Name: Lapizuri
Gender: Female
Race: Wolf
Sub-Race: N/A
Breed: Arctic
Pack: Loner
Rank: Loner
Appearance: Lapizuri is a smaller wolf being only about two and a half feet tall, and she is thinner than most wolves her size because she cannot hunt well on her own. However, sometimes it is difficult to tell that Lapizuri is so thin because her dark, bluish-grey fur is very thick. Although most of her body is dark, Lapizuri has an irregular white marking on her forehead and white-tipped feet. Lapizuri's eyes are light blue and glazed for her vision is not up to par, and they are surrounded by circles of fur the slightest bit darker than the surrounding. Because Lapizuri's fur is so thick it is hard to see the scar on her front left shoulder, but her injury is made evident by the way she limps when tired. The only other unique feature of Lapizuri's appearance is the shininess of her fur; in bright light Lapizuri almost appears to glow, but not quite.
Personality: Lapizuri is shy and quiet. She would have liked to join in a pack or make friends long ago, but she cannot bring up the courage to do so. On her own in the wild Lapizuri is timid; she is quick to flee at signs of danger and only risks hunting small animals like rabbits. Although it takes her a while to warm up to someone, Lapizuri will nurture and defend those she cares about, although her fighting and hunting abilities are not quite at the same level as those of other wolves. Lapizuri's only wish is to have a companion, though she is too shy to find one on her own.
Magic: Light
-Spells:
-Luminescence: Makes Lapizuri's fur glow
- Light Vision: Allows Lapizuri to see through rocks or trees.
-Retrace: Each of Lapizuri's pawprints lights up so that she may easily retrace her path. This spell wont work if it is raining and only lights tracks made the same day as the spell was cast.
-Blue Flash: A high energy beam of blue light bursts out of Lapizuri's body and harms anyone or anything nearby to her. This spell is very draining and sometimes causes Lapizuri to faint after using it.
Skills: Because her vision is impaired, Lapizuri's other senses are sharper then they would normally be, especially her sense of smell. Lapizuri is good at determining if someone is sick by their scent and she is very alert to the scent of an infected wound. Because of this Lapizuri is able to avoid sick prey and ends up keeping herself in good health.
Biography: Lapizuri's father is unknown, and she has few solid memories of her mother. Lapizuri's mother was a lone wolf with long white fur who made her den amongst the roots of a tree which had been exposed when the soil was washed away. Lapizuri fondly remembers playing in this den as a pup with her two brothers Slatoyo and Granoto. Lapizuri's mother, and her brother Granoto, were not able to use magic. However, Slatoyo and Lapizuri discovered at an early age that they both could use spells; Lapizuri with light magic and Slatoyo with fire magic. In these early years life for Lapizuri and her littermates was blissful.
However, that was about to change. One fateful day a bear chanced upon Lapizuri's family and attacked them without warning. Lapizuri's mother tried to protect her children, but the bear was large and strong enough to push her aside. The first pup to be attacked was Lapizuri. A powerful blow to her left side damaged Lapizuri's shoulder the the level at which she still has a limp today. Another devastating blow landed on her head, and caused such a jostling that Lapizuri found her vision permanently impared. As the bear came in for a final blow, Lapizuri feared that she was as good as dead. It was in that moment that her Blue Flash spell was cast for the first time and completely on accident. Lapizuri was so weak from the beating she had taken that she could not stay on her feet through the spell and ended up fainting.
When Lapizuri awoke she was weak and could barely move her leg or see, but she was okay. Looking around Lapizuri was able to distinguish burn marks on several of the surrounding trees. The huge form of the bear now lay dead on the ground, crumpled by the power of Lapizuri's Blue Flash. But the light that had vanquished the bear was unbiased in its killing, and scattered about were the crushed remains of Lapizuri's family. For many days Lapizuri cried and howled in the forest, hoping that her moaning would bring her family back.
After that Lapizuri refused to use her Blue Flash power for any reason. Instead, Lapizuri dedicated herself to helping wolves or other creatures she found injured in the forest. Although she was too shy to form any bonds or have any sort of conversation with those she helped, Lapizuri found solace in bringing aid to others. In this manner of caring and nurturing Lapizuri grew from a pup into a young wolf, and that is where she stands today.
