly flit through his mind however. Once Midnight had given her answer, he would speak in his own turn. "If you could tell the other animals where to go, what to do, we can get them out of here. Following the alleyways, we can get them out of town and lead them toward the forest outside the city. It's a good distance, but not one we couldn't make in a couple hours. From there, I'm sure they can find their own homes and get comfortable."
He paused, glancing between the wolf and the woman, waiting for their responses.

Midnight peered at the map as well, trying to memorize the escape routes and pathways. She sat back when Skye voiced her concerns. Midnight had also started to think about it as well. Unknowingly she was having the same thoughts as Joseph. They couldn't exactly just open the cages and walk away. Scared and disoriented as they were, the animals would probably get captured by the other humans in the city. If they could somehow make a path straight through the city into the wilderness the animals might make it. Problem was, she had no idea how far away the forest was. "I was captured." she then replied to Skye. Turning her attention to Joseph once again, she listened to his idea. 'Hmm....I can certainly do that,' she replied to both, 'only, some of them might not have been in the city...they might be very frightened...'she was partially talking to herself, 'but, I think it will be fine. I think it's a great idea.' she ended. Now that she was still and adrenaline wasn't running through her body, she noticed several minor cuts and bruises on her skin. Most of them were from the thugs knives when they cut the ropes off her feet. Others were from her fight when they captured her. They weren't life-threatening, but they were pretty annoying. Clearing her thoughts, she waited in turn for their responses. ((just to clarify, what kind of animals are in there? like is it just wolves, or like wolves coyotes foxes etc. or deer rabbits horses blah blah blah.... it doesn't really matter to me, i was just wondering))

Skye listened as the man and the wolf shared their ideas. "I think this just might work". Skye thought out loud. "But how can we make sure no one sees or hears us, cause have no doubt the animals will be making noise as we lead them through the city." Skye sighed, she was sure being pessimistic. She was only thinking about things that would go wrong instead of the things that would benefit from rescuing the animals. "Forget I said anything." Skye shook her head, trying to clear all the pessimistic worries from her head.
"By the way, what are your names. Mine is Skye, with and e."
((Sorry this post is so short. I start school this Thursday and have been getting ready. The first two weeks of school will be pretty laid back so I will probably be able to post quite frequently, but once school stars going, I won't be able to post as often. Just a heads up.))

The man was glad when the two others agreed. So, they had a plan, they had direction. He glanced at Skye when she brought up a question, but then dismissed it and only smiled at her, shaking his head very slightly. Before they sprang into action, she asked for introductions. He supposed it didn't cross her mind that it might have been more appropriate afterward. Then again, knowing each other's names would definitely help when trying to speak to each other. "Joseph," he said, making it short and simple, "Nice to meet you."
With that, he stepped back a bit and ran forward, leaping through the air and landing on an adjacent building. From there, he slid down the side, landing on a few boxes and then springing to the ground. A somewhat impossible feat for a normal human. Aside from that, he would wait patiently for the others, unless they were already in motion, and would spring toward the building swiftly, though silently, his shoes barely making a sound against the blaring sounds of the city at night. In truth, he really wasn't worried about the animal's noise since the city was usually pretty loud at most times. But that was not a thought currently on his mind. Instead, he focused on getting back in the building, a knife drawn, his senses alert. Their path would be stealthy and not likely full of guards. But one can never be too careful at a time like this.
